I tried googling it for about two minutes.
I just realized my failure. From time to time. Still in the tutorial, nearing the end. Still not sure what I'm going to specialize in. Definitely nothing that's really physical. I may have an ungodly stamina, but my strength is so low I've yet to meet a person who can't beat me at strength (who's actually near me in level)
Probably going to pick one of the more intellect based ones, sciences.
Why did I have to pick that one trait that makes me have such high stamina, but not be able to run for more than a few moments?

You should probably try training your Strength and Endurance stats to help with that.
Believe me. I know intelligence-based classes are rare and hard to play. The developers need to buff them IMO.
Life? Can't say I know it.
But there's this neat MMORPG called Outside, which was apparently made my the same people who made IRL.

I don't know if IRL and Life are the same game, but they might be similar.

Tell me about it.
Did any of you found out how to have a partner for questing, I fail at it every time, I fear it may be a bug.
Oh yeah, I'm familiar with that one. Lvl 22 in it. Not quite sure what to do next in it though. I'm currently doing quests to gain dollars so I can get my character into a guild or school to upgrade more stats efficiently, though I'm not quite sure which one to go for. Pretty lame, but I guess better late than never...
My stats right now are pretty basic, the AMB(Ambition) stat started to increase after some S.EST(Self-esteem) training. Kinda happy about that, but my progress has been slow going for actually getting where I need my character to be. Dollars are rediculously hard to obtain. And even more difficult to keep what with the games crazy economy and the prices of potions and equiptment.

It's rough when they drop you need to remove things from your inventory to get more. And if you lose too much, you're forced to change class to 'Hobo'.
And I hate beggars in this game. At this point, it's practically become a common class that some people
want to play.
If this game allowed multiple character slots, I'd try one just to see what it's like.
I have a plan to work on my crafting and sell stuff to other players.
Real Life can be hard and confusing at times, though. And some players get to do quests and see things that most others don't.
I hope I'm doing this right.
I botched my character a bit in this. I'm lvl 20, though, so i won't give up on him. XP. I tried to be a bit well rounded, only really expanding my Intelligence and Dexterity stats more than my average. this just led to a lot of "you can't do this yet" moments. but whatever. The Int/Dex bonuses i can get make up for it.
i tried specializing in Engineering, figuring it'd be fun, but that didn't turn out well. didn't really fit my play style. now i just gotta get xp and funds (which are a pain to come by) so i can re-spec. probably gonna go with a social science. maybe Psych.
I went with Psychology for fun as one of my courses in the optional tutorial stage. It turns out to require a better Memory stat than I have. I'm not good with keeping up with a dozen things that're similar but different. I just lose track with 'em and fumble the xp. I haven't gotten much xp in the area of Studying either. I never needed it.
Stubbornness. :/ I don't need Studying, and most of the time, I don't need potions. I tend to rely on myself and avoid using potions to recover health. I always have. Sometimes when I was at a much lower level, I'd pour potion down the sink and rinse it away when no one was looking. Though, there have been a couple of times when I've been afflicted with a status effect that I couldn't get rid of without potions, in which case I used them willingly.
I appear to be suffering from a rather nasty little bug.
I keep on trying to have at this project, and as of late it isn't even checking to see if I can actually get to work on it. Instead I'm always shunted off to some nearby distraction.
I checked my stats and I shouldn't be having this problem at all.
Ima give it a try.. at some point :3
It sounded good so i gave it a try...
One problem tough, it crashes every 2 minutes :l

You might want to get a better PC rig to run it. Check your processors.
The fatigue system really bothers me. These small barking mobs keep waking me up every hour and I seem to have lost some stats because of it, and while I was trying to sleep it seems I had a stomachache status effect for a little while, it's cured now but not before costing me some fatigue points. I can't seem to get the nap skill to work correctly either.

The nap skill for me just doesn't work right. Sure, I can nap, but if I'm not suffering from some sort of illness or lack of sleep I wake up with the Sore Throat and Headache debuff.
Sleep doesn't work well either, though it's probably because of the traits Active Imagination and that one trait I mentioned earlier. Once I'm asleep I'm a brick. I think I found a clever way to combat it.I imagine I'm trying to fall asleep with one of the anthro versions of the mane six.
What? It works.

I dunno. No one of doctor class has assessed me for any such traits in years, so the only trait I know of right now is ADD.

The tutorial is harder these days, as well as class changes. However, everything else is much easier. I mean, consumption items are better, healing items are more powerful, and the level cap is higher than before.

Yeah but making those things so easy made the game too mainstream, there are just to many players.
Closing in to level 19 soon, in fact, in 3 days. Finished my basic tutorials last year and now entering the advanced ones about Energy tech and god are those hard, can't say I did much training either though, so I might be at fault for that. I probably have high INT and WIT statuses, or so does say my mother, but my DEX and STR are at sub-zero levels, definately, never trained those. Well, waiting for my extra level soon and see what can I do with tutorials and hopefully I will be able to enter an appropriate guild in the future to help me do quests and earn some money.

I'm in somewhat an agreement here. The game needs more servers IMO. Earth Server is getting way overpopulated.
I am now training :O
I still can't figure out how you win this game... >:O
Yes, Earth Server is way overpopulated. And they really haven't added many other servers, either. In fact, the Earth server is basically the only server ever used. And the costs are pretty high, it's very hard to buy some things if you don't get a really good class.
Still not able to find a partner, though I heard there is a DLC called "Love" but it removes itself after an hour. What a rip off.

I've never been in a boss fight.
I've come fairly close with this one though. Several times.
The last few quests in the quest chain can be so difficult.
There's lots of competition out there on who can be the best at what class, though I'm not fond of straight PvP; whether it's a 1v1 skirmish or specializing in it for massive guild wars.
And then there's the Thief class, whose mere existence is enough to cause paranoia. More and more players around me are speccing into that...
ever notice how levels one through eighteen are almost always the same for the Education quest chain?

It can be exciting, though, if you find enough easter eggs and have enough random encounters. Things got pretty interesting for me starting with Part 9 of the Education quest chain. It started getting a little too intense by Parts 11 and 12, though, especially when we ended up with more hostile players in Part 12.
Lots of violence and battles, and one player actually brought a gun to the stage early one morning and tried to chase down two other players with it. Luckily for them, one of the Criminal Justice teachers was duel-classing as Teacher and Police, and she scared him off. She was awesome.
and the player didn't get banned or his inventory deleted?
I dunno what happened to him. He ran off and had escaped before the mods got there. Rumor had it, though, that he was a member of a guild from the east side of town.
I tell you, guild wars can be dangerous, especially if it's among players in the Education quest line while they're in an Education zone. :c
some of those guilds should be banned, imho
Mhm. Even their recruitment is violent. They spent a whole week having new recruits start PvP with random players, in the Education zone. >.<

I wish I could hack it to remove that. Forever.
Fortunately for me, I'm that guy where almost everyone he actually knows will stick up for him, despite how annoying he is.

I really hate advertisements in this game, too. Do you have any idea how many of them there are? You can't use anything high-tech without a spammer getting to you.
I believe there are mods to remove them, but there are times where you're just limiting yourself.
it's almost like they're TRYING to alienate their playerbase, with all those ads.
Good thing I downloaded the adblock+ add-on. Never need to deal with ads again.
Though some places get around that by trying to guilt me into removing it, using things in place of the ads.

Gotta find that sometime... meh, too lazy at the moment xD thanks for the tip.
Yep.... ads and spam.... absoltely horrible! Lucky I've downloaded spam blocker and ad blocker.... unfortunately, rarely, they can still actually get to you because of hackers. I once had my account hacked by an ingenious hacker.... the ordeal is over now, luckily.
You know the whole dream thing they have in this game?
I think I'm glitching or something. I always have the "Lucid Dream" status effect when in a dream, and sometimes it pops up for a few moments when I'm out of one. Though that usually happens alongside the "Out of Focus" status.
I think I encountered a glitch once, too. I was doing the daydream thing, but then the game glitched out and thought I was in sleep mode or something. I couldn't move, and the daydream got creepy. I managed to get out of the glitch when one of my cats was meowing at me, though.
Unfortunately, that glitch happens to me once. It was okay though, a friend shook me back to reality.
Another thing I hate is if your friend's account expires.... once it expires, you can't get it back.... :c
the very fact that accounts CAN expire, it's stupid. why can't they just make accounts last forever.
Server space? I mean, there are over 6 billion players. Imagine if accounts never expired. There'd be a lot more players, and I'm not sure the server could handle that.
make a new server? or transfer the excess to a new server. I thought not too long ago they were talking about trying it, and they even set up some basic services, or were going to.
Some players believe they will be transferred to another server.
The other servers are quite unsuitable for play. :s And it takes an awful long time just to get to the Mars server.

Starting to think the devs just kinda left us to our own devices and don't do much anymore. There are people who try to contact the devs, though.
Also transferring to another server will be expensive.

I thought the whole point was to GET to the new server, not the other way around.
And if they're just doing it to increase their Research skill, then they're a bit late on that. Some of the older players have already done it.
I think they're just trying to make more gold. Who knows, their long-term goals are supposedly to get to the new server, but at the rate things are going, it'll probably not be for a while, when all our accounts are long expired.

Well, it depends on the CPU. There are also some effects which can change sight.

The developers say to be patient. I recall a teleport system being developed, but they want it to be better than those other MMORPGs where you just say what place you want to go and you're there.
Think about it. In most MMORPGs, do you actually give the exact coordinate on where you want to go? No, you have a spawn point in a town or a dungeon. I think the Real Life developers want it better than that.
Plus, there'd be lots of security glitches with it. It could make the Robber class overpowered (at least the ones with a high INT stat), and people in the Law tech tree will be complaining in the millions.
Ah, yes, the robber class, that WOULD pose a problem. ANd of course all those cheaters with hacks. Well, I hope the update comes before my subscription ends...

I don't know if IRL and Life are the same game, but they might be similar.
omg I just simply love this.
They lied about half of those, and the other half they took out of context
no monthly fee? yeah right, maybe no out-of-world monthly fee, but everything you do in-game has charges, even eating!
massive world? good luck getting a mount, and even then you'll have to take HOURS to get ANYWHERE.
"incredible" AI? PFF, their AI sucks. The place is mostly run by players anyways. Of course, there are those who say everyone else is a bot.
Lots of character archetypes, and too bad if you're not lucky enough to get to play ANY of them. Pretty stuck where you start.
PvP? Would be nice, except that YOU NEVER EVER REGENERATE IF YOU DIE.
High resolution? Then why do I have to BUY equipment for the Eyeglasses slot just to see?!
lies, all lies >:(
*You've contracted Paranoia, please, go see a psychiatrist and pay him or her.*
*rages about having to spend coins on mental things*

lol
but seriously, they should fix that. what's even more silly is that it seems you only have to pay for these things if you're in certain locations, it's like you have to get a money loss debuff just to stand in one place.
Yes, it's almost impossible to make a profit.
although that doesn't stop those cheating merch guilds from scraping up 99% of the gold out there.

So we all together own the 1%.

Technically, we outnumber them.
Lets plan a raid...
I thought the mods didn't appreciate that? I don't want my account deleted or suspended just to protest the merching system
Knowing the flaws, it makes you wonder why you started playing in the first place.
I only remember I was pressured into playing...
because I was forced to? :\
Because the incredible magic pony told me to. ovO She told me something wonderful would happen, and it did.
The problem with this game is it has way too many money sinks (for those who don't know: A money sink is a system set in place for the server to eat money from the player, removing it from circulation completely). It needs a better system for income for the players to obtain their currency.
maybe you should powerlevel economics or politics and become a leader in a guild; that should make some waves for the better.
And you can do foolish things to money to remove it from the system as well. You DO NOT want to burn it...
unless you're one of those guild leaders. hax.
