I don't think Discord was ever inherently evil, just chaotic.

If anything, I just hope his relationship with Fluttershy is continued and explored.
I'm sick of every Fluttershy episode catering to her generic 'shyness' personality, it's getting old. Her task to reform Discord was the most interesting thing her character has done in recent memory. It gave me some hope that her character could actually go somewhere.
