I think she should, but at the end of the Friendship is Magic series. It would suck if she had to leave in the middle of the show.

I think she would demand to still live in Ponyville, and just take occasional trips to perform in races, go to meetings, whatever. She would probably even invite the other five to go with her on some of those trips.

That'd be kind of a cool episode. Rainbow Dash, finally part of the Wonderbolts, takes her friends on a trip with her so she can attend to Wonderbolt duty while spending time with her friends. They stay in an awesome hotel. It'd be especially cool if the episode took place in a town or city we haven't seen yet.
