"Of course I am!" Sparkle said, the confidence regaining in her voice as she stood up.  "I'd happily risk my own life for anyone else in this room, and I would hope you'd be willing to do the same," she added, the fear noticeably leaving her body.  She seemed ready to defend her stance, no matter what was thrown at her.

'Suit yourself, you will reap your reward in due time.' She writes, trotting away.

Sparkle seemed absolutely horrified by this idea, her expression one of disapproval.  "Why in Equestria would I do that!?  There's no need to hurt him, he deserves to get out of here just as much as I or anyone else does!" she retorted, still seeming a bit frightened.

'So you say, but pray tell, are you willing to risk your own livelihood, for someone you have only met today? You are basically being given a ticket out, if you choose to take it.' She writes.

Sparkle managed to stop stuttering long enough to look up at Lunar with a puzzled expression.  "...Huh?"  She questioned, looking confused.  "W-Whaddo you mean?"

'Think about it: Lead the colt on, and eventually, his little infatuation can lead to his own demise, with him saving you, at the cost of his livelihood. He does seem hell-bent on defending you already, so you can easily capitalize on it,' "Lunar" explains.

Sparkle looked quite puzzled at this, noticeably blushing.  "W-what? I didn't--He is?  I--" Sparkle looked back at Raven, shocked.  She had been completely oblivious to the stallion's feelings for her, and was now quite flustered.  Too flustered to even think clearly actually.  So instead of saying anything further on the matter, she began randomly stuttering and blushing, as well as making some odd squeak noises.

'I see. You were oblivious to that fact. That explains a lot, actually. I assumed you were leading him on, which is honestly the best plan I have heard thus far during this.' "Lunar" writes.

Letting out a small yelp, Sparkle cowered, visibly shaking.  "Um-m, y-y-yes..?" she stammered, obviously frightened. 

"I don't know and I don't care..." she said, her voice low and having a bit of a growl to it.  "All I care about is getting out of here." she added, sounding tired.  She couldn't believe she had become so weak.  It was only the second round, and she already felt like giving up.

*Just reminding you that Lunar wrote something to Sparkle as well. I was not sure if you noticed.

Gulping, Sparkle glanced over at Lunar and Iron.  Next to Opal, those two seemed to be the scariest ponies here, especially as of recent.  Lunar hadn't seemed so bad before, but something seemed off about her now.  Sitting down on the ground, she simply avoided eye contact with them (and subsequently, everyone else) remaining in her own thoughts until it was time.

'It seems we may have a chance to have a little..fun.'
'You mean..Sparkle?'
'Of course. That Raven pony is highly defensive of her, harming her would be very amusing.'
'But she did n-'
'She is causing us problems, because we are still here. That is all the motive needed. We need to escape, she does not.'
'She is sti-'
'What? Another pony? What is your point? Do you not want to get back to your life, safe and sound?'
'Well, yes, b-'
'Then there you go. It is time to initiate the next phase.'
'...'

Moving over to Sparkle, seeing the other part of the grouping over there as well "Lunar" writes to the mare, to her vision: 'Hello again Sparkle, it seems as though we are now in a voting group together. You seem like a good pony, I can see why that Raven is infatuated with you. Pray tell, though, are you simply..leading him on?

Opal froze in her tracks, not looking back.  There was no way he could possibly have known about...

That stallion was about to go through a world of hurt.

Opal had been about to charge into Iron and attack him with full physical force, but hearing Lunar speaking up had stopped her for some reason.  Taking a deep breath, she continued walking, acting unfazed.  Before rejoining the group, she turned back to Iron, her eyes literally glowing with hatred.  Soon after, He began to hear a voice in his head.  A voice that would strike fear into the hearts of even the strongest of ponies.

You do not KNOW what you have done. 

But MARK MY WORDS.

Next chance I get, I will DESTROY YOU.

And you will never see the light of day.[/glow]

As the mare's eyes stopped glowing, she turned back, rejoining the group.  She seemed to be visibly shaken.  Noticing Opal's subtle distress, Sparkle gave Opal a sympathetic look.  She didn't know what had just happened, but the mare seemed to be even cold her now. 

The entire room seemed to drop in temperature.

*Hard to hear a mute writing with magic in the air :p.

After mulling over the Bunny's response, Raven awakes from his stupor, and notices both the off-putting movement of Lunar as she walked away from Iron, of whom looked a bit annoyed. He also noticed a bit of a chill, but assumed it was his imagination. What did surprise him though, was Opal looking..shaken, as opposed to her usual haughty, annoying nature. Deciding to try to swallow the past a bit, he trots over to her, and simply asks: "Are you alright?"

Iron smirked at the mares response and retaliation and spoke something that would get her attention as she was leaving while sneering.
"Ha, quite the hypocrite if you want to say ignorant...I've begin to question those rumors I've heard of an ice mage of the crystal mountains. I assumed one of your title would have a lot more dignity and a worthy foe. But this? Ha compared to others I've seen you're only foal turned sour over losing their husband to later on in a fit of grief and insecurity proclaim their self as a dangerous ruler. But if its true if you're cloak is what actually gives you that power, even with it I see no threat from you but only you trying to make up for it by trying to make yourself the real deal while utterly defenseless."

'Oo, drama!'
'Are you not going to defend her?!'
'Well, the stallion is not wrong, you know.'
'I know, but you were saying you were going to work with her.'
'For once, you are right.'

Stepping in between the two, "Lunar" writes to Iron: 'While I would love to watch you try to intimidate this mare, let me save us both a lot of time. You go away, I deal with her, you handle her how you want, and I shall do the same. Everyone wins, now would that not be just swell?'

Opal turned to Lunar, smirking with delight.  "Y'know what?  I like the way you think," she said, speaking in a low tone to be sure nopony else was listening.  After a small dramatic pause, a devious smile appeared on her face. "Let's do it."  She said, really starting to like the situation she was in.  She had picked up on a bit of malicious intent behind Lunar's compromise, but she could easily avoid being used simply by staying aware of her surroundings and using proper caution.

'Good to hear you agree,' She replies in writing.

((sorry guys, i was out for a couple hours XP))

Opal smirked at Lunar's sudden change in attitude.  "That's not a bad idea actually..." she said, sounding intrigued.

Opal simply watched the chaos play out, actually enjoying herself a little bit.  She had no idea where this sudden change in Lunar's attitude had come from, but she liked it.  Having competitors in her field made this whole thing more exciting.

Sparkle was suddenly stricken with fear at the statement, her eyes bulging as her entire body stiffened.  Being stuck in a coma for that long sounded... Well, terrible!  She couldn't imagine being away from home for so long...

Even Opal, who was generally unshaken by anything, was rattled by this idea.  However, seeing that everyone else was scared, she took this as her chance to take the lead and appear strong.  "Hah!  You really think i'm afraid of that?  You must be joking," she chuckled, a smug look on her face.  "In fact, this makes the whole game even more fun!  Adds a bit of tension," she adds, sounding thrilled by the new addition.

*It is fine.

Raven was too occupied to notice Sparkle this time, awaiting the response from the bunny, ignoring the bombastic Opal.

"Lunar" looks at Opal with intrigue after her loud declaration, moving away from her new enemies.
'Well, you might have actually found a pony worth..exploiting.'
'What do you mean?'
'Think about it: We can easily create enough chaos working with her, allowing either both we and her, or simply us, to escape, without harm.'
'But tha-'
'I said not to argue, I know what I am doing.'
'You are right..'
'Of course I am.'

After that conversation within herself, "Lunar" sends a private writing to Opal, which reads: 'You know, you and I are far more on the same page than I realized before. We could work together, and both get out of here safely. All we have to do is, as I wrote before, break some particular bonds, and generate enough chaos to work to our advantage.'

Iron nodded in response only to take a glance Lunar's way.
"If you were to fall, I'll keep Sparkle safe in your place. However, it turns out that there will be more threats to come considering how bonds have already broken,  outside of the "ice mage" herself. But For now with points to the side we could at least buy time for when they decide to slip up and get our powers or freedom for when that one winner gets tot he end."

*Read this before my other post, I got delayed and forgot to post this.

"I think there can be multiple winners, but either way, thank you. No matter what, her safety is my priority," He responds.

Nightshade scoffed.
"I have no need to. Should I decide to vote "Betray" every time, there's no risk of me losing points. You, on the other hand, are the one who should be watching out."
She then leaned her head down to Lunar.
"You've only got one point left. All it would take is for you to make the wrong move, and..."
She suddenly looked confused.
"...whatever happens when you reach 0 will happen. Speaking of which..." She turned to the moniter. "You. Rabbit. It's time you told us: what happens if we run out of points?"
The rabbit let out a small laugh. "Oh, that's easy. Those bracelets of yours all are enchanted with a special spell. Once they reach 0, or if anybunny cheats, it sends that spell RIGHT to your brain. You won't die, but you'll be asleep for a LONG time. I'd say..."
He paused for a mockingly long time.
"...about 24 months."
Even Nightshade flinched at that statement.

Raven and even Lunar flinched as well, but Raven then got confused, and asked, skeptical: "That seems suspiciously..kind,compared to what you could do. Why is that?"

Azure looked over at Lunar.
"N-No, I didn't do it!" He said. "She hit the button before I could even do anything!"
Nightshade stepped up, speaking in a cold tone.. "He speaks true. I voted without his agreement. Because while you all might mean something to him in some way, you don't to me. I simply made the most logical choice."

Meanwhile, the bunny was simply sitting there on the screen, arms folded, watching everything play out with a smirk.

'That means the other one mi-'
'What did I say?!'
'..okay.'

"Lunar" writes: 'Now I know my true enemy then. You better watch your back.'

"Indeed. I do want to ask you something, on that note," He starts, making sure Sparkle could not overhear. "If there comes a time where you and Sparkle are against me, hit the Betray button, regardless of what Sparkle says,"He finishes.

"Helloooo?" The rabbit's voice called out as Azure and Nightshade left the room, Azure trying to look calm, and Nightshade looking expressionless.
Soon, the wall closest to the group lit up, revealing the bunny. "AAAAnd that's the first round OUTTA THE WAY! Let's see those scores in...!"

Despite the countdown, there felt like there was an eternity between the word "one" and the reveal. But when it did happen...
The words slowly faded onto the screen, in a tally-like formation...

Sparkle Chord/ Nightbright: Ally
Opal: Ally

Raven/Game: Betray
IronBlade: Betray

Azure Wave/Nightshade: Betray
Lunar Sonata: Ally

"OOOOOOOOOOH!!!" The rabbit's voice split through the room, louder than ever. "What an AMAZING round! Time to adjust your points!"
The screen (and the player's bracelets) all adjusted accodingly, being displayed on the screen for emphasis.

Azure Wave: 6
Nightshade: 6
Lunar Sonata: 1
Raven: 3
Game: 3
IronBlade: 3
Sparkle Chord: 5
Opal: 5
Nightbright: 5

As soon as the results showed up, Azure put his hooves on his head, tearing up.
"I-I'm sorry! I did-I didn't do it! Please, I didn't...!"
Nightshade, once again, rolled her eyes.

'I told you that would happen.'
'Why..'
'It is like I said: They want you gone, they do not care about you.'
'I thought..'
'Thought what? That everything was going to go smoothly? That they were 'friendly'?! Wake up! None of them care about you, only themselves! It is time you do the same!'
'I..you are right.'
'I am glad you see that now. Do not fight me anymore.'
'Alright..'
'Good mare.'

At that point, Lunar switches demeanor, her calmer, elegant nature replaced by a more discorded one, maintaining her basic nature, but more dark.

'Well, well, well. So that is how this game will be played, huh?' "Lunar" writes, visible to all, but directed at the two that had almost caused her to lose. 'You think you are so clever, so sneaky. Let me assure you of something: By my power, you will be sorry for this decision.' A smirk on her face, yet with a glare to the two.

Opal nodded, currently remaining quiet until she could be sure nopony else was listening.  She really wished she could use Lunar's writing spell.  It would be fantastic for private conversations, and no one would be able to spy on them.  But alas, her magic wasn't working right now.  If she could just get her cloak back...

'It would not be a good idea to bring harm to him or her, you know. [Unless they are unaware of your actions against them, and/or you turn them against each other].' Lunar, and(in the [] marks) the other part of her mind writes, even if she did not intend it, herself visibly wincing as the last part is wrote.

Giggling a bit, Sparkle nodded, and followed Raven over.  Opal glared at the two as they walked away from her, just barely keeping herself from grabbing Sparkle's hoof again.  She needed to get rid of that mare as soon as possible...

'Still at it, huh?' Lunar writes to Opal s Vision.
