Spring is coming! The Winter Warm Up quest is now active, and will be available until April 13th.

New features
  • Added equipment pages that allows quick switching between different sets of equipment
  • Added progress bar for collecting from farming spots
  • Winter hat will try to fit on pony's mane (experimental feature)
  • Added the ability for Cinema Camera to follow your pony by using the command /cc 2
  • Added lag compensation to make skills hit mobs more reliably
  • Added client side prediction of skills' cooldown and energy cost
  • Added target button to mobile UI with option to clear target if held down
  • Distance to mob now plays a role in mob aggro calculation

Map updates

Improved the visuals of the Ponydale Library:
  • Added day/night cycle
  • Added light switch
  • Added light source to lamp near entrance
  • Changed the windows to be transparent
  • Added skybox to 1st and 2nd floor
  • Added light switch to 2nd floor
  • Added day/night cycle to 2nd floor
  • Added new music to Ponydale Library at night
  • Added mirror to Ponydale Library 2nd floor

Improvements to Ponydale Boutique:
  • Enabled day/night cycle
  • Edited positions of windows to better match texture
  • Edited model to include holes for windows
  • Fixed some issues with the cloth / shelf models
  • Added light switch
  • Made lamp interactable
  • Added sound surfaces

General improvements
  • Items that occupy multiple slots will now appear on all applicable slots on the character panel
  • Improved world texts facing camera readability near corners of view
  • Allowed cc in Dig Site again
  • Renamed the setting "Disable behaviours in distance" to "Disable distant visual effects"
  • Improved crossfading in the Ethereal Sunset main menu theme
  • Headlook now works with the sitting animation
  • Headlook will now try to look at the target's head rather than the entity itself
  • Clicking and holding now immediately lets you rotate the camera instead of waiting for a short delay
  • Improvements to NPC following in Werepony in the Evershade quest
  • Item colors now transfer during crafting
  • Changed hitbox of Dragon Breath attack to better reflect its visuals
  • Added some missing mane and tail icons
  • Added icon for the Sunflower Oil item
  • Hotkeys can now be cleared to reset back to the default binding
  • Hotkeys settings menu now contains all hotkeys
  • Hotkeys settings menu will now hide race specific keys not relevant for your character
  • Updated colors of skill tooltips on mobile to make them easier to read
  • Removed the "You have fainted" announcement
  • Updated the description of Conflagration Circle and it's upgrades
  • Keeping players together is now prioritized more when changing to a new map


Fixes
  • Moved Evershade spawn point further away from teleport point
  • Fixed pony legs moving when standing on moving objects
  • Fixed Waterfall Cave in Heartlands being inaccessible during Winter
  • Fixed a couple of floating trees in Heartlands
  • Fixed "Disable behaviours in distance" setting having no effect
  • Fixed default stats not applying correctly in some cases
  • Fixed taunt amplification of Jeering Shout not working for dps effects
  • Fixed farming points not being properly accessible
  • Fixed skill cooldown UI not being cleared after moving a cooling skill on the hotbar
  • Fixed inventory slots becoming unusable after combining two stacks of items
  • Fixed extra inventory slots appearing if the inventory is opened too early
  • Fixed Home Field Advantage radius not displaying correctly for other players
  • Fixed quest marker arrow sometimes pointing into the ground
  • Fixed unharvested crops being deleted if you disconnect mid harvest
  • Fixed being able to drag out empty slot from inventory
  • Fixed item icon disappearing when dragging worn item to hotbar
  • Fixed weather being reset on server restart
  • Fixed ascending while swimming not working properly on mobile
  • Fixed NPCs in Werepony in the Evershade quest sometimes not spawning
  • Fixed room swap dropdown being unavailable in some cases
  • Fixed an issue where some flying and weather abilities would miss their targets
  • Partially fixed NPCs sometimes floating while walking over the ground

All I get when I try to run it is "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application."

You haven't abandoned Win 7, have you?




It takes so long filling out the anti-bot stuff that it expires and you have to do it again!

You haven't abandoned Win 7, have you?

Same problem, Win 7 user. Same error code. Can't launch game.

Also I noticed D3D12 folder in the game directory, does it mean it now require direct x 12 and modern video card? I hope not.

Hey there,

Much as I hate to be the bearer of bad news, support for Windows 7 is indeed no longer support as of the most recent version.
That decision was less so on our side. As we try to keep up with the latest Unity versions, the latest upgrade has removed support for Windows 7, which we were not aware of at the time. This is a Unity restriction, and out of our direct control. We are planning to update the post accordingly.

As for this - no, not exactly. It is part of the folder structure now, indeed. However, support for other APIs such as DX11 or Vulkan has not been dropped.
