The combat / exp system was considerably nerfed in an update some time ago. At a lower level, stored strike is generally your best bet should you be able to land a couple hits in first. Even at 100 stacks, it might not be enough on it's own.
You could also use triage or regenerative aura-- alternatively go grab some pies and spam-click them for healing in the midst of battle. There doesn't seem to be a consistent way of fighting dragons anymore, as their range seems to be different to what their fire attack suggests. Even as a level 50 myself, I still have trouble with them without the use of stored strike sometimes...

You'd have to do that through the forum itself. If you click your username in the top left corner (when logged in), click account settings from the drop-down menu and you can change your password from the prompts in there. You will need your old password in order to do this, however.
Though I'm not sure if usernames are recoverable... Should it be the same as your guest name, you'll likely be fine anyways

Back at it again with more horse shenanigans! First up, a couple of photos from the Royal Guard Try-Outs. The princesses address the crew...
In which Maplesweet hijacks Equestria and turns April Foals into Maple Foals; we had a heck of a time trying to find all of them!Though it was a shame that they weren't in some of the more genius places like in the Evershade's poison joke...
One of these Maplesweets doesn't look like the others...
And to top it all off, there was no better way than to spend the night relaxing at the cottage with the others.

Heya guys! Been a while. Haven't had much reason to play for a while, so I hadn't thought to take as many screenshots between now and January... D'oh. I did get two from the Winter Equestrian Games, however! One was from when I was helping to test if foal curling worked, and the other was a flight race line-up...
And today I did a bit of running around in Cantermore. Either I'm mistaken, or it seems like there's a couple of things we may have missed before...

If in doubt, check the wiki out! Here's a page of all the obtainable pets in game at the moment.
Note that the turtle quest is for animal talent earth ponies only and the dog is obtained by answering 'It sure is. What're you going to give me?' to Astral when her quest is nearly complete.
Pets are unfortunately not tradeable, so if you miss out or accidentally delete them, you won't have the option to get them again later unless you make a new pony.

According to the thread with the winners on it, it's either something to do with it being a low priority or there's presently nobody on the team who can see to it.
What I don't understand is that it's something that has been left in the dust after 2016 ended. It's been far more than enough time to model and rig the models, which supposedly nobody on the team is active to be able to do it. This however seems false, as scarves have a rig similar to how jiggle physics in mane work.
To call them 'not a priority' after having more than three years to make and implement them, in my opinion, isn't good enough. But that's just how things seem to be. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Happy belated new year! Got some more screenshots to post. This one was from an impromptu camp session!
The great thing about LOE is that meet-ups and fun tend to happen randomly. Sometimes you'll even run into those things without even realising it, like the three kings of horsetube claiming their throne...

The level 50 rock golems are supposed to drop both ores; for some reason they've been bugged since the Nightmare Night update and don't register a defeat-- thus not dropping loot or giving exp.
Alternatively you could try the dragons, they do drop alicium ore but not elementium.

More people tend to frequent the Amareicas servers, though I can't speak for average times that they're on because it varies. Europonia tends to be quiet as far as I've seen; it's also frequented by Russian players.

Open up your inventory, right click the item in question and if it has a 'colour' option, you can recolour it. If the item lacks that option, then it can't be recoloured.

Lots of things going on lately! Exploration shots, small gatherings and even Melody Sweetheart's birthday party!-- Or one of them. I was asleep for when the party resumed a few hours later into the night. Timezones, right? 
Last night was Worldwide LOE Day! I couldn't stay through all of it, nor could I keep an eye on the chat after some time. I was very sleep deprived, PONI would know.
Also spotted Ellowee sporting some unique armour...

Onwards to more adventure! The Kirin empire seems to have invaded Sugarcube Corner and replaced their blender with something prettier...

Did some more exploration last night of the new update! Turns out the dig site has an entire inside just waiting to be unturned... I'm pretty sure it's still being excavated, though!
Since some people may not want to see it just yet, I'll add a spoiler section for the exploration screenshots of the dig-site.
And some general shenanigans around Equestria, mostly to do with toying with the mobs:
Although my fun got cut pretty short.
I don't feel so good.
Meanwhile, Ash Flow finds the smallest banner ever and has a pillow fight with a living bush over whether leaves or feathers are the best option. (Of course, it's feathers without a question!)

Hey, look! I'm posting a thread update on time this time!
Happy Nightmare Night, everyone! Last night the game updated and many new changes were thrown into the mix. With renewed enthusiasm, I took a couple screenshots as I explored around with Berry Shade.
Though I couldn't explore as much as I'd of liked to, since the costume contest and party was on the same night!
It was a lot of fun seeing people bantering back and forth. Lots of folks turned up and it was amazing seeing all the creativity in the room! I hope you all had as much fun as I did, at least before I had to go to bed anyway. I was pretty tired at the 1am mark...

So firstly I'm gonna post some waaay overdue photos from the anniversary event. First off, we have a couple of shots from the talent show!
Then a group of ponies waiting excitedly for the airshow...
But while we weren't looking, Ponydale got overrun by bunnies!
And here's a shot from after the running of the leaves, where everyone was so exhausted after that long hike that they just flopped to the ground.
Aaanywho, I'll be attempting to get back into the documentation of day-to-day shenanigans and events, but at a more relaxed pace to prevent burn-out (hence the hiatus :X). So watch this space, I'll post some shots at the start of November to commemorate the end of Nightmare Night!

May I suggest an update to the notifications system? So that maybe warnings could appear on the right side of the screen much like trading requests, in case a whisper was missed. Notifications should need to be disabled manually so that they're easier seen. Not everyone pays attention to the options of the bottom right corner. 
Alternatively, a backlog of sorts could be provided by sending a message to a user through the forums or a direct email. These could provide a screenshot of the offence, including where a mod has given a warning and then why that particular action is against the rules. This is not an instant way of warning users, only for people to be able to have evidence should they be banned in the future or for whatever other reason.

"They should be up today or sometime tomorrow!" I say as I completely forget to upload them... So here we are, some of my shots from the Festival of Lights! Thankfully there hasn't been much action for me to screenshot recently, so the anniversary will give me something to catch up with.
Couple of things I suppose I wanna do for when tomorrow rolls around, well... For one, I definitely need to update my signature. That design for Even is quite outdated by now!
Speaking of designs, I was thinking about making an art thread for requests. Maybe could set up a ping-list on it, do one thing a week... I need time to think about it, but opinions of others would be really helpful!
