I have 2 questions:
What exactly is the story like?
What does "headcanon" mean?

Well the story starts off kinda like the life threads usually are but then turns into an adventure RP.
I'm surprised you're unaware. Headcanon is one's belief of what is true in something such as the indoctrination theory for the Mass Effect series. It's not proven true nor false but some people believe it to be true so it's headcanon to them.

I don't really wanna spoil too much...um...the main character will advance through magic until they are strong enough to take on..something...really hard...

And yeah, I just didn't know what headcanon was because I never really encountered much with something like that. The only such thing I know of is in the MLPFIM season 4 preview with Nightmare Moon, people not sure if it's a flashback or if it's actually happening.

Yeah.
So...we're waiting for Blobking and...someone else...to start the first quest.

Rain started his day, and set a favor possibility for the main character's beginning.

So I'm going to wait for Blob to say he's ready to continue and 2 other people before we resume the story beyond where we are now.
I HIGHLY recommend that everyone join up with Blobking's party before we continue because this is where the adventure part comes in.
