Title: The Nonary Game (Closed Sign-Up "Thriller")
Post by: Chromastone64 on 2016 Oct 16, 14:27:39
You slowly return to consiousness, eyes opening just to flinch at the light in the ceiling. As you look around you see you are in a small room, reminiscent of an elevator. You have no idea how you got here, save the fact that whatever you were doing last ended with a flash of white smoke that knocked you out. There's also a metal band on your leg, with a coloured number 3 on it. It can't be removed, and your magic/flight isn't working. There's a door, and it's unlocked.
There's also two other people in the room with you.
And so begins the game...

(Groups:)
Blue:
Azure
Nightshade
Lunar Sonata

Green:
Sparkle Chord
Arctic Opal
Nightbright

Yellow:
Raven Star
Iron Blade
Game

"Azure. Azure, get up."
A light kick cause Azure to rouse. Shaking his head, he waited for his vision to return, before seeing the Changeling Queen standing over him, with an irritated look.
"Huh...? W-Whaa?!" He scrambled to his feet, moving to a bow. "Y-Your Highness!"
Nightshade rolled her eyes, before looking around at the room around her. After rising, Azure did the same.
"Um...where are we...?" He said slowly.
"...I don't know." The queen replied.

*So we all have a number 3?

Raven
-----
Waking with a groan, Raven slowly opens his eyes, adjusting to the foreign light. Looking around, he sees a pony and what appeared to be a wolf, of whom he had never seen. Questionable, he asks: "Good pony, and fair wolf, are you quite alright?"
-----

Lunar Sonata
-----
Hearing the talk of the others in a room unfamiliar to her, Lunar stirs, and blinks open her eyes, watching the two ponies she has never seen. Due to a lack of speaking ability, she attempts to utilize her magic to communicate, but is not able to do so. Instead, she opts to simply stomp, so that they know there is a third pony.

With eyes open, Iron got up with he feeling that something was off. He doesnt remember why he was here in the first place but the only thing he could remember was that he was breaking through an area to only be paralyzed and blacking out then waking up here. There was a band that was wrapped around his right leg tightly and he didnt seem to feel any surge of energy. What was the meaning of this? The unicorn turned around to check his surroundings to notice he wasnt alone. There was a blue wolf that appeared bigger than what he'd expected and another pony asking him a question.
"....Hmm?"
*double checks to see if he was talking to me*
"Yes, just a minor headache but nothing that will deter me."

Sparkle groaned as she slowly tried to stand up, stumbling a bit and reaching for the wall for support.  "Agh... where in Equestria am I...?" she pondered aloud, feeling tired and woozy.

Opal jumped up from the ground, taking an attack stance.  Quickly surveying the room, she noticed there were 2 other ponies here with her.  Hopping back into the corner, she hissed, almost like a cat.  "STAY BACK!!  You haven't the slightest idea whom you are dealing with!" She warned, growling.  She attempted to activate her magic, but found that it wasn't working.  Looking down in shock, she realized her cloak was missing.  "GAH!  My cloak!  WHERE'S MY CLOAK!?" she shrieked, being sent into an aggressive panic.  "WHOEVER STOLE MY CLOAK, I DEMAND YOU RETURN IT AT ONCE!! I AM A POWERFUL ICE MAGE, AND YOU WILL BE DESTROYED IF YOU DO NOT RETURN MY PROPERTY!!"

Sparkle let out a small scream, jumping back into another corner away from Opal.  "Ah! p-please don't hurt me!" She cowered, covering her head with her hooves and dropping to the floor.

((for Opal: no cloak=no magic))

"I am glad to hear it. Do you have any idea how we got here? My memory is foggy, but what I do know, is that I have never seen this place before," He replies, looking around for an exit, and spotting the door.

"It seems we have a way out of this room, if that door is unlocked," He continues.

Game's sensitive eyes squinted as he woke up and took in his surroundings, noting two ponies in the room, one of which was beginning to talk to him.

The pudgier canine slowly got to his paws and realized how much taller one pony was than him, nearly double his height. Answering the pony's question with a small whine the wolf slowly moved away from the equines, not feeling sure about their intentions.

"Hey, no need to move away. We are not going to hurt you," Raven says, offering his hoof, trying to pet him.

Azure jumped, and Nightshade's gaze snapped to the now awake pony.
"Who are you?" She said, quickly and seriously.
(BTW, I'm gonna let Lunar use her magic. Makes it easier, and it'll add a bit to the story.)

*Fair enough, that will be very beneficial. It would be intriguing to have her have to find another communication method, though, if you want to go that route. You did not answer my other question about the bracelet, by the way :p.

"Perhaps it could be locked, if we were brought here however....even so It doesn't look like it cant be broken down."

"Odd," He comments.

"....."

Seeing that the door was unlocked, it was quite odd to leave prisoners in a room with an easily accessible exit. Unless, there was a trap of some sort on the other side for the purpose of trickery which was nothing new to the large stallion  as he's dealt with it before in his time as a mercenary.  Horn readied, not even for a split second had he lowered his guard while approaching to the other side waiting to see what was there.

*Just so you know, magic is non-functioning.

Watching him, Raven looks at beyond the door with curiosity and confusion. He decides to let the other pony do as he chooses, for he seemed confident about it.

Making sure of the safety of the path, he follows suit.

"Do you have experience with this kind of thing?" He asks the lead pony.

(Yeah, everyone's bracelet has a 3 in the colour of the team I gave them.)
Nightshade was already skeptical, answering her question with a question.
"You're acting calm, despite seeing a Changeling Queen immidiatly after waking in a place you don't know."
She nudged Azure with her foot swiftly when she finished.
"Azure, go examine that door."
"O-Okay..."
Moving cautiously, he looked over every part of the door before attempting to touch it. Once his hoof neared, the doors opened suddenly and loudly. Peeking his head out, he saw what was outside:

It looked like a huge, mostly empty metal warehouse, any step causing a loud echo. There were odd tables and chairs strewn about, and two doors with "Pantry" and "Rec Room" over them. It looked like a hastily put-together lounge.

Game was still unsure about the ponies, but didn't want to stay in that room and slowly waddled after the equine pair and headed through the door and out the room.

Sparkle let out a small scream, jumping back into another corner away from Opal.  "Ah! p-please don't hurt me!" She cowered, covering her head with her hooves and dropping to the floor.

((for Opal: no cloak=no magic))

Opal glared at the blue mare, still aggressive as ever.  "YOU THERE!  TELL ME HOW TO GET OUT OF THIS PLACE NOW!!!" She demands, her voice loud and powerful.

Sparkle cowers again, shaking horribly.  "Ah.. Ah... I..." She stammers, frantically looking around for some sort of exit.  Conveniently, there happened to be a door on one of the walls.  "Th-there's a door right there...?" she says, pointing to the door as her hoof shook violently.

Opal's sharp, icy cold glare shifted to the door.  She was silent for a moment, looking as if she was about to attack said door.  Only a few seconds later...
"NYAAAAAGGHHHHH!!!!" She shouted as she charged at the door, delivering a powerful buck to it.  The door flew off it's hinges into the next room, clattering onto the ground.  Opal soon charged in after it, looking crazed and anger.  "ATTENTION, PONIES OF THIS FACILITY!  I AM THE ICE MAGE OF THE CRYSTAL MOUNTAINS, RULER OF THE ICE AND SNOW.  YOU SHALL DO AS I SAY AND RETURN MY CLOACK IMMEDIATELY, OR BE DESTROYED!!!"

Sparkle stays behind in the room, wincing at the booming volume of Opal's voice.  Still looking frightened, she looked back at the other pony in the room.  "Uh, y-you coming...?" she asks.

((@Kat the skeleton , that's your cue))

A small rumble throughout the room could be felt from and in sync with shouting of the ice mare. This caused Iron to immedimmediately turn  in direction of where he could hear the source of said noise to give a annoyed glare instead of shock. They were definitely not alone in this area.

Seeing the amount of ponies flooding into the room, Opal's edge slowly seemed to sharpen quite a bit.  She so desperately wanted to march over there and demand that they return their cloak, but she was smart enough to know that these ponies might be as clueless as her, and that hostility wouldn't be the way to reach them.

She wasn't exactly the best at appearing non-hostile however, and it occurred to her that if she had a pony who seemed nicer with her, she would have a better chance of getting the information she wanted.  Turning to the blue mare, Opal glared at her icily.  "YOU THERE!  Come with me, NOW!" She barked, grabbing Sparkle's hoof.

Letting out a tiny yelp, Sparkle hesitantly followed Opal.  "Uh, o-ok!" She squeaked, terrified to no end by the mare's icy cold exterior.  Even her hoof felt cold.

Approaching the group of ponies, Opal stood tall, her posture and expression quite intimidating.  Clearing her throat, Opal opened her mouth to speak.  "Attention, scum of the Earth.  I am The Ice Made of the Crystal Mountains, and I have been wrongly imprisoned by someone here.  I demand each of you reveal to me any information you may hold in your tiny brains," She said, trying to sound as calm as possible.  She thought that sounded pretty polite, at least compared to the things she could've said.

Poor Sparkle, however, was too scared to speak or even react, as Opal's very presence terrified her after their previous encounter.  She kept her eyes focused on the ground and her head low, silently hoping to be released from Opal's icy grip.

Seeing the quiet mare, Raven looks with admiration, before he was swiftly woken up by the rudeness of the other mare.

"Good mare, let me assure you that myself, nor those of my little group, have any clue as to where we are, and I doubt the rest do either. If you would kindly get off your high pony, that would likely benefit us," Raven replies, coldly, eying the rude mare.

Opal scoffs, letting out an annoyed sigh.  Obviously she wasn't polite enough.  Perhaps if she associated herself with the quiet blue one things would go better.  "Ah, of course, please forgive me," she began, her voice filled with insincerity.  "While I have already introduced myself, allow me to introduce my... Uh... Erm... Companion.  Her name is, uh... what's your name again?" she says, whispering the last part to Sparkle.

Sparkle gulps, looking over to the ponies with an awkward smile.  "Uh... i-it's S-s-Sparkle, C-C-Chord.  Hi?" she stammers, waving a little.

Opal rolled her eyes at the mare's incompetence.  She should really learn how to carry herself with more confidence.

//I guess everyones doors leads to one room which we're all in?

IronBlade started to notice that other doors were begining to open with other ponies coming through them. He took a glance at Azure, Lunar, Opal,Sparkle then NightShade to examine them.
"Aye, I see we're not eh only pris-" he said
He was interrupted when he heard Opal's question, only to be answered by Raven. Waiting to say his piece he scraped his spearlike horn against the ground as if sharpening it as if giving a warning sign to the ice mare.
"As I was saying, now that everyone is gathered perhaps we should gather information of where we are, how we ended up here or should I say, what everyone remembers before waking up. Seeing how this could be no coincidence that we've been captured and put here, the captor would have a purpose for doing so. Since none of the doors are locked were locked nor any of us bound, their purpose for interrogation would be out the window. If any choice right now would be best, it would be to examine this area and further...and dont advance recklessly, as there possibly could be gaurds, traps, or anything that will punish you for making a foolish mistake."

*I guess read mine first, so Lunar's post makes sense as an interruption to the question.

Taking note of her name, Raven smiles at the now-identified Sparkle. "It is a pleasure to meet you," Raven responds, with a smile, before turning back and frowning at the other mare. "I can tell how laboriously you are saying that, but I suppose it is better than nothing," He says.

Since none of the doors are locked were locked nor any of us bound, their purpose for torture or interrogation would be out the window. If any choice right now would be best, it would be to examine this area and further...and dont advance recklessly, as there possibly could be gaurds, traps, or anything that will punish you for making a foolish mistake."

At first, Opal was quite triggered by Iron's reaction, shooting him an intimidating glare.  But once she heard what she had to say, she seemed to calm a bit.  "You there, I like you.  You're competent.  I don't normally say this, but I... agree, with your plan."  She says, turning her attention to Iron.

While her focus was off Sparkle, the young mare attempted to wriggle free of the icy mare's grasp, yanking at her hoof aggressively.  Opal simply tightened her grip, signaling Sparkle to pipe down or else.  This quieted Sparkle's struggling.

Sparkle waves again at Raven, smiling shyly.  "I-it's, uh, nice to meet you too--"

"Keep you mouth shut! ...Please." Opal says to Sparkle, interrupting her.  Sparkle lowers her head again, frightened.

Observing the rude mare's treatment of Sparkle, he growls a bit.

"It would be in your best interest to let her go, she appears to not want you to keep doing that," He simply says, taking a couple of steps forward, glaring.

Opal's glare directs towards raven, her eyes shooting icy daggers into his soul.  "And it would be in your best interest to mind your own business..." she says, her voice low and terrifying, like an oncoming blizzard.

Realizing that it would not be wise to trigger any of these ponies any further, she hesitantly released Sparkle's hoof, dropping her to the ground.  Turning to her for a moment, she kept her expression as icy as ever.  "you are not to leave my sight. understood?" She whispers, her voice aggressive and cold.  Sparkle nods, cowering a bit.

Turning back to Raven, she holds her intimidation tactics.  "You're lucky I didn't turn you to ice for that..." she says, her voice still low.  Sparkle looks to Raven, mouthing a 'thank you'

"If it meant getting you to release the poor mare, then I would have been fine with it. Keep your hooves off of her from this point onwards," He finishes, before seeing and acknowledging the thanks with a nod.

Opal simply huffs, deciding to ignore Raven.  That colt had no idea who he was talking to, and she didn't find him worth the trouble.  His willing to risk his own life for a mare he'd only just met had reached some deep part of her conscious however, and a small, small part of her actually admired his courage.  Only a small part though, and she would never admit to it.

"Now then, let us begin our investigation of the area and gathering of information.  The sooner we figure this out, the sooner we can leave this awful place..."  She says, starting to pace.

Sparkle remains on the ground, still a bit traumatized.  She was surprised to hear Raven willing to risk himself for her.  She barely knew this stallion, and he didn't know anything about her besides her name.  She wondered why he would be willing to do that, but found it sweet regardless.

"For once, we agree. Do you have any information at all about where we are?" He asks the mare, trying to return to civility.

(This is for everyone)
As the group all wondered, a loud, electric noise burst through the room, and before long, a wall lit up, almost like a screen. And then...
"HEYA! How's everypony feelin'?"
A white rabbit, with odd make-up and clothing, suddenly flashed to life on the screen. Looking disterbingly jolly, it's face turned to concern, seemingly from the hostile atmosphere.
"Hey, hey! All'a you calm down! Or, y'know, don't. Whatever! All eyes on moi!"

"Who are you?" Raven asks, not sure if the rabbit could hear him, and surprisingly unfazed that it is a rabbit. He is, however, noticeably a bit weary about the sudden appearance. Lunar simply looks at the rabbit, silent, as usual.

Opal sharply focused on the screen, taking an attack stance.  "YOU!!! I DEMAND YOU EXPLAIN WHAT IS GOING ON THIS INSTANT!!!" She screams, pointing a hoof dramatically at their oddly fluffy foe.

Sparkle simply stared on at the screen in confusion at the rabbit on screen.  She had no idea rabbits could talk.  Maybe this was a magic rabbit?  She continued to ponder this as she stared.

The rabbit began pulling some exaggerated poses, before returning to normal. It suddenly began speaking with nicknames and rabbit puns.
"WOAH, woah, woah, woah. That's not how you greet a guest, Mopal. And Birdy, thanks for being nicer."
The rabbit cleared his throat.
"NOW...Welcome, one and all, to the AMBIDEX GAME! I believe you're ALLL wondering why you're hare. Well, to put it simply..."
The rabbit's head suddenly grew, akin to a cheap jumpscare. It certainly made Azure jump.
"YOU'RE GONNA PLAY A GAME 'CAUSE MY BOSS WAS BORED!"

Iron tilted his head at the flamboyant rabbit's statement.
"Ambidex....so where is the door we must enter before that gate closes...and you're boss is making a fatal mistake for doing so without my my consent...I rather have him invite a navy  Arabian earth pony  I know, instead."

Sparkle jumps suddenly, cowering behind the nearest pony, which happened to be Opal.  While Opal was unfazed by this pathetic attempt at frightening the group, she was rather annoyed and a bit startled by Sparkle's cowering.  Scoffing, she shoved the mare away from her, shooing at her.

"Sorry, but I'm not in the mood for games," Opal said, her voice full of snark and anger.  She was going to find this fool's 'boss,' and demand release immediately, as well as the return of her cloak.

As soon as the word 'game,' sunk into her brain, Sparkle immediately perked up, standing up with an excited look.  "Ooh!  What kind of game?" she asked, looking interested, much to Opal's dismay.

Game was also started by the jumpscare, causing his fur to fluff up. Having remained outside the circle of ponies the wolf was quickly finding out that it was not the ponies he had to worry about.

The wolf lowered his head slightly, being a wolf afraid of a bunny is kind of embarrassing.

The rabbit cackled.
"Well, y'see, my boss...let's call them "Zero"...put together this game 'specially for you all. Think of it as a chance to make new friends! AND enemies! Because what's life without someone who hates your guts? Now pay REAL attention hare, I'll explain the rules:
Look at your bracelets. All of them have coloured numbers on them, right? Well, what you want to do is get that "3" to a "9". How? By voting! Every so often, I'm gonna send you all back into those rooms. Oh, speaking of which..."
With a clap, the doors Opal broke fixed back together, apparently with unicorn magic.
"Now, back to the rules: When you go in those rooms, a little screen will show up, with two choices. Then you just pick one! It's that simple! Well, for now. When the time comes I'll be adding a little twist, but for now, just get to know each other! You'll be here for a while..."
The rabbit's voice turned creepily sinister and mocking.
"Days...weeks...months...years...it all comes down to how you play the game. But for now, that's it from me! Please, hold any questions for the day that I care. See ya later! Oh, and don't even THINK about trying to take those bracelets of. Trust me."
With one last blink, the screen suddenly blinked off.

Azure looked around at the group. "Um...did anypony...get that?"
Nightshade sighed, and spoke dryly. "He said that an insane psychopath has locked us up and is forcing us to play a game we know next to nothing about. Wonderful."

Sparkle pouted, cowering a little.  "I don't think I like this game anymore..." She muttered, sounding near tears.  She was quite terrified just of the thought of being stuck here forever, let alone anything happening to her or anyone else.

Opal however, seemed completely calm.  She wanted to get out of here as soon as possible, sure, but the aspect of this game intrigued her.  She adored mind games like this, and was actually a little excited to watch everypony go insane as they tried to escape, while she however, would remain on top of the madness, as usual.  "Now now everyone, there's no need to fret!  This will be easy.  All we have to do is play along, and we can get out of here!  Simple as that, really."  She said, her voice now sounding sinister and a little amused, which was quite the contrast from earlier.  It was now apparent that her voice had a smooth, endearing quality to it, like chocolate for the ears.

Ignoring the other pony for now, Raven moves over to Sparkle quickly, embracing her. "Hey, you will be fine, okay? No need for that," He says, not actually knowing whether or not she will, but planning to try to ensure it.

At this point Opal was already out of the stallions mind as he began to ask the bunny about a time limit. But he was a second too late as the screen had cut off. It seems as there was nothing else he could do now except go back into the room. With haste he grabbed the chubby wolf and made his way towards the room carrying him on his back without giving him a choice.

Sparkle blushed a bit at the sudden embrace, unsure what to do for a moment.  "Uh, th-thanks..."  She stammers, returning the gesture.  Raven seemed to be the nicest pony here as far as she could tell.  She was glad to know that not everypony was hostile here.

Opal couldn't help but watch the two ponies embracing, finding it rather sweet that the two seemed to care for eachother so much in spite of only having just met.  Although she forced herself to have an ice cold expression, she secretly found romance between ponies to be absolutely adorable.  Quickly shaking it off, she refocused on her task.  The strange bunny had said to get to know everyone.  And although she despised socializing with others, she had a sense that this would be an important part of winning.

Scanning the room for somepony to talk to, her first thought was to speak with Iron, but he seemed to be busy at the moment.  So instead, she headed towards the only changeling here.  She wasn't the best at small talk, but it was worth a shot.  "...Hello," she said stiffly, still holding her cold expression.  ...She wasn't really sure where to go from here with the conversation.

Lunar, seeing the approaching pony, and hearing her speak, realizes even more the poor art of conversation in the mare. Smiling at her, Lunar writes in the air with her magic 'Hello to you as well. I do not believe I caught your name?'

"That sounds amazing, thanks!" Sparkle said cheerily.  "So.. Why do you think that weird bunny's boss brought everyone here?  And why specifically us?"  She asks, looking puzzled.  She knew Raven didn't have the answer, but it was fun to speculate.

Opal blushed a little, looking away for a moment.  That did sound kind of nice... "Thank you," She says, simply nodding.  She was shocked that this pony was so willing to trust her.  Normally ponies ran in fear when they saw her.  But then again, there wasn't really anywhere to run.

Sparkle:
"We must all have some sort of connection, I would imagine. In what way though, I have no clue," Raven replies, thinking about the topic in question, and looking at the other doors connected to the room. "I wonder what those other doors are," He comments.

Opal:
Lunar writes: 'You are welcome. To jump onto another conversation, I noticed you were rather..clingy with that mare, of whom that stallion appears to fancy. May I ask why?'

"Hmm... Maybe they lead to other rooms?"  She suggests, looking over at the doors as well.  "Maybe we could go check them out!"

"Um..." Opal mutters, now feeling a bit embarrassed for acting so loud and obnoxious earlier.  "...I don't actually know her, but she seemed docile, so I figured if I claimed to know her it would make me look nicer," She explained in a low whisper.  She couldn't have anyone else figuring out her secret.

Sparkle:
"Perhaps, and I agree. Let us go over to that one first, I guess," Raven says, pointing to the 'Rec Room' door.

Opal:
Lunar nods, and writes: 'That was not a bad plan, but, to be blunt: I do not think that worked out all that well for you.'

Sparkle:
Chuckling at the silliness, Raven follows suit, noticing the mare from before coming in the same direction. "I believe your..acquaintance is coming back over," Raven tells her, trying not to sound cynical at that, and moving on from the prior ordeal.

Opal:
Lunar quickly writes to Opal's vision, before going the same way: 'Very well, I suppose I will come as well.'

Sparkle gasps, suddenly freezing out of terror.  She had completely forgotten about The Ice Mage telling her to stay where she could see her!  Gulping, Sparkle held completely still, hoping she wouldn't be noticed.

Opal nodded back to Lunar before reaching Sparkle and Raven.  Glaring at the young mare, Opal stood behind her menacingly.  "You..." She said, her voice life a soft, cold winter breeze.  "I thought I told you not to leave my sight."  She said menacingly, getting closer to Sparkle at the last word.  Sparkle let out a tiny yelp, dropping to the ground and cowering.

"Ah, i-i'm sorry!  I didn't mean, to, I.."

"ENOUGH!" She shouted, stomping her hoof in front of Sparkle.  Glancing back up at Raven for a moment just long enough to give him a menacing look as well.  "...I shall pardon your mistake for now, but you must never disobey my orders again.  Understood?"  She said, turning her attention back to Sparkle.  The poor mare simply nodded, ducking again out of fear.

Lunar writes a message only to Opal, which reads: 'Calm down, you are making the same scene as earlier!'

Raven growls again, swallows, and says, while moving between her and Sparkle: "I still extend my hoof to civility, but I will not hesitate to personally ensure you stop causing this mare distress. I hope I make myself clear."

Opal scoffs at Raven, a confident smirk on her face. "It's awfully cute that you want to defend her, but I doubt a little colt like you could do anything against me," she says, rolling her eyes.  Noticing Lunar's message, her expression calms a bit however, and she turns back to Raven.  "...However... I assure you that I intend no harm..." she mutters through gritted teeth.  She honestly didn't want to cooperate with Raven, but if she wanted these ponies on her side, she would have to be civil.

"Perhaps not much, but I could do enough. Also, I suppose I will have to trust you on that, but I will be watching," He retorts, noticing the other mare.

"I do not think I have met you quite yet, what is your name?" He asks.

'I am Lunar Sonata. Please do not mind the mare, I do not believe she really intends any harm to that mare you fancy.' Lunar writes, hiding it from Sparkle, with a sly grin, to which Raven blushes and coughs at.

"I see. I appreciate that," He says, turning back to the other mares, trying to dismiss the painfully obvious blush on his grey fur. "So, the door. We should probably check if it is unlocked. With any luck, it might," He states to them, looking over the door in question for anything of potential problems.

Opal snorted a bit at Raven's blush, finding his obvious crush on Sparkle amusing.  Lucky for him, Sparkle was still cowering, and didn't notice it.  Turning to the door, Opal examined it carefully, looking for any traps.  "It looks like a perfectly normal door to me," she says, poking it.  It was at this point that Sparkle stood up, looking at the door as well.  She backed up a bit from Opal however, as the mare still intimidated her quite a bit, in spite of not doing anything to her at the moment.

Sparkle took a step back from the door, having no idea how to open it.  "Hmm.... I don't know..." She said, putting on her best thinking face, which looked rather ridiculous.  "Maaaybe there's a secret code!  Or a hidden lock!"  She began, theorizing aloud.

Opal facehoofed at this, finding Sparkle's silliness to be quite annoying.

Azure looked around at the other ponies starting to talk. He slowly moved to join them, but Nightshade grabbed his hoof.
"When the time comes, we just vote, and leave."
Azure, after a pause, gave a sad nod, before headed to the group, leaving Nightshade to contemplate.

Smirking a little, Opal stood tall and proud, nodding her head in the motion of a bow towards the queen.  "Well, it is an honor to meet you, Queen Nightshade," she said, ignoring Azure.  She really liked this mare's style, and thought that she would make a useful ally.  "As you may already know, I am the Ice Mage of the Crystal Mountains," she added, in case she had missed her loud introduction earlier as well.  She really wished she had her cloak right now.  It made her look and feel more mysterious and intimidating, and her full title felt a little odd without her cloak to accompany it.

Sparkle turned back to Raven, pouting.  "Awww.... Ok..." she groaned, sounding like a filly who was just told she had to do her homework.  Letting out a long and overly dramatic sigh, she made her way back towards the tiny room she started in.

Sparkle was greeted by an impatient looking Opal as she entered the room.  She could feel the fear coming back to her as the mare gave her an annoyed glare.  "Ugh, FINALLY you're here!  Now we can get this thing started," she said with a sinister grin that made Sparkle nervous.  She forced an awkward giggle and a half smile, trying (and failing) to hide her fear.

Following behind, and hearing the mare he despised, gives a glare to her again, saying: "Unlike you, Ms. Sparkle was being active, and checking out the place. I say she has done more than you have."

Lunar writes to Raven first: 'Please do not annoy her further. I know she is not the best mare, but let me handle her.' Raven nods at her, but keeps his glare on Opal.

Then to Opal: 'You cannot really blame her for having some fun, you know.'

Opal sighed, her expression dulling at what Lunar had written.  She simply nodded, attempting to signal an 'I know.'  Still, she wished that the Sparkly one could just have fun with the game instead of anywhere else.

"Very well," He responds, smiling in kind to her, not noticing anything out of the ordinary with the other mare(in comparison to Opal's usual behavior). Lunar notices a slight change, but stays silent, as usual, watching Opal closely.

Once everypony was back in the main room, the rabbit flared back onto the wall.
"Hey! So, everybunny get ready, 'cause it's time to choose! Now, you're gonna be put into teams, and go into differant rooms. Oh, that reminds me..."
With a loud bang and crash of metal, more rooms, identical to the ones the "players" woke up in, emerged from the ground.
"Right-o, SO! How it works is you're all gonna be split into teams who go against another person, and go into those rooms. Then, you vote. That's all you have to do. Now, the teams AAAAARE....

Azure & Nightshade VS Lunar Sonata!
Sparkle Chord & Nightbright VS Opal! Though, Nightbright hasn't woken up, so, boo. Sparkle, it's all your choice.
And finally, Raven & Game VS IronBlade!

So, it's 2v1. Once you've made your votes, I'll let you out. Oh, did I mention the doors'll be locked untill everybunny votes?" The bunny finished.

(This is based on VLR, remember? They had the whole PAIR and SOLO bracelet system in that, so I just simplified it. For an example, Azure and Nightshade go into one room, Lunar goes into another. The two discuss what they're going to do, while the single ponders the same. People will be set into random teams after every round, and then when the voting starts, be set against each other.)

*Okay, I think I figured it out. So you are opting for the VLR Method of Ally or Betray, where the points are added or deducted according to the choices, which can lead to "being left"(in order to stay within the forum rules) or freedom, and it is a decision where the two are to make one choice regarding the solo, and the solo making a choice regarding trusting the two?

Sparkle gulped nervously, stressed about the current situation.  She had a bad feeling something bad was going to happen to her...

Opal rolled her eyes, not really invested in the situation.  She figured Sparkle would be too nice (or scared) to vote against her, so she figured the best way to make it through would be to just be as cooperative as possible.

Lunar writes a quick message and sends it to Sparkle: 'A word from the wise: Opal seems a lot like how I used to be. As such, be very cautious. We do not want you and your coltfriend separated, after all.'

Raven, noticing Sparkle's fear, subsequently rushes to give her a quick hug, saying as he does so, keeping his own nerves hidden to the best of his ability: "You will be fine. Once we are out of the voting rooms, we can hang out in that rec room some more, alright?"

Sparkle nods, slowly walking into one of the rooms.  She had a feeling that this was not going to end well for her.

As she walked, Sparkle passed by Opal, who shot her a look.  "If you even DARE to try and harm me... Watch out."  She snipped, her tone hushed to a level only Sparkle could hear.  Cowering, she dashed off into the room, frightened by the ice mage.  Smirking, Opal made her way into a room as well, confident she could at least use scare tactics to get Sparkle to cooperate.  Once that mare was taken care of, she could focus on the others.

Everyone now in the rooms (I believe), the game begun.

A small panel lit up at the end of each room. On it was two options, plain and simple.

A. Ally.
B. Betray.

The rabbit's voice rung out again, in his own whimsical tone.
"Ok, so here's how this goes: if you EVER want to get outta here, you've gotta get that number on your bracelet to 9. Now, you do that by voting here, and depending on what you and your rival pick, it'll affect your score. Now, listen carefully...

If both teams vote Ally, you both get 2 extra points, and a warm fuzzy feeling inside. This is what I call the "everybunny wins" scenario.
If both teams vote Betray, no one gets anything. This is the "why even bother" scenario.
If you vote Ally, but your opponent votes Betray, you LOSE 2 points, and they gain 3 points. This is the "what a jerk" scenario.
Likewise, if you vote Betray while that sucker votes Ally, you get the points, and leave them in the dust. This is the "serves them right" scenario.
Well, have fun! I'll see you all after the vote! Oh, and, you don't want your points to drop to 0. Trust me. Bye!"

Azure and Nightshade stood there in silence for a good few seconds, before Azure slowly moved to the panel.
The two options were just...there. Risk points in order to be nice, or betray Lunar, which couldn't end well in any way?
"Um...right...so, I think we...um...s-"
But before he could even finish, Nightshade has pushed him out of the way, and pressed down on the panel.
Squarely on "Betray".
(I'm thinking just post our choices here. That way, if anyone wants out of the RP, we can just vote them out.)

(Is kinda like the final round of Golden Balls (Kinda old game show on ITV.) You had to choose split or steal. Split it, you both walk away with moneys, one chooses split one chooses steal, steal gets the money split get nada and if you both choose steal you both get nothing :3)

Game wondered how this was going to work, the fact being he was not able to communicate with the ponies on a decent level.

((Lolol, I love how it's me against me basically XDDD))

Taking these things into account, Opal began scheming deviously.  She could simply betray that annoying blue brat and get her out of here once and for all, and get points for it, which sounded like a fantastic option.  The only issue, if anything happened to Sparkle, it would upset her standing with certain players, which could hinder her chances of winning.

Sparkle gulped nervously, staring at the two options.  On one hoof, she was too scared to try anything funny with Opal, and she would feel awful betraying anypony.  But on the other hoof, the Ice Mage had been pretty awful to her, and this was her chance to exact revenge...

After taking some time to think, both mares had made a decision.

Taking a deep breath, Sparkle stepped up to the panel.  "Welp, here goes nothing..." she gulped, her hoof shaking over her choice.

Confidently, Opal hovered her hoof over the panel for a moment, second guessing herself.  She could still gain points faster, but... "Let's hope this isn't a mistake,"

Sparkle:
Ally.

Opal:
Ally.

((this may very well be the only time i'll be up against myself Lol.  Gotta play my cards right :P))

*I am making an assumption that the other party cannot hear discussions. If they can, then assume my conversation with Game is a whisper.

Lunar
-----
Within the room, Lunar examines the two options carefully, pondering them in her mind. The two creatures in question did not seem all that poor in character, but at the same time, she knew nothing more about them that would render her willing to ally with them. On the flipside, she has no reason to Betray them.

While thinking about this, however, she ends up in a conversation with herself in her head:
'Well, well, it seems we are back to this,' One part of her mind relays, causing her to flinch.
'I thought I got rid of you a long time ago. Why are you back now?!' She replies(every second one will be the 'proper' side of Lunar, to save time).
'Because you need me, of course. You are far too gracious and naive now.'
'What do you mean?'
'Really simple, honestly. You are willing to extend a hoof of Alliance to a group of ponies you do not know, and you allied with a fool outside of here, thinking that your little 'connection' will do anything. Wake up, buttercup, that is not reality. She, just like this group, want you gone.'
'I do not believe you. I got rid of you for a reason!'
'Then choose Ally, see how far that gets you, fool!'
'I will, and it will be fine!'

With that decision in her head, she chooses Ally, not realizing the betrayel of the opposing group.

*Let us have some fun with the mute :p.
-----

Raven
-----
Looking at Game and the selections, he comes to an even greater realization of how serious this 'game' is. He realizes two very important aspects:
-Sparkle needs to live.
-To ensure that, he must survive.

With that, he realizes the choice he would have to make, to the detriment of the pony on the other end, if said pony was to Ally. Not knowing much though, he prays for guidance in that choice, and turns to Game soon after, saying: "You cannot speak, but you seem to understand our speech. Do tell: Would you want to Betray Iron, so that we may be able to continue? You can answer with a whine or a nod. I need to keep going for Sparkle, and I am not so sure risking it is a good idea."

(No, they can't hear each other.)
Azure stared in disbelief at Nightshade, his gaze flicking between her and the panel.
"What...why'd you do that?!" He said, for once raising his voice at the Queen. He was met with the back of a hoof across his face.
"Because I need to get out of here, Azure." She said harshly. "I am the QUEEN of a land of Changelings. Me forbid, it's probably falling apart as we speak. A couple of ponies' feelings isn't worth the destabilization of an entire nation."
Azure opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out, until a long pause had passed.
"But...if we'd voted "Ally"...we'd both have gotten two points..."
"Assuming that mare'd voted "Ally" too. What if she's voted to betray? We'd be down to 1 point, as you heard. And I am NOT risking...whatever might happen should we get to 0."
Azure's gaze trailed to the ground, defeated.
"How am I gonna explain this...?" He mumbled.
Nightshade, however, soon moved to him, putting an almost reassuring hoof on his (whatever counts as a ponies' shoulder. Back of the neck? I dunno).
"Think about it like this: this way, we won't lose any points. And personally, I WOULD prefer to see you get out of this, too. I need my butler."
All Azure could do was sigh.

Iron took a glance at the screen. Most likely he was going to be left at some point and Raven had the conviction of keeping Sparkle safe. But then there was GamePaw. If he'd had to choose between the two in terms of competence he'd have his trust in the pony and ally with him but he wasn't taking any chances if they took advantage of it. Without second thought he mashed the "Betray" button.

((ah, okie, so we can leave xD I wasn't sure Lol))

Sparkle ran out of the room swiftly, crying and screaming to herself.  She was really really scared that something was going to happen to her.  In contrast, Opal had exited calmly and silently.  Seeing the crying mare, Opal rolled her eyes, and hesitantly tried to put a comforting hoof on Sparkle's shoulder.

"Oh, would you stop crying already!  It's just a game, yeesh," she said, sounding annoyed, with a possible hint of concern for the mare.  Sparkle simply cried louder, fearing that Opal had betrayed her and that she was going to be stuck here forever.

"Oh, would you stop crying already!  It's just a game, yeesh," she said, sounding annoyed, with a possible hint of concern for the mare.  Sparkle simply cried louder, fearing that Opal had betrayed her and that she was going to be stuck here forever.

Noticing the crying mare, Raven instantly rushes out of his prior spot, to get over to her, and giving her an embrace, to comfort her. "Come now, what is with the crying? You are here, you are fine, alright? I said that you would be alright, and I am not one to go back on my word, okay?"

Lunar simply watches in silence, as the mental war wages on(every second one is Lunar):
'Good work with the whole ally thing, I bet that will go over well.'
'In fact, I think it will, so you can leave now.'
'If I leave, this will not end well for you, so I think I will stay. I care for you more than you realize, you know.'
'You sure do not seem like it.'
'I am simply being real with you, instead of feeding your naivety. You were better off before you got rid of me.'
'I was also a harm to all I knew.'
'They were fools.'
'You are a fool!'
'We will see.'

Sparkle sniffled a little, claming slightly as she looked up at Raven with a teary smile.  Her face was quite pink, though it was unclear if this was blushing or simply from the crying.  Nodding, she gave raven a hug back, wiping the tears out of her eyes.  "Th-thanks," she stammered, still sniffling a bit.  Opal rolled her eyes at the display, still quite annoyed by Raven.  If he kept jumping in and trying to be the hero, then she could never manipulate Sparkle into trusting her.  She would have to deal with this problem later, however.

"You are welcome. Smiling looks far better on you than a frown," He comments, smiling back at her in kind, seeing Opal in his peripheral vision and hosting a temporary glare, before motioning to Sparkle to move away from the other mare, where he was standing prior.

Giggling a bit, Sparkle nodded, and followed Raven over.  Opal glared at the two as they walked away from her, just barely keeping herself from grabbing Sparkle's hoof again.  She needed to get rid of that mare as soon as possible...

"Helloooo?" The rabbit's voice called out as Azure and Nightshade left the room, Azure trying to look calm, and Nightshade looking expressionless.
Soon, the wall closest to the group lit up, revealing the bunny. "AAAAnd that's the first round OUTTA THE WAY! Let's see those scores in...!"
3!
2!
1!
Despite the countdown, there felt like there was an eternity between the word "one" and the reveal. But when it did happen...
The words slowly faded onto the screen, in a tally-like formation...

Sparkle Chord/ Nightbright: Ally
Opal: Ally

Raven/Game: Betray
IronBlade: Betray

Azure Wave/Nightshade: Betray
Lunar Sonata: Ally

"OOOOOOOOOOH!!!" The rabbit's voice split through the room, louder than ever. "What an AMAZING round! Time to adjust your points!"
The screen (and the player's bracelets) all adjusted accodingly, being displayed on the screen for emphasis.

Azure Wave: 6
Nightshade: 6
Lunar Sonata: 1
Raven: 3
Game: 3
IronBlade: 3
Sparkle Chord: 5
Opal: 5
Nightbright: 5

As soon as the results showed up, Azure put his hooves on his head, tearing up.
"I-I'm sorry! I did-I didn't do it! Please, I didn't...!"
Nightshade, once again, rolled her eyes.

"Called it."

'I told you that would happen.'
'Why..'
'It is like I said: They want you gone, they do not care about you.'
'I thought..'
'Thought what? That everything was going to go smoothly? That they were 'friendly'?! Wake up! None of them care about you, only themselves! It is time you do the same!'
'I..you are right.'
'I am glad you see that now. Do not fight me anymore.'
'Alright..'
'Good mare.'

At that point, Lunar switches demeanor, her calmer, elegant nature replaced by a more discorded one, maintaining her basic nature, but more dark.

'Well, well, well. So that is how this game will be played, huh?' "Lunar" writes, visible to all, but directed at the two that had almost caused her to lose. 'You think you are so clever, so sneaky. Let me assure you of something: By my power, you will be sorry for this decision.' A smirk on her face, yet with a glare to the two.

Nightshade stepped up, speaking in a cold tone.. "He speaks true. I voted without his agreement. Because while you all might mean something to him in some way, you don't to me. I simply made the most logical choice."

"If you were to fall, I'll keep Sparkle safe in your place. However, it turns out that there will be more threats to come considering how bonds have already broken,  outside of the "ice mage" herself. Nightshade scoffed.
"I have no need to. Should I decide to vote "Betray" every time, there's no risk of me losing points. You, on the other hand, are the one who should be watching out."
She then leaned her head down to Lunar.
"You've only got one point left. All it would take is for you to make the wrong move, and..."
She suddenly looked confused.
"...whatever happens when you reach 0 will happen. Speaking of which..." She turned to the moniter. "You. Rabbit. It's time you told us: what happens if we run out of points?"
The rabbit let out a small laugh. "Oh, that's easy. Those bracelets of yours all are enchanted with a special spell. Once they reach 0, or if anybunny cheats, it sends that spell RIGHT to your brain. You won't die, but you'll be asleep for a LONG time. I'd say..."
He paused for a mockingly long time.
"...about 24 months."
Even Nightshade flinched at that statement.

Sparkle was suddenly stricken with fear at the statement, her eyes bulging as her entire body stiffened.  Being stuck in a coma for that long sounded... Well, terrible!  She couldn't imagine being away from home for so long...

Even Opal, who was generally unshaken by anything, was rattled by this idea.  However, seeing that everyone else was scared, she took this as her chance to take the lead and appear strong.  "Hah!  You really think i'm afraid of that?  You must be joking," she chuckled, a smug look on her face.  "In fact, this makes the whole game even more fun!  Adds a bit of tension," she adds, sounding thrilled by the new addition.

Raven was too occupied to notice Sparkle this time, awaiting the response from the bunny, ignoring the bombastic Opal.

The rabbit shrugged. "I dunno, that's just what my boss told me. He also told me that's the minimum of how long you'll be asleep. The way I see it? A TON of stuff could happen in two years...Friends could move away, you might not see your pets again, heck, maybe those "oh so special" six'll mess up and the whole world goes BOOM!"
The rabbit started laughing maniacally, before calming again.
"Ahem. So, now, let's move on. In a bit of time, I'm gonna call you all back here for round two. Not soon, though. I'm gonna let you mingle with your new nemesis/BFFs. The next round'll be in about...one hour!" (In the RP, not real time).

Opal turned to face Iron, looking him directly in the eye.  She seemed completely unfazed by the stallion's obvious intimidation tactics.  "He can't be serious.  Is he serious?  Oh my gosh, he is serious!  Oh this is hilarious. Listen, I know you think you're scary, and i'm sure you could easily scare some little fillies or something, but let me make something clear to you.  You don't scare me a bit." She said, her voice full of sarcasm and salt.  "Frankly, i'm not stupid enough to try and mess with you ignorant ponies.  You're hardly worth the trouble!  And even if I did want to mess with you, there wouldn't be any point to it!  So, I suggest you mind your own business."  She finished, with just a hint of intimidation in her voice.  Without another word, she simply walked away from Iron, winking at Lunar as she made her way back to the group.  By the time they were out of here, she would have every single pony in this room wrapped around her little finger.  Or, hoof, as the case may be.

Game watched the commotion from the side of a nearby chair, luckily he was still treated as somewhat of a dumb animal, so a lot of their anger wasn't pointed at him.

(Could make Game talk through magical bracelet if wants, might be easier fro some people to work with him as a character :3)

'Oo, drama!'
'Are you not going to defend her?!'
'Well, the stallion is not wrong, you know.'
'I know, but you were saying you were going to work with her.'
'For once, you are right.'

Stepping in between the two, "Lunar" writes to Iron: 'While I would love to watch you try to intimidate this mare, let me save us both a lot of time. You go away, I deal with her, you handle her how you want, and I shall do the same. Everyone wins, now would that not be just swell?'

Opal froze in her tracks, not looking back.  There was no way he could possibly have known about...

...

That stallion was about to go through a world of hurt.

Opal had been about to charge into Iron and attack him with full physical force, but hearing Lunar speaking up had stopped her for some reason.  Taking a deep breath, she continued walking, acting unfazed.  Before rejoining the group, she turned back to Iron, her eyes literally glowing with hatred.  Soon after, He began to hear a voice in his head.  A voice that would strike fear into the hearts of even the strongest of ponies.

[glow=blue,9,300]You....

You do not KNOW what you have done.

But MARK MY WORDS.

Next chance I get, I will DESTROY YOU.

And you will never see the light of day.[/glow]

As the mare's eyes stopped glowing, she turned back, rejoining the group.  She seemed to be visibly shaken.  Noticing Opal's subtle distress, Sparkle gave Opal a sympathetic look.  She didn't know what had just happened, but the mare seemed to be even cold her now.

The entire room seemed to drop in temperature.

*Hard to hear a mute writing with magic in the air :p.

After mulling over the Bunny's response, Raven awakes from his stupor, and notices both the off-putting movement of Lunar as she walked away from Iron, of whom looked a bit annoyed. He also noticed a bit of a chill, but assumed it was his imagination. What did surprise him though, was Opal looking..shaken, as opposed to her usual haughty, annoying nature. Deciding to try to swallow the past a bit, he trots over to her, and simply asks: "Are you alright?"

Iron looked up to notice that the room temperature had changed when he had approached the couch that Raven had left.
So that seems to have triggered her at the point she's bypassed the magic hold... he thought

If thats the case...then so be it, I'll be waiting to face you with every strength when that day comes

From this point on all ties with every pony had gone sour and things were going to get tense. Most likely this is exactly what the Bunny was hoping for. All Iron could do right now was stand but he  couch and watch the conversation as means of waiting this out.

(Sure)
The bunny flashed back on screen for a second.
"OH! I completely forgot! Boop!" He made like he pressed a small, imaginary button. "There! Now the dog can talk."
He then looked around a bit. "Hey, it's getting a bit colder in here. Lemme just fix that."
The room temperature rose suddenly, almsot like a hot flush.
"But, lemme just remind you all; If I catch ANYBUNNY somehow using magic aside form ol' Luny Sonny here, you'll instantly drop to zero points."
The bunny then cleared his throat, before adding. "Why do I even do that? I don't have a throat! ANYWAY! Time to announce the next teams you'll be in! IIIIIIIIIITTTTSSSSSS...!"

Azure, Opal, and Game!
Raven, Nightbright, and Nightshade!
Lunar, Iron, and Sparkle!

I'll be telling you who'll be against who when it comes to the round, but for now, be sure to get to know your new buddies REAL GOOD. Bye!"
With that, the bunny vanished again.
Azure let out a small gulp and a quick glance at Opal. While at first, he simply found her pompous and irritating, he now was quite intimidated by her, leaving him to dread going against her, if it came to that.

Opal seemed to stumble at the sudden increase in heat, nearly falling to the ground.  She hated hot temperatures, and couldn't stand anything above winter weather.  Her dread grew even worse as she heard who she was up against.  She didn't really understand why a wolf was here, or why he was one of the victims.  She didn't really are much, but it seemed rather unfair to make him one of the victims.  ...Wait, how was he even going to vote?  Was he even able to reach the screen?  And how would--

Opal shook off her train of thought, refocusing on the room around her.  Noticing Azure glance at her, she walked over to him, looking rather upset from earlier still, and unintentionally appearing quite frightening.   Great, i'm stuck with the Changeling Queen's lackey? ...Well, at least he's not as annoying as everyone else.  She thought as she approached.  Finally reaching the colt, she tried to give him a friendly look, but couldn't muster the strength to lift her cheek muscles enough to smile, which ended up causing a look of dread instead. "...Hi." She muttered, sounding just as exhausted as she looked.  The sudden heat of the room had physically weakened her, and it was starting to show.

Gulping, Sparkle glanced over at Lunar and Iron.  Next to Opal, those two seemed to be the scariest ponies here, especially as of recent.  Lunar hadn't seemed so bad before, but something seemed off about her now.  Sitting down on the ground, she simply avoided eye contact with them (and subsequently, everyone else) remaining in her own thoughts until it was time.

Azure was clearly uneasy as Opal approached, but took a deep breath, trying to compose himself finally. If there was one thing he admitted Nightshade did right, it was keeping a level head.
"Um...hi..." He said, before turning to her. He was still quite scared, but with the increasingly sour atmosphere, he wanted to at least seem like a decent person. Plus, admittidly, I would be good to have someone like Opal on his side.
"So...why...do you think we...were all brought here?" He stammered, trying to start a conversation.

"...Lunar, who has the lowest points is in our group and Opal most likely wants you gone. But from the way on how shes behaving with her, there no doubt that an alliance is possibly being formed. I brought the truth or should I say, past back to haunt her as means of putting her on the edge to impair her smooth thinking and Lunar is the only having her keep her cool. You get where I'm going with this, yes? :l"

Sparkle stared on blankly, having no idea what was going on.  "Um...." she muttered, really confused.  "I-I mean, I think so, buuuut maybe you could explain it a bit further just in case?" She said, chuckling nervously.  She didn't really want to seem incompetent right now.

"Agreed." Nightshade nodded, before noting the entrance to the pantry.
"...Perhaps everypony would be in better spirits if we ate."

Sparkle seemed to perk up at the mention of food, suddenly distracted by the thought.  "Ooooh, there's food here?" she said, sounding excited.  Food sounded wonderful right now, and as far as she knew, she hadn't eaten since before she woke up in this place.

Opal simply watched, remaining silent.  She didn't really feel like eating right now.  And besides, back when she first fled to the mountain she had trained herself to go without food for weeks.

It looked like a huge, mostly empty metal warehouse, any step causing a loud echo. There were odd tables and chairs strewn about, and two doors with "Pantry" and "Rec Room" over them. It looked like a hastily put-together lounge.

Azure also looked a little perked up at the sound of food. On his own, he moved to the pantry door, it opening as he neared.
He headed down a bit of a twisting and turning corridor, before finally arriving in the HUGE pantry. He decided to wait for everyone else before touching anything, though.

Sparkle quickly followed suit, her excitement for a decent meal (or any meal) blinding her previous train of thought and causing her to forget about what Iron had said to her.  Once she reached the pantry, she gasped excitedly, running around like a little filly.

Opal had stayed behind, looking annoyed at the mare's almost puppy-like behavior.  Did it not occur to her that the food could be poisoned or otherwise?  Sighing, Opal remained silent, not wishing to speak on the matter.

Azure looked around, gobsmacked. This pantry was HUGE. As in, you couldn't see the end of it. It was one giant hallway.
Nightshade soon arrived too, and typically being less than happy.
"You two DO realize why there's so much food here, right?"
Azure did look confused, at first, but then his expression, once again, turned scared.
"How...how long are we gonna be here...?!"

Game perked as the pantry opened and the huge amount of food reached his nose. Slowly getting up from his spot the rounded canine waddled into the pantry after the ponies and explored.

Sparkle froze at this, overhearing the conversation.  The thought of them being stuck here for some long didn't even occur to her.  A sound that resembled a choke came from the blue mare.  Any words she may have had on the subject were scared right out of her.  All of a sudden, her legs gave out from under her, her body collapsing on the floor as if her legs had become jello.  She was still conscious, but her fear had taken over her limbs.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

Iron who had followed after the group glanced at the huge amounts of food and began to wonder why the hall was so large. It seemed large enough to feed an entire army. If that was the case then they were going to be here for some time. Upon seeing the fainted Sparkle he only stared at her. She still hasn't answered.

Sparkle twitched, looking shaken up.  Her pupils had shrunk quite a bit, and she looked petrified.  "H-how long.... W-will be be here, exactly?"  She stammered, her voice a high pitched whisper mixed in with insane chuckles.  For whatever reason, the realization had gotten to her more than it should have.

"Oh no..."  Azure gasped, before looking around. He didn't know what to do. "Is...is anyone out there a doctor? Or a-a medic, or...?!"
Now, Azure's breathing had sped up: he didn't want what seemed to be the only nice person here going nuts. And that Raven person seemed to be quite fond of her, too. What if he thought Azure did this or something.
"Ahem."
He looked up to see Nightshade, holding out two bottles of water.
"You two, drink and calm down."
After slowing a bit,  Azure eventually began to drink as she continued.
"CLEARLY this is all just a precaution; the nature of this "game" means it could go on a long time. I can only assume this is for us should that happen, and believe me, I have no intention in staying here that long."

Sparkle twitched again, her muscles seeming to relax just a little.  She looked slightly less paranoid now, but was still a bit stiff.

Hearing the commotion, Opal reluctantly went into the pantry to see what all the ruckus was about.  She blinked in confusion to see the blue mare lying on the ground, twitching like some kind of squirrel.  Sighing, she walked over to the mare, uprighting her onto her hooves, and giving her a good shove.  "Oh, snap out of it already.  You and I both know you're fine," She said in a dull tone, sounding quite annoyed.

Sparkle stumbled backwards a bit from the shove, seeming to snap out of it.  She looked around, blinking in confusion.  "Er... What..." she muttered, looking quite lost now.  Opal let out an 'ugh,' and quickly exited the room with an exaggerated eye roll.  This mare was really starting to get on her nerves.

Sparkle stood completely still, her large, innocent eyes locked in a blank stare.  She had no idea what had just happened.

Game, waddled off on his own and explored the foods, finding little name tags on certain parts. Walking past the wolf was was sure that he recognized the names, but paid them little attention. Until he found his own name however. There was no way they could have known his name without talking to him, but he paid little attention to the thought as he looked the items adorning the shelves.

Pie.

Azure watched Sparkle wander off, irritated a little.
"I helped, y'know..." He thought, feeling under appreciated. And from working for Nightshade, he definitely knew what being underappreciated felt like.
Shrugging it off, he began to wander, too. Taking a closer look, one would be shocked at the amount of variety here. Ice cream, foreign foods, canned foods, fish, sweets, ham, parma ham, pizzas, cake, hayburgers...
A long way down the hall was an assortment of cooking facilities, as well.
"Heh...if we weren't kidnapped, held hostage, and being watched by a total psychopath, this might actually be a nice place to stay..."

Sparkle bit her lip, glancing back at Raven.  "Gosh, I dunno..."  She sighed, looking a little sad now.  "I mean, he seems really nice, I just... I had no idea he thought of me like that."

Sparkle paused for a moment.  Raven seemed like a really nice stallion, and she did like him, but she hadn't really thought of him in a romantic way.  She didn't want to hurt his feelings either though...

"...Was I 'leading him on'?" she asked, looking concerned.  If she had been, she certainly hadn't meant to.  She felt kind of bad about it now, if she had accidentally said anything or acted in a way that implied that she might have liked him...

Sparkle's concern grew deeper at this, her expression shifting to one of worry and deep thought.  She didn't want to hurt Raven, but she didn't want him to be mislead by her either...

Opal was shocked by the sudden flashes of light and vanishing of two players.  "Great, now i'm without an ally again..." she muttered to herself, looking frustrated.  She would have to do this alone, it would seem.
