Hmm interesting positions for your OC. Sounds great. Now the tough part to decide which one of these positions would he take.

Easy enough as an outcast disguised in a hoodie walking around. Can be the easy route in case. From there you can decide on his personal traits and role with the story.

For siding in a unicorn group in leadership, may be a bit of work to pull off. I can imagine him in a village undercover with a couple guards also in disguise. At the same time, could make more thought on his purpose to be in the village. I do find it more interesting when it comes to group interactions in this way. If you can make this one work well, it can play a good role.

I forgot about the fact I was in the roleplay, as the one I was going to be with never really did anything regarding it, then it died for a bit.

I could just come in as my new OC, instead of the Familiar idea. I think this roleplay will last for longer than the one prior, and it seems to be becoming more interesting than the one I ended up concocting.

I'll be whatever you want me to be, as I don't want to steal the reigns again.

I am fine if you try to take the spotlight again. I was terrible the last Escape RP, and made it worst by ending it with a hasty return to the future. I'll do my best to get more involed. You made it more interesting with the stories. I like to see something similar come around again.

Since Earth ponies are great in manufactering and produce, it becomes a good essential to ltheir daily life. For unicorns to be able to obtain food or other resources, the may disguise themselves to make trades with the earth tribes. They can also steal by hiding in places, levitating any good, and hide them under their clothes if the item is small enough. Of course the risk of being locked up, may be possible unis may suffer the same punishment for even trying to trade.

Another way to disguise, if undercover, is to also be bounty hunting for outcasts, deserters, and traitors. Perhaps a pony, ex. unicorn, happens to be found amongst the earth tribes and cooperating, the unicorn guards can attempt to capture them and return them to their town, all while being undercover as to not draw attention to the earth tribes. May cause more racial tention between the two.

It just seems a little impractical for a unicorn to try and hide the large bone extending from their forehead, but if it can be done...

The future group are not far away from a earth ponies village + Aurora who's a past pegasus is in the group.
Lightspeed and Mystic are, from their cottage in the forest, going to the north. (I don't know where they are at this time.)
A white mare with the nickname "Joy" is in a forest.

@annosrules : I understand. It is pretty silly trying to hide the horn under the hoodie. Well in a way the hoodie tha also covers their flank can still protect their identity. Don't want to be put up in a 'Most Wanted' poster with a specific cutie mark. Well thats pretty much I can think of best for the use of a cloak.

@Julien999 : a thanks for the brief whereabouts. I will await for lightspeed_flash on whether he will continue. I noticed Nightshade Star hasnt been on since 08/22. I have given the message to him/her to still continue or drop. I suppose that if no response is made by the 22nd of this month, I will automatically drop em from the RP.

The backstory is that she was part of the ancient war of the Sun and the Moon, siding with the Lunar Republic instead of the Solar Empire. I'm not sure how far in the past this is though, so we can modify which war if need be.

The robotic eye replacement is more for a future setting, but I find that it'd be like an experiment of the past, with someone of high knowledge and resources(alongside it being something along the lines of steampunkish(I think that's the right term?)). That can all be determined within the roleplay though.

I think the best role for me would for me to be what I stated prior, and if I am to take that role, where would you like me to be/how would you prefer the meeting be(time, location, who finds whom, etc.)?

If Match was in the village for military purposes, it wouldn't be for reconnaissance. He's more of a Teletrooper/Calvary.
(Teletrooper being like paratrooper but with teleportation rather than parachute.)

@annosrules :  hmm... gives me an idea that if something happens, yo could be able to jump into the village. Only thing is in what situation. I think for our group, we may do something that gets us caught, and then you could probably come in. We can work it up and build into the situation. How does it sound?

@Jcfraven : hehe looks like that fits well. For sure since this RP takes place 300 years before all those kinds of events in MLP:FiM happened, could be possible a lunar and solar war happened. Doesn't have to be recent in comparison to our time, may have happened like 10, 20 or even 30 or more years ago. Unless your OC is rather young adult or some sort, I guess at most 10 years have passed.
Does sound neat you can be some sort of travel guide or a diplomat. For sure you will need to disguise yourself if your character will have any hope of getting ponies together. Hmm... a good way for you to start if you are a diplomat or a guide, you can be guiding a small group of earth ponies around the village. Sound good for you?

@Julien999 : I realized if an RP needs to be running well, we should know a few stuff like whereabouts and actions other people are or will take to ensure we have fun.

well... I will assume it is an unrelated village. Lets assume this one is a neutral village with no grudge against either groups. Kinda like a Switzerland for Earth tribes.
I don't think I ever came up with a name for it. Though even times back towns and villages have names.

I have a few names I came up with. Not sure which works more:
Tetra
Meadowland
Barktown (as in tree bark)
Apple Valley (pulled this one from a real world area )
Amellia
Sensara
Stallimare

Yes. No grudge, favors. Purely neutral. In a way is like a ponyville, except for Earth Ponies.

If ya like, we can call it Earthly Valley. So that can be our village name.

@Peace_Keeper I'm thinking that Match would be a member of the Solar unicorns, and is in command of a Dragoon Troop known as the Iron Lances. Key tactics involve Match overcharging the unicorns' magic, enabling them to more easily teleport for flanking or shock style tactics. Match himself would utilize the destructive nature of his teleport by porting into a group of ponies and catching them in the fire-burst. Possible reasons for being in the village are a raid for supplies, raid for demoralization and as a show of power, or to punish the village for not fulfilling a payment.

Alter as you see fit.
