Candy turns back. She sees the pony that talked to her. "Hello to you, too!" she says, ready to begin a conversation. "I'm Candy Moss. How did you arrive here? You know that this place is not written on Equestria's map!"

"You c'n call me Chuck -- Chuck Wagon," he said, offering his hoof in greeting. "And I ain't surprised this place ain't on any maps; there are a lot of ponies who'd come here if it were. That's what drew me. Th' closer I got, th' more I knew there was somethin' special hereabouts."

Pawing seemingly at random, Chuck lifted his hoof to show the small plant he'd plucked. "Sugar mint. Darn hard to find most of the time, but it's all over th' place here. Other plants, too, all growin' like somepony poured sugar on th' ground. Most of 'em are good in cookin', and that's what I do so I'm real interested. What brought you here?"

((What Chuck Wagon might look like.))

"Howdy there, pony," Chuck said to the new arrival. "You look like a fellow I've heard of -- Lollipop, called the Candycolt. Am I right?"

OOC: I'll give this a try.
Spoiler: Chuck Wagon • show
Name: Chuck Wagon
Personality (not necessary): Imagine the old trail cook / sidekick in a Western about a cattle drive, the one who keeps everyone fed, stands in when a doctor is needed, dispenses a little wisdom, backs down to nobody, and keeps everyone's spirits up.
Age: An older adult, but otherwise indeterminate.
Race: Earth Pony
Bio (not needed) : He doesn't talk about himself much, but has obviously traveled a lot and seen plenty.
Appearance: What's known as a "buckskin dun": a light brown coat the color of tanned deerskin, black tail and mane, black "stockings" that fade into his coat, and a pair of soft-edged black stripes -- one across his shoulders and one down his spine. He usually wears a cowpony hat and carries his gear in saddlebags.
What you would add (not needed):
What are you doing in a place like this? Pursuing the subject of food and its effects on ponies (and others). Looking for rare ingredients. Preparing for his next battle with his old enemy -- hunger.

(end OOC)
Chuck Wagon walked (as he does to go almost everywhere) up to the rumored entrance to CandyLand only to find Candy Moss already there.

"Halloo the car!" he called out in a friendly voice.

I made that mistake once and my bank charged me BIG TIME when my bill came in.  I had to call them to change it.  I guess that's how they make their money...

Interest on carried balances is their primary money-maker. Overage charges and other fees supplement that. But if you seriously exceed your credit limit (or use a card that doesn't allow overages), you will be told you can't make the purchase; it depends on the service and the store. (I've only had it happen once, when I was first furnishing my own place and was buying a bed frame and mattress.)

Keeping track of your finances (credit, checking, savings, etc.) and planning ahead -- especially with an "emergency fund" to act as a buffer to your cash flow -- is a lesson we should all learn.

Hi here is my submission I'm not new to the site but new to forms
Spoiler: show

Ah, zebra/mohawk. I was considering submitting one myself, but having a team member (even just an editor) do that would be a bit strange.

I still might do my own version, something a bit longer so it can "poke through" helmets to look like a crest (and a military cut tail).

then why did it say the camera button was f1?

Those buttons can be reconfigured by the user.

Forgot what the screenshot button for LoE is, but if it isn't set as Print Screen and you where pressing that, none of them would have been saved.

The screenshot button in LoE defaults to F12, and it even (sometimes) worked while talking with NPCs this time.

Using Print Screen works too, if you remember to paste the capture into a paint program and save it from there. It's definitely not as quick or easy.

Resolved Issues / Re: bits going to zero

I tried to buy items in game but it showed that I had zero bits and don't we suppose to have ten bits when you first start out in the game legends of equestria?

From personal experience during the OSW, "0 bits" is a display problem. For reasons I don't know, entering a map (from another map or by logging in) would cause your pony's inventory to display a zero instead of the correct number of bits. You'd still be able to spend any you have, and once you've had a transaction (buy/sell, trade, get a quest reward) the bits display would correct.

I don't know if new ponies were started with any bits this time. I don't believe they were.

My opinion:
They're relatively large, so unless you've got a lot of space trying to get them all can become a problem.

Buying them to leave them in their boxes or otherwise undisplayed is treating them as an investment.

So perhaps the best thing to do with the large Funko figures is to buy just those ponies you want as companions / guardians / icons / references / etc. There's nothing wrong with only getting one or a few.

We are the impatient patient. :P

Passing out nicknames like that is something that happens in the military so I think they were drawing on that particular parallel of the Wonderbolts. It is really only coincidence that the nickname they gave Rainbow was the same as the one she had as a filly.

Spoiler: show
Military nicknames in general and "call signs" in particular. The traditions I've heard for the USAF is for small ceremonies where the rest of the pilots (and even support crews) pick call signs for the new pilots. And don't complain about your call sign or you'll get a worse one.

Nothing we have to download please.  Beyond that, in-line e-mail text is preferable, but anything we can access online is acceptable.

Even attachments? Bother. I may have to re-send mine.

Now this I can do.

Modern/historic was an issue for Lauren Faust, too. She wanted a 19th century (1800s) look, with the big disparity between urban and rural areas (which could seem a century or more behind the cities). Which would also mean a period of rapid change, something that might mask the use of magic instead of electricity or other technology for things.

But Hasbro and other executives wanted to include contemporary things like refrigerators (instead of iceboxes) so the audience wouldn't be left wondering about the old devices.

Speaking of Manehatten. Always when I see it in the show, it feels so out of place. We got Canterlot, Crystal Empire, Ponyvile and many other towns with interesting/fantasy style town design and then...modern big city from real life :l . Doesn't fit to overall MLP designs that was intreduced in the show. I wonder if Las Peasuses will the same? I hope not

Spoiler: show
Manehatten may not have the same fantasy elements as the other prominent locations, but it does tend to reflect how major urban areas such as London and New York City looked in the 19th century -- which is the period Lauren was going for when designing Ponyville.

M8, they were defeated by a love bug, a slime and a PLANT, plot convenience is a thing but I'm surprised it took you too long to realize they are used as "Hey, look this powerful ponies, they were defeated by this thing now you know that it's a serious thing!".
Unfortunately, this premiere had more plot conveniences than usual.
