Hello everypony. Along with having been introduced to this magic world of pastel talking horses, I've been introduced to the magical world of collecting merchandise of pastel talking horses. And in doing so I have discovered the joys of taking photos of them in places all over during my travels. None of this of course would've ever been possible with the support of the lovely Pumpkin Glow and the adorable 'Pocket Pumpkin' she provided me with.

I have been on a hiatus do to irl stuff for a while and occasionally getting on to enjoy the new update, but now I am back for real and it's time to resume parties and events. 
This Saturday, August 25 at 6PM GMT (12PM CDT) at the Cantermore Castle steps there will be a farewell party in honor of Mistletoe Charm. This is very important to her that you come and listen to what she has to say so please attend.
There is an upcoming major event, the LoE/MLP Anniversary Party (September 10 I think) and there will be a huge Wonderbolts Airshow that will be unlike anything you've seen before. Stay tuned here for more information about upcoming details.

Flutters, I want you to know that you are one of the reasons LoE is such an amazing place. I love seeing these ponies during events, at parties in SCC, and just around when I am doing random things or hangouts. It's fun to be able to see a character you recognize and to interact with them. You've really brought something special to LoE with all your hard work and dedication to this.
Also, having gotten to know you a little, I can say that you're an amazing person and it is great to have somepony like you in our community!

Well the Equestria Games for 2018 have officially passed and we'll be forgetting all about them soon. Well I hope we won't actually because hopefully there are enough memories and friendships that were created during these Games that will last for a long time. There were some very special moments and I think this event was a huge success for the Legends of Equestria community as a whole. I personally have made a lot of really great new friendships because of it.
But I want to say a couple of things here before we go and leave this topic for next year and move on to the next big event. First of all the official winners in case you missed it.
Silver Medal (Second Place): Ponydale
Gold Medal (First Place): Cloudopolis
Gold Medal (First Place): Crystal Kingdom
Thanks to all the teams having such capable and amazing athletes, the scores were very close and we of the Games Committee didn't feel it was right to try and break the tie in any way. Everypony deserved to taste victory. So congratulations to all the amazing ponies who competed in this year's Equestria Games.
As with any of the events we've done this wouldn't have happened without so much support from the community. I deserve only the tiniest bit of credit in actuality despite what you all may think. There is an incredible group of ponies who have worked very hard to come up with ideas, plan events, and help run them. This includes but is not limited to:
Melody Sweetheart who had the original idea to hold the Games back when we were just finishing the Gala. Without her this would never have happened and she lives up to her name everyday on LoE.
Sapphire Moonlight who did some of the original art for the Games, helped with ideas, gave the Opening Speech, and even participated as her OC Autumn Breeze. She is the best party assistant a pony could ask for.
Even Tide who created a lot of the original routes and maps for the Games events even though we had to change them later due to the Heartlands lag issues. They really did a lot to get the Games going in its early stages and created a great framework to follow.
Berry Shade who probably did more than anypony to get the Games going from helping in the early planning with ideas, volunteering to test events, running the early day Games sessions for our ponies of differing time zones, and just helping out in any way they possibly could.
Lens Flare who did a lot of the same things Berry did including helping with the early day sessions and also recording events for Youtube.
Gloomy Feathers for some great promotional art which we used to get this thing in the hands of the LoE Team.
Sweet Pencil who drew a Flag for the Games which was also incorporated into the art.
Pumpkin Glow who is the best trafficorn and best companion a pony could ask for. She helped encourage me through the entire Games and really gave me the energy and support I needed to never give up with running it. She also did a ton to help plan and test events and be a trafficorn for the actual races.
Blue Cloud who was there for all the events to be a spokespony and to do the start of race countdowns. He also entertained us with comedy torch lighting/extinguishing acts a the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
Clever who happily stood in to run the Unicorn Teleport and Triathalon events when I was unable to. She really saved the day and I'll always be grateful.
Wordsmith, Jet Black, and all the others who recorded Youtube videos of the Games.
The Team Captains: Sir Dead Puppy, Sunny Skies, Festive Cheer, and Woven who showed great leadership, organizational skills, and radiated the spirit of teamwork to lead their teams during this event. Seriously the Games would have been a huge mess if these ponies had not stepped up to help organize the teams.
And all the other ponies who played some part great or small in the Games, including but not limited to: MyaChan, Aquatic Showers, Summer Blade, CMC Scootaloo, Rosalia, Mysterfail, Ancient Quills, Sky Arrow, Silver Star.

Ok everypony after some work, we had to revise the routes for the remaining events due to the Heartlands Dryad-Lag Incident. They will now be held in Cantermore (Unicorn Teleport and Earth Pony Triathalon) and Ponydale (Cross Country and Relay). Here are the maps:
Unicorn Teleport Race:
RULES:
1. 3 Laps around the course
2. If you fall you start the current lap over
3. You may skip buildings
4. Have fun and be a unicorn
Earth Pony Triathalon:
RULES:
1. First part is running up the hill and doing parkour across rooftops
2. At the end of the rooftops, drop down meet second pony who will run to the river
3. At the river, meet third pony who will swim to the end and climb the bank to the finish
4. No bunny hopping during the running portions of the race, hopping up the river is allowed.
All Pony Cross Country Race:
RULES:
1. One Lap, every pony can compete.
2. Pegasi, Unicorns, and Earth Ponies will be judged separately due to abilities affecting performance.
All Team Relay Course:
RULES:
1. Earth Pony starts, runs (no bunny hopping) to intersection down the hill from the Clover Cafe.
2. Switch to Pegasus, who must fly below the building roofs up the street, turn at the train station and meet the next pony where the road splits toward the Fountain Tree.
3. Switch to Unicorn who can use teleports or run back to the archway near Town Hall.

Due to all the lag issues incurred on Monday in the Heartlands, the Cross Country and All Team Relay events will now be rerouted to Ponydale. We are looking into new routes for other events. Please stand by for these and for updated maps.

To everypony on behalf of the Games Committee, I want to apologize for the delay and eventually cancellation of today's events in the Heartlands. There was an issue with the dryads that was causing a massive lag spike and the game devs are working to fix it as we speak. This said, we will be moving the schedule around to give them the maximum amount of time to work on it.
Tomorrow's events will be the Cloudopolis Events, so please meet at the Cloudopolis Flight School at 12PM GMT (Early Session Flight Race) or 9PM GMT (Late Session Flight Race and Airshow). We hope to see you there and hopefully things will be much better. Thank you all for your patience, let's make the Games amazing and a memorable experience for all.

A little late and I apologize, I will do better with rules clarifications in the future, but here is the info for the events today:
For the later session please meet in Midway Village at 9PM GMT. The All Team Relay will begin 15 minutes after that time:
1. Earth Pony on hoof to the wheat farm area.
2. Pegasus on wing following the roads to the Cloudopolis gates.
3. Unicorn on hoof or teleports back to Midway.
No shortcuts, bunny hopping, performance enhancing items, or other cheating.
Following this, we will head to the Pumpkin Farm for the Unicorn Teleport Race:
Unicorns teleport from one spot to another in order to get around.
1. No moving is allowed except for turning on the spot or adjusting the camera.
2. The competitors must at the least teleport to each of the 4 largest structures on the farm.
3. If a competitor falls to the ground, they must run back to the start location and begin their lap again.
4. The race will consist of three laps around the farm.

Yes it was my thought that if any ponies who weren't participating in the race wanted to battle the dogs/lanterns to help out the racers that would be amazing.

Fillies and Gentlecolts. The Equestria Games Committee would like to announce the first LoE Equestria Games. This is a celebration of the spirit of teamwork and the bonds of friendship throughout all of Equestria! This competition will feature a variety of events and all ponies young and old are welcome to join.
The Games will be held from July 22-28, with events occurring at 12PM and 9PM GMT. You don't have to show up at both times. The same events will be held at both times with the exception of the Pillow Tag and the Airshow Competition which will only be held at 9PM GMT on their respective days since these require more ponies and coordination ahead of time. The two times are so ponies in different time zones can still participate in the events.
Following the Opening Ceremony the schedule for the events is as follows:
Tuesday, July 24: Pegasus Airshow and Flight Race. - CLOUDOPOLIS (Meet at Flight School) Event Early Session at 12PM GMT, Late Session at 9PM GMT.
Wednesday, July 25: CK Earth Pony Hoof Race, Unicorn Obstacle Race. (Meet at CK Stadium) Event Early Session at 12PM GMT, Late Session at 9PM GMT.
Thursday, July 26: Pillow Tag Tournament. - HEARTLANDS PVP ARENA Event starts at 9PM GMT.
Friday, July 27: Earth Pony Triathalon, Unicorn Teleport Race. (Meet at Cantermore Fountain) Event Early Session at 12PM GMT, Late Session at 9PM GMT.
Saturday, July 28: All Team Cross Country Race, All Team Relay. - (Meet at Ponydale Town Hall) 7PM GMT.
Equestria Games Closing Ceremony - CK Stadium following last events.
Everypony is welcome to attend the events as a competitor. Ponies who aren't already on a team will be assigned to the third Crystal Kingdom team. You can check out my Planning thread on the forum for more information and maps of the race routes.

Regarding the unicorn teleport race. I'll be honest I didn't write these rules so I have very little idea of how it was intended to work. I'll try to get some definite answers but for now it looks like the farm teleport race is the preferred track. If the benches are hard to teleport to I'm sure we can be lenient.
Chrome, regarding the air race. I don't think there's an exact course you need to stick to. It will be up to the race to choose that and a mistake might cost you your lead so that's the strategy in what you do.

Chrome, these are good things to know. I'll pass them along to the event planning group. I assume for the lap 2 question that will be left up to the discretion of the racer. Maybe we'll have to change the finish location to a more solid platform.

We will be having another birthday party for Frozen Wing and Wizard Bee Bun on Sunday, July 15 at 8PM GMT (3PM CDT) so please come and celebrate these ponies.
Due to the overwhelming response for the games to be held the week of July 22-28 that will be the official date of the Equestria Games. The Opening Ceremony will be held mid afternoon (for Amareicans, late Evening for Europonians) on that Sunday, we will have an official time for you soon.
In the meantime we still need ponies to sign up to join a team so you can get to know your teammates and practice ahead of time for events. The Pegasi airshow definitely will require some level of practice and you may want to brush up on your teleportation for unicorns, flight stamina for pegasi, and climbing skills for earth ponies before the events. Also work on your best stealthy pillow techniques. Never fear though, if you show up to an event and have no clue what this teams thing is all about and want to join anyway, you can easily step into the event on any team you want, you just won't have the advantage of having trained.

Due to the overwhelming response for the games to be held the week of July 22-28 that will be the official date of the Equestria Games. The Opening Ceremony will be held mid afternoon (for Amareicans, late Evening for Europonians) on that Sunday, we will have an official time for you soon.
In the meantime we still need ponies to sign up to join a team so you can get to know your teammates and practice ahead of time for events. The Pegasi airshow definitely will require some level of practice and you may want to brush up on your teleportation for unicorns, flight stamina for pegasi, and climbing skills for earth ponies before the events. Also work on your best stealthy pillow techniques. Never fear though, if you show up to an event and have no clue what this teams thing is all about and want to join anyway, you can easily step into the event on any team you want, you just won't have the advantage of having trained.
