Checkmate nodded his head.  Pleasure to meet you...do you need anything?  Food, transportation, or something else?

A snack would be nice, please. she smiles.

Checkmate nodded, setting the small pony on his back and walking inside.  I'm afraid I'm not the best cook...does a salad sound fine?

It sounds great! You know I hardly ever have anything beyond a single fruit?

[Checkmate]

Checkmate nodded.  I would've guessed that you didn't eat much.  Checkmate quickly made a normal sized plate of salad, and a much smaller serving on a tea saucer, placing the latter in front of Sanny.

Predestine watched the stallion
walk back inside the diner.
Nodding once, she placed the
figure back into her bag and
headed toward the front door
of the diner.
Excuse me
Predestine said as she
past by Joystick. She slowly
walked into the diner and
picked a table to sit at.

Sanny claps her hooves together seeing the meal placed in front of her.
This looks really good!
She sticks her face in the bowl, eating rather un-lady like.

Sweet slowly made her way back to the diner on the beach. On her back were saddlebags packed to the brim,
and in her teeth she slowly dragged a large oblong object wrapped in burlap material.
Her neck was starting to ache from the position it had been stuck in while dragging the object.

About halfway there, she carefully set the object down and stretched her neck muscles.
She panted softly and was sweating heavily from the strain of carrying such a heavy load all at once.
Man, this thing is heavy! But at least I'm almost there. she thought.

After a few moments of catching her breath, she picked up her parcel and continued her trek to the diner,
leaving a large tread mark in the sand behind her.

[Checkmate]

Checkmate nodded, having heard the bell above the door ring.  He leaned his head into the room and saw a strange mare.  Hello..if you're here to eat out, I'm afraid we're not open.  That said, I have some salad if you'd like.

Predestine looked a bit shocked
to hear it wasn't open. Sheepishly
she said,
My apologies sir. I just needed
to get out of the sun for a bit.
Its kind of bright and my eyes
aren't used to it yet... A salad sounds
great, thank you.
She turned and smiled at Checkmate,
then looked down at the table.

Finished with her salad, Sanny gently taps Checkmate's back.
I'm done with this now, thank you.

Checkmate nodded, levitating the plate into the sink and making a bowl for Predestine, levitating it to her.

So...you both live and and serve ponies in this place? I was thrown out of a store when I tried to sleep in it.

Sweet dragged her hooves tiredly across the porch, her head hung low, dragging her parcel along the ground.

She paused before the door, her stance wide to keep herself from tipping over. She tiredly kicked the bottom of the door,
too worn out to knock properly.

She blinked away the black spots clouding her vision as she waited for somepony to open the door.

Integument walked into the diner, taking a seat, unwillingly wasting away his last free day to roam.

Somewhat..it's not a diner anymore.  Checkmate opened the door, immediately helping Sweet inside.  Sweet, you rest.  Sit down, now.

Not anymore? Is it all these ponies that are here?

Predestine ate the salad quickly.
She smiled as she finished her
bowl. Letting out a happy
sigh, she pulled out two pony
figures: one wood and one stood.
She placed them on the table
and stared down at them, nodding
once in a while.
