As has been said several times, the servers are now closed and will be opened in the future.
Please check back frequently on our Facebook, Twitter, News Board, and Home Page for updates on any future open server weekends.

Our email provider limits how many email we can send in a certain amount of time, which prevents us from letting everyone use the aforementioned notify feature. I'm very sorry, but you guys will just have to bookmark your threads if you want to check them easily ^-^

Indeed. We have a sufficient amount of ambient songs for the game already (around 30 if memory serves.) I can't speak for the music team, but I suspect that unless music other than ambience is in need and the current musicians can't provide said music, there won't be any openings any time soon.

If the servers are closed (as the title of this thread mentions), then the game is also closed to the public. You are unable to play, so updating is pointless. Check our main website or forum news boards frequently to see if/when we're having our next open server weekend.

Unfortunately, probably not. Most of our team is from the USA, not Europe. Only one team lead does not currently live in the USA, and to my knowledge the majority of the team that lives near buck are a couple programmers, a few artists (3D and 2D), and a couple PR. BUCK is in the UK this year, and some of the people I listed are closer to Germany than the UK, so even that might be a stretch.

We are an MMORPG. The MMO in MMORPG stands for "Massively Multiplayer Online." That being said, our game is not designed to work "offline" and cannot work without a server to connect to. It'd be a huge undertaking to make the game able to function without a server, all just to make the wait time easier to cope with. Thing is, the time it'd take to do that would just make you wait way longer anyway. Sorry, but it's just not going to happen >.<

I know lots of languages, mostly C languages. Right now I'm working on this really big MMORPG project for diminutive horses. We're still keeping it under wraps. You can check out our forums if you want to learn more about it.

You can be temporarily banned from the chatbox, seperate from the forum itself - along with other things.

The game will always be compatible with the online pony creator. The online pony creator is updated more often than the game (obviously, since you always have access to that.) So some time after the Open Server Weekend has closed, I may make an update to the Character Creator that makes it incompatible with the old version of the game, but I make sure they're compatible when a new game build comes out.

We do not support languages other than English anywhere except in PMs. The permissions appear to be flipped in the forums and the PMs. PMs should be allowed to use cyrillic, but the forums should not (so that does need to be fixed.) The chatbox is a separate plugin we added, which currently has no setting to disallow specific characters. If we had such a setting, it'd probably be on.

EDIT: I added this "setting" as well as several other censors and things to keep the chatbox tame without direct moderation.
