White Pony

Long story short:

Started drawing back in early childhood.  Elementary school art teacher noted my artwork and became my tutor during my 5th and 6th grade.  He taught me college level courses in perspective, shading, concept structure and dynamic work.

Continued to dabble in art during Junior and High School.  Enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a computer technician in the submarine service for 12-years.  Left the military to use my GI Bill to earn a college degree in business administration.  Shortly after graduating I went to work with the Walt Disney World Company in Orlando for 17-years.  Left Walt Disney World and took a 1-year high level, tech-course in digital animation and visual effects.  Became a 3D Generalist-- meaning I can do everything related to 3D modeling, surfacing, texturing, rigging, fur & hair and animation; as well as visual and special effects.  3D program of choice is LightWave.

Currently self-employed as White Pony Productions.

My Little Pony background started back in the early 80's when I was placed in touch with my friend and mentor W. Washer.  We exchanged a lot of correspondence concerning storyboard work.  Since he was currently working as one of storyboard artists for Sunbow Productions Inc which in turned worked for Marvel Productions LTD. on the very first movie and TV series for My Little Pony, we exchanged a lot of art that used the MLP brand for instructional purposes.

I became total engrossed with the My Little Pony brand from the very beginning.  You could say I may be one of the original bronies long (est. 1983) before the word brony became a term for the MLP-FIM fans.

My Original Character's (OC) name, "White Pony," and design was created back in the early 80's from my introduction to MLP, from my mentor's storyboard work.  When someone tells me that my OC isn't original and/or a poor design... my laughter cannot be contained.   lol

Thank you three for the welcome and precautions of forum life.  I've already read the forum rules three time through.  Don't want to step on hooves.  Being a forum moderator of my own forum, I more than understand the frustration of folks who don't pay attention to, or even read, the rules.  Most of the rules are common sense and courtesy anyway.  You'll have no trouble from me-- I promise.  ;)

Already spent the entire open server weekend playing, exploring and getting to know ponies inside the Legend Of Equestria: (LoE.)  Of the 72-hours, I think I got about 10-hours of sleep during those three days.  I had so much fun that I decided to check out the forum and the topics especially dealing with the game.  Then spent the last three days exploring the various topics here.

As my time progressed within the game I noticed that I preferred to help heal others during their battles with the dragons, diamond dogs and/or those flying winged lantern thingees.  I'm not much of an adventurer.  Exploring the world was fun and extremely interesting.  I could see that the developers of the game put a lot of work and time creating the Legend Of Equestria.  My most sincere compliments go out to everyone who worked on the game.  Thank you.  <3

I can't wait for the next open server weekend stress test of the game.  I'll probably hang out near Ponydale's plaza in front of Sugarcube Corner, and help assist with any dragon attacks within the township.  I might hang-out at the Caffe Mocha shop in Cantermore-- I'm a serious caffe-mocha connoisseur.  I've also been debating the idea of being a healer unicorn for any teams that decide to help protect Ponydale and/or Cantermore.

Don't be afraid to talk to me... I don't bite.  ^-^
