"Seven ponies wakes up in the middle of an orchard with bite marks on their necks, a pair of longs canines in their mouth and no memories about the moments prior the loss of consciousness. They soon realize they're still in the middle of the metamorphosis to becoming batponies and they have 9 hours until dawn. The only way to survive this nightmare is to find the culprit who assaulted the group before time runs out."

The moon was high in the sky as Laurel Crown, a young student, wakes up with tired eyes, like he has slept for a very brief period of time.
As soon as he rises, he looks around with mixed feelings of anxiety and disorientation. Tall trees, with barks black than charcoal due to the lunar rays being covered by dark green leaves, surrounds the little brown pony in what appears to be an orchard.

"Where the Tartarus am I?"

In the moment where he put his hoof and started massaging his neck, he feels a weird sensation on tact: something like two tiny holes. How did he got such marks? He asks himself trying to explore in his memory in order to understand what happened before he waked... but no memory came to explain the reason behind what assumes to be bite marks.
Laurel Crown bite his lips... only to find that now he had long and sharp canines.
Another revelation lead Laurel into shock: other six ponies (four unicorns and two pegasi) were on the ground sleeping like the earth pony did moments ago. Being more afraid than ever, he decides to inspect a yellow-green unicorn with golden mane wearing two weird horn-like hairpieces.
He has two bite marks like the brown pony and long canines.
Laurel Crown, seeing as how the other ponies, upon further inspection, have the same bite marks and canines as him, decide to awake everypony, starting from the yellow-green unicorn.

"Hey? Are you okay?"

"Nnn... Go away, too early in the mornin'... Show starts later... Scram..." The unicorn had said, waving away the pony disturbing him as he then proceeded to feel around, likely looking for either a pillow or a sheet. Finding neither, he began to stir.
"Stealing my pillow ain't gonna start it sooner! Now, why don't..." The pony was now properly awake, though one couldn't tell just from looking at his eyes, for they were still closed. Despite that, he could still see just what exactly was wrong. "What." He said flatly, looking around to see the mess he'd apparently gotten himself into.

Groaning in discomfort, he pushed himself up onto his feet, massaging his neck upon noticing the weird feeling in that area. "Okay... That's different... Hey, pal, whatever your name is... Answer me this; Who, Why, and where?"
Before any answer could be given, the unicorn had inevitably pointed his hoof to his neck where the bite marks were.

Upon noticing the bit marks, he sharply drew in a breath at the sight, stiffening up for a moment before shaking his head and trying to calm himself down.
"Might as well add "What Happened?" to the list... Whatever I ended up having, I clearly had too much..."

The posts were edited because the mentioning of blood, even if that little, is too graphic for a family friendly forum which break the rule number 16 of the roleplay section regarding roleplays being family friendly. These forums are accessible to everyone at any age, hence family friendly. This means your role-plays can not include gore, adult situations, or violence.

For the time being, the roleplay can continue, but if situations like this one will happen again, we will take serious action.

A charcoal pony with a red and yellow mane groans softly from the heap he was left in by whatever creature that had attacked him and the other ponies. Grey eyelids pull back to reveal the fiery eyes of the pony, but quickly close once the painful light hits his weary eyes.

Carter hears other ponies talking to each other.

"Stop... I'll race you soon enough." said Carter. He turns over and rolls on his wing. Carter wakes up and looks around.

"Where the heck am I?" he says. He sees 6 other ponies around him. He feels a sharp pain on his neck. He touchs around his neck and feels a bite mark.

"Well I might as well get to know these ponies." he said. He walks over to 3 standing ponies.

*Marble looks at Carter secretly*
Marble : mabe he can tell me where am i?

"Might as well introduce myself." said Carter. He sees a pony eyeing him secretly from the side.

"Hello there my name is Carter, and I'm a really fast Pegasus." he said.

"Also where the heck am I?"  he asked looking around again.

Marble : ah well no use of hiding anymore i guess

Laurel Crown was more disoriented than ever.
Seven ponies who don't know each other, bite marks on their neck, weird canines... and strangely, he was able to look into the darkness like he can do while walking at noon. Maybe the other six ponies are able to as soon as they wake up.
Something is very fishy and yet the loss of memory impedes to understand the full image of the situation.
The only way to get out of this mess is to cooperate with each other but there are other things to do. For example, being able to turn into a team and how to get out os this nightmare.
Laurel, being the intelligent pony he is, decide to take the gamble and speak with a pretty loud voice so that the other ponies would listen.

"Well, colts... Now that you're all awake and without a hint of how where we supposed to be, looks like the only way to get out of this mess is to cooperate with each other, and the first step will be presenting ourselves and see if everypony have a connection between us. My name is Laurel Crown and I... don't know who y'all are."

He say it with an embarrassed face.

"Who are you calling a colt?" said Carter. He looked over at Laurel.

"Oh and By the way my names Carter. And I'm faster than everypony here." He said as he walked under a tree, flew up to a branch, and sat on it.

"We heard about that oh-so mythical speed already, thank you very much..." The unicorn had said, apparently to nopony in particular.
And then he noticed another funny feeling in his teeth, and ended up sticking a hoof in his mouth, feeling around in an attempt to see what was up.

He then almost immediately yelped as he felt something sharp, yanking the hoof out to see that it was, actually, perfectly fine.
"Fangs...? Oh, dear princesses, what did I drink...?" The stallion muttered to himself, before shaking his head.

"I am known as Grand Illusion, member of the Serégon family in Canterlot, working as a traveling performer and actor." The unicorn, Illusion, had said, bringing himself up to full height in order to at least attempt to appear dignified.

Blue finally wakes up.  "Where am I?"  He notices six other ponies, but recognizes only Marble.  "Who are you guys? What are we doing here?"

"Well I don't know who you ponies are or where we are... but we need to work together to find out what happened." Carter said. He got off of the branch and helps up the blue Pegasus on the ground. He pulls the Pegasus closer to him.

"Just so we are clear I'm the fastest one here... got it?..." he whispered to the other pony. He let go of the Pegasus and trotted to the other ponies.

The charcoal unicorn manages to get up onto all four hooves, though he's still behaving as if he was in pain, and has yet to make any attempt at communication with the other ponies.

"Looks like we got someone new in this little group." Carter said looking at the charcoal pony.

"Man I miss Blue Thunder, Dusk, Infinity, Venom, and Excalibur." he said to himself.

"Exactly how fast can you go?" Blue asked Carter.

"I can break the sound barrier instantly. Or I suppose I can break it in a few seconds." he said. (I am trying to tone down his speed.)

(well, that was quick. I was afraid that I was going to miss something X3)

"Hwwaaaa," Star Diver yawned as he slowly awoke from his slumber. "That was-"

He stopped mid-sentence. He felt cold, hard ground beneath him; he didn't remember going to sleep outside. His tongue rolled absent-mindedly in his mouth, and he felt something sharp.

"W-what's going on?"  he half wondered aloud as he tried to make sense of his situation.

"Now we have a full team I guess." said Carter, as he rolled his eyes.

"Gee, you're a lot faster than me."  He says to Carter.

Blue helps Star up. 

Carter just keeps walking around contemplating what happened.

"T-Thanks," Star thanked the pegasus helping him up. As he dusted himself off, he noticed that the pegasus was sporting fangs; he stiffened in fear.

"Hey buddy no need to fear we all have long teeth including you." says Carter to the aquamarine unicorn.

"Very well. Now that we are all here, it may be the perfect time to introducing us and start talking what happened." he says Laurel trying the voice of the reason.

Marble : i am Marble Star by the way and...Blue? is that you?

"L-Long teeth? Me? What are you talking about...?" Star trailed off as he noticed two bite marks on the pegasus's neck. Remembering the sharpness in his mouth, he lolled his tongue around, and felt it it again, but this time he also felt its shape : a fang. His neck started to pain him, as if it had been waiting until this very moment to let him know.  With great trepidation, he raised his hoof to his neck and felt a bite mark there.

"AAAAH! I'M A BAT PONY!" he flailed wildly.

"Well if you all didn't hear me before my name is Carter." he said. (Carter is one of those characters who loves to be in charge and trying to be better than everypony.)

"Batponies?"

When that word came out from the mouth of Star Diver, a connection has finally been made: the bite marks, the long canines and the ability to see in the darkness... Maybe it was obvious from the start but the panic and anxiety got the best on Laurel and didn't realized what has happened before losing consciousness.

"The blue unicorn is right. We are batponies... or at least, we are going to turn into those rabid ponies within a few hours and it's not a good sign."

"What in Celestia's holy name is going on?" Match says to himself, apparently making the same self-discovery as everypony else. Feeling more coherent, the charcoal pony raises his head to see the other six ponies huddled into a group. His stance was regal and refined by years of training and discipline. Finally addressing those around him, Match asks with a tone of absolute authority as he says, "By the authority of the Royal Guard, I urge you all to explain yourselves."

"And by authority of myself I urge you to be quiet." said Carter. He knows that saying that to a royal guard can get him jailed, but he honestly doesn't care. Plus he can outrun them pretty easily.

"I am in no mood for games pegasus," the guardsman replies, his patience dwindling.

"I-It's t-them," Star whimpered, holding his head in his hooves. "I-It has to b-be!"

"And I'm in no mood for your oh-so royal presence." he said. He can see that the guard was getting really ticked off. That put a smile on his face. He wanted to annoy him even more because he knew that the guard would never catch him.

Match's horn glows orange as he says, "Harassing a member of the Royal Guard while he is on duty is a criminal offence, so I suggest that you make an apology before I make an arrest."

"And I suggest that you get on duty and learn how to read the laws properly." he said. Carter was loving every second of this. The guard was getting ticked off, Carter was smiling. The only thing missing are his friends."Rule 13: Part 4: All guards who are not on duty the laws that apply to them when on duty do not apply."

Carter begins glowing orange as the Charcoal Guardspony begins to levitate him, immobilizing Carter with telekinetic force.

"You really think that is going to stop me?" he said. He fly's faster than the speed of sound and breaks out of it like it is nothing/ He lands right back where he was standing.

Star continued whimpering.

"Your magic can't harm me or hold me in place. I'm just too fast." he said. He was still loving every second of this.

As Match's temper grew, so did the intensity of his magic, and his next telekinetic grab of Carter was a much tighter, and much warmer. The Temperature within his telekinetic grasp had increased, making Carter feel like he was in a sauna.

"Gee your SO much more powerful now." Carter said sarcastically. He broke out of that one too.

"Alright, I've had my fun. Now can we PLEASE figure out where we are?" he asked.

Match's next spell wasn't a telekinetic hold, but a magical flare that lit up the sky.

"Is that an attack or a distress call?" Carter said. Curious if he should dodge or stand in place.

"I'm not even going to dignify that with a response."

((Though it is a signal.))

(is nopony aware of the nearby unicorn having a nervous breakdown?  :I)

"I-I don't h-hear them, I'm s-sorry!" Star blubbered.

Carter sees the unicorn having a nervous breakdown. "Here get up... Now pull yourself together." he said. He pulls up the unicorn.

"N-No, I-I c-can't, don't m-make me." Star was barely aware of his surroundings at this point.

Carter kind of taps him on the face (like a pull yourself together slap but as gently as possible) a bit with his wing.

"You good now?" he asked.

"The Guard should be here any second so we can begin a formal investigation about whats going on here, as well as a formal arrest." Match announces.

"H-Huh?"  Star said confusedly, realizing that he wasn't back in the compound. "I-I guess?"

(Sorry I got so far behind, I only just woke up, and I made my last post just as I went to bed.)

Marble : i havent seen you for so long blue...

"We don't even know where we are and you want to call the guard. We could be at the ends of Equestria for all I know!" said Carter. He decided to just join the other group to talk about what they remember.

Yeah, it's been a while.  But I want to know why we are here at this very moment!

"Well we can't just sit around and wait." said Carter. (Am I allowed to break the 4th wall?)

(Sorry for being late. I was playing with my band)

"Guys, stop bickering like little foals and let's think about a more important question here. When you were doing your little war, I've been thinking of what the bite marks are and why we have long teeth as a result. It may be obvious but there's no concrete proof it could be it: we got bitten by a batpony... a vampire batpony, to be exact."

Eyes shimmered in the darkness

*Marble looks at the audience*
Marble : its not what it looks like...

"At least we don't sparkle... I think..." Was all Illusion had to say about the news that he was now apparently a batpony, or Vampony, if you prefer. "But to be completely serious, It can't have been just a bite. If that was the case, why aren't there more batponies running around? Something really weird must've happened..."

He then shook his head. "I don't think the guard will be able to help us. Either they'll misunderstand the situation and/or they won't be able to fix it quick enough before something bad happens. And that's if they don't try to arrest us when they see the fangs! That's the way it always is in the books; Authorities are useless! No, if anything's to be done about this, we'll need to do it ourselves. Also..."

The unicorn had turned towards Carter at this point as his expression turned serious, marched up to him, and gave the Pegasus a fairly harsh slap across the face. "I honestly think I should've done that earlier. Seriously, pull an attitude again and we'll see how far it gets you on the road of getting back to normal on your own. I highly doubt anypony cares how fast you are, and the last thing we need is you starting more fights." [Annoyingly small rant: You can't simply break out of telekinesis by basically saying "He did it". That's just silly; If you're caught, you don't have ANY speed, nor can you build any up. Why nobody argued earlier, I honestly don't know. Before you mention it, being fast does NOT equal magic immunity. In my eyes, that's a poor explanation. The way I see it, you're about as immune to magic as a window is to a rock. ]

He then sighed, looking around. "Looks like an orchard, possibly farmland as well. It's very much possible we ended up in the farmlands near the town of Ponyville. Then again, an orchard is not all that much to go off of. We could still be just about anywhere on the map..."

Marble : where are we going exactly?

"I'm not so sure, Illusion... I read that Vampire Batponies are allergic to sunlight and a prolonged exposure could lead them to dust... literally. Maybe it's just a work of fiction but I really hope so because, according to the position of the moon, we have nine hours to find whoever bite us or else we won't even get out of our houses to smell the flowers. The first thing to do is to stay together. Nopony should leave the group for any reason. Now then... who is specialized in defensive magic between you?" Laurel asked to the four unicorns.

Marble : i am good at it

Carter gets slapped REALLY hard in the face. But he just turns his head back around and laughs. (Carter has been slapped many times before this.)

"Now that's what a royal guard is supposed to do!" he said, excited that the guard was actually doing what a royal guard should.

"What? You want me to pummel you or something?" Match says, now more seriously considering that idea.

"Depends on your definition of pummeling." said Carter. He really wanted to annoy him some more, but decided that if he wanted to get out of here he would need to gain the trust of this pony.

"Well what are we waiting for?" asked Carter.

*Marble chuckles*

Carter just continues to walk around.

Blue starts to pace around, unsure of what to do now.

Enough of Carter and Match arguing with each other, he stands between them.

"Guys! Stop discussing! We need to stick together"

Marble : so Blue how you been?

Star nodded nervously at the earth pony's statement.

"When this whole debacle is solved, that criminal is coming with me," Match states sternly.

I've been okay, what about you Marble?

Marble : i been okay... i missed you though

Carter rolls his eyes. He couldn't care less if he went to jail.

"Whatever you say. Honestly I don't care though." he said.

Marble : jail huh? not interested

"I missed you too Marble."  Blue gives Marble a hug.

"Ugh, we're wasting time, here!" Illusion suddenly said, rather loudly. He then pointed directly directly at Carter. "You can head up into the air and scout out the area, see where we are. Unless you want the other Pegasus to do it better... That's fine, too. You know what, I think I'll ask him instead..."

The unicorn turned, apparently going to ask Blue, just as he said he would.

Carter heard him saying that he would ask a "better" Pegasus to do it.

"I call dibs on scouting!" said Carter. He shot up like a rocket. He starts patrolling the area.

Marble : so blue where are we going?

"Nowhere!  It looks like I get to be the lazy one and not get a chance to do anything to help."  He says, seeing how Carter insisted on being the one to ask dibs on scouting before he could open his mouth to offer to do it or to help.

"Can anyone remember the events leading up to there abduction?" Match asks the remaining group.

Since he needed these other ponies trust, he needs to treat the guard with respect. He flies down to all of them.

"All clear!" he said. He walks over to the guard and bows.

"I apologize for my earlier actions, I had no idea where we were. If I have to go to jail, I will serve the time needed."  he said. He stood up.

"Prove to me that you are truly repentant over your crimes, and I might let you off with a warning," Match replies to Carter, his voice resuming it's authoritative tone.

"Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye! It's the only way I know how to keep a promise!" said Carter. He smiled at the guard hoping that this would be enough.

"Did you see anything? Landmarks, buildings, anything that might help us figure out where we ended up?" Illusion had asked. After whatever answer (or lack of) was given, he pointed towards Blue. "And you can apologize to him while we're at it, if you were serious about your other apology. I dunno what you said to him, but he doesn't exactly sound okay to me."

Then he began scratching the back of his head. "Partially my fault, too, tr- asking you for a favor first..."

"Um Sorry I guess?" he said to Blue.

"It's not your fault.  I need to learn to let others that are more qualified than me do things instead of me and keep my mouth shut."  Blue says with a sigh and a slightly angry tone of voice. 

"All I remember is going for a walk around Ponyville and then I woke up here with these bite marks and these fangs," Blue says to Match

Illusion gave Blue a concerned and somewhat guilty look. He wanted to say something, but really, what words would've made anything better? He couldn't think of any. Best to just the Pegasus cool off, and hope things don't get complicated.

"I was on the road..." The unicorn had said, deciding now was an appropriate time to answer Match's question. "I travel a lot, you see, and I don't do well on trains. I was actually on my way back home to Canterlot in order to pay my family a visit. The last place I remember being at before hitting the road was Appleloosa, and I do remember passing by Ponyville on the way home. Things get fuzzy from there, though."

Carter looked at Match. "Well I was walking down to my friend Venom's shop to buy a couple of his wares. Next thing I know I'm on the floor passed out! However there was a blurred figure behind me." said Carter.

Star shook his head.

"T-The last thing I remember was w-waiting to arrive in Canterlot for an, um,  i-interview."

"If I'm not mistaken, I was at the Canterlot Royal Library to take some books. I wasn't sick nor have some kind of disease butI felt so nauseated that I lost consciousness and the only thing I could feel was some kind of grasp on my neck. That's it!" Laurel realized something. "We lost consciousness because we were bitten by this mysterious predator."

"Really, now?" Illusion asked.

"It would have to have been pretty fast, wouldn't you think? Going from Canterlot to Ponyville in what seems to be one night?" He said, walking back and forth. "And that's before you take into account the stories we've yet to hear, who knows what happened there... And another thing; why us? Was it random chance at a moment we happened to be alone, or is there some other reason we were the ones to be bitten?"

The unicorn shook his head. "If we weren't left here all together like this, I would've indeed dismissed this as random chance. No, this happened for a reason, and we need to find out why it happened, and how to reverse it. Fast. I may have joked about being nocturnal in the past, but the last thing I want is for it to become literal."

"Good idea." said Carter.

"If you guys need me I'm going to be scouting the area ahead of us some more." he said. He flies off a couple feet away.

*Marble looks at Carter flying*

"And with him gone, we can continue to investigate the reason for our ailment. Obviously we were each targeted, but why? What's there to gain from having seven more vampire batponies around?"

Laurel nods.

"Alright. Here's my plan: We're going to split into three teams. Two ponies will have to stay here in order to wait for Carter to return while the other four will investigate the surroundings. One team to the north and one to the south. Since I'm not very strong or capable of fighting, I need one unicorn who is expert in magic. What do you think? Sounds like a plan?"

[If you confirm to do this, I'll give further instructions the next reply]

Marble : pick me i.m an expert

"I'll lead the southern team," Match quickly calls out.

"I guess I can lead the northern team"  Blue replies, hoping to be able to help in this sticky situation.

"If not, I'll wait for Carter to come back" He says with a sigh.

Marble : that depends if he comes back

"I'M BACK! Carter said.

"Everything in front of us is all clear!" he said.

"I know my way around magic well enough, and I can handle myself when push comes to shove. You need somepony watching your back, I can do the job." Illusion had said, before nervously scratching at the back of his head.
"You know, in case nopony else wants to help with what you need that one unicorn for... I'm fine with joining one of the teams, though. North, south, doesn't matter."

Marble : hey i can help too

"Doubtful. You don't look like expert material to me, I'm afraid." Was all Illusion had to say to Marble. He then shrugged. "Eh, let the crown decide, I guess."

"Very well. With Carter back, we can split into three teams in order to increase the area. Me and Illusion will go north, Star and Match go south and finally Marble, Blue and Carter will go west. Since the third team have two pegasus, Illusion, Star and Match could launch a flare spell to signalize their positions so that the pegasi would notice them in case of emergency. Are you all right with this plan?"

"O-Okay,"  Star answered, hoping that everything would turn out alright.

Marble : are you doubting my abilities? *she looks at illusion*

"Yeah, I don't see anything wrong with this. I'm fine with it." Illusion had said about the plan in mind.
He then turned to Marble. "In terms of general expertise, I'm afraid I have to say that I do indeed doubt you. But let's not quarrel over this; for the time being, it doesn't matter too much. You'll get a chance to prove yourself, I'm sure."

The unicorn turned back to Laurel at this point. "Ready when you are, sir."

"I already called dibs on the north team." Blue replied. 

"But, I'm not gonna defend my position since you want me on another team. I'll go with the west team since and Carter will lead the team. I just want to help figure things out." Blue replied

(Blue is a workaholic and has a very strong inner critic if you don't know already)

"Very well."

"I'll go with the south team." Carter said.

Marble : so Blue looks like your with me and carter? but... looks i.l go with carter only...wait what?? where am i gonna go then?

"Looks like you're with just me," Blue said, smiling at Marble.

Marble : works for me perfectly blue

"Guys we need to get a move on! We only have 9 hours to find out who did this!" said Carter.

Marble : why only 9 hours? and did what?

"Oh, for pony's sake!" Illusion suddenly snapped in response to Marble. "We got bit, we've turned into batponies, and if we don't fix this before dawn, none of us will see the light of day again!"

Well, let's start investigating the surroundings! Ready Marble?

Marble : but i dont have wings..shouldnt batponies get wings?

We can walk.  It'll take longer, but with you working with me, we'll find more stuff together.

"Well I can fly faster. So I'm just going to gather some stuff ahead of us and come back. Don't worry I know my berries!"  said Carter. He headed into the forest that him, Marble, and Blue were heading for.

Marble : now that you mention it i found this...*she takes out a broken scepter from her saddlebag*

"Ok. Now that it is all set. Let's split up."

After that, Laurel and Grand Illusion start going north while the other five ponies go in other directions: Carter, Marble and Blue going west and Match and Star going south. Whatever happens to them, they will always be ready for give some kind of alarm.

Things are going to be tricky: at this point, the only partecipants who are going to use this thread are me (being the RP Master, I'll only write for exposition), Misty Fly, BlazingInfinity and MMTfan1 while me and Stryder will proceed our part of the RP via personal message. Same thing for annosrules and waaaaah. If you have an idea for this roleplay, read below... and good luck]

[Since this is not an open RP, I'm the only one who is in charge of the story but little scenes and suggestions are acceptable as long as they do not pad too much. If you want to write something like finding an item or discovering some creature, you have to advise me. In this case, Misty Fly, you have to talk to me about the broken scepter]

Carter enters the forest. "Hmm... Now if I were a fire berry where would I be?" said Carter. He looks around for a couple seconds.

"Strange considering this one was not on its stem." said Carter. He picks it up anyway. He fly's back to Marble and Blue with the berry.

"I got snacks!" said Carter.

"You have indeed got snacks."  Blue said.

"Lets eat!" said Carter. He slices up 3 pieces of fire berry, gives one piece to himself, and the other pieces to them.

Blue eats his piece of the berry.  "mmm, this is pretty delicious.  Thanks Carter."

"Your more than welcome!" he said. He felt like he should be nice to these ponies and gain their trust.

*Marble looks at Carter*
Marble : can i have some too?

"Sure!" said Carter. He hands her a piece of fire berry.

*Marble ate the berry*
Marble : mm spicy

"That's why its called a fire berry! Anyway lets get a move on!" said Carter. He stood up and started flying off a bit.

Marble : allright then lead the way

Carter flies into the forest and leads the group.

Blue flies right alongside Carter as they head into the forest.

*Marble follows Carter and blue on the ground*

"You ever have that feeling that humans are controlling us in this imaginary world and they are just roleplaying us?" said Carter.

Marble : what are humans...and what?

"Nevermind that." said Carter. He continues to fly through the forest. However he started to feel his teeth grow. And the bite mark sink into his skin more.

A bright ball of cyan shines in the night to the North. According to what Laurel said: it is Illusion's flare, meaning that something has happened.

Blue is the first of the group to see flare.  "I think something has happened, follow me." He flies to the north.

Marble : hey not so fast! i cant fly ya know!

"Just get on!" said Carter. He sit down so Marble can get on his back.

*Marble climbs on carters back*

"You might want to hold on!" said Carter. He takes off faster than uhh... fast! He whizzes past Blue at the speed of sound.

*Marble holds tightly*
Marble : fast you are

Blue tries to keep up with Carter, but he cannot, no matter how hard he tries. 

"Hey, wait up! Don't leave me behind!" He yells after Carter, hoping he heard.

"Fine..." he said back to Blue. He slowed down so he was flying at a slow pace.

'I'm literally going at 1% speed right now and I'm right beside him. Wow.' Carter thought to himself.

"I think we should all stay together." He flies as fast as possible, knowing Carter can easily keep up or outrun him.

*Marble snuggles on carters back and falls asleep*

"Well then..." said Carter. Carter was STARVING. Sure he had a fire berry, but he has an appetite bigger than Pinkie Pie on a Free Cake Day.

Marble : hay bales count for 3 just dont eat them *she mumbles in her sleep*

"Well okay then..." said Carter, still flying. He hated going at such slow speeds.

[Everyone can reply here as long as your character noticed the blue flare]

After the group has finally been reunited, what they found shocked them: there was a female batpony with a carmine coat and a long ruffled mane with night blue and two stripes of a more intense red. Her Cutie Mark is two dark red bats with white fangs like her, extending at an innatural length.
It's one kind of a mare a stallion would fall in love.
It was not even the only surprise: they also looked at Laurel Crown. His dark mane is more ruffled than before and the pupils of his eyes became much thinner. The only conclusion they came up was Laurel got bitten once again and his metamorphisis has been reduced to less than 4 hours.

"Who is this?" asked Carter. He still had 8 hours left.

Um.......what happened?

"Oh my... What a bunch of cute ponies we have here. Are those your friends?" she said the mysterious vampony with a seductive voice.

"Well, yes... they are." Laurel answered. He was panting heavily, possibly from the second bite he got from that scarlet pony

"Back off. If you come any closer I will not be afraid to attack." said Carter. A real batpony! If only Venom was here he would've been shocked.

Blue just stares at the batpony unsure of what to do.

"Friends is a bit strong of a term for the time being. But... Sure, why not?" Illusion had said, looking none too pleased with the Vampony.
"Oh, for pony's sake, she isn't going to bite! Again... I think..." He then added. "Look... Our new acquaintance here knows a place we can probably stay for a bit, and get a proper explanation for our condition in the meantime."

The unicorn then turned to the Batpony. "That's not too much to ask, is it, Scarlet?"

"Fine... I'll trust you." said Carter. He does not like putting his trust in others besides his friends.

"That's great. Our mistress will be happy to meet new members of the family... and don't worry about your little friend here" referring to Laurel. "He will get proper medication. We may be thirsty vamponies but are not beasts."

"Wait a second... does somepony knows where are Match and Star?"

"Oh them..." said Carter. He had no idea where they were, but as long as he got out of this alive he was fine.

"What, they didn't see the bright light?" Illusion had asked. "Then again, they were heading in the exact opposite direction of us, weren't they? They should be along shortly. I hope..."

*Marble wakes up*
Marble : how much time we got left carter?

Match teleports to the origin of the magical flare, lighting up the surroundings with his fiery method of teleportation ad he does so.

Star was chasing after Match when the aforementioned unicorn's horn glowed, and he vanished in flash of fire. Star stood for a moment, then continued running in the same direction even faster than before, screaming:

"W-WHAT DID I D-DO TO DESERVE THIS!?"

"H-Hey Star, what's the matter? Why are you screaming?" He said in order to calm Star Diver.

"Well that just happened..." said Carter. He was still looking at scarlet. If that vampony bit him he would only have 3 hours left to be normal.

"Whoa whoa WHOA! Calm down!" Illusion had loudly said, trying to physically hold Star back before he ended up doing something bad. "Get a hold of yourself! What happened?!"

//uh what can i do?

"Bwuh?"  Star looked around in confusion at the ponies around him. How did they suddenly appear?

"What happened?" Illusion repeated, more calmly now that Star had apparently calmed down, if only a bit. "Match teleported here, and I assume you did so too without realizing somehow. Next thing we know, you're running and screaming like a madmare! What. Happened?"

"I-I thought - he - w-what?" Star was confused as ever. Match had taken him in the teleport?

"Wheres the danger?" Match asks frantically, his horn's tip already lit with magical flame.

"Umm... There is no danger." said Carter.

Then why did you set of a flare!?

"Because we found something important, pal!" Illusion said loudly in response to Match. "I thought that was somewhat obvious considering the Vampony standing right there!" He pointed to Scarlet.
With an annoyed sigh, he turned back to Star. "In my experience, magic sometimes does funny things when you're stressed. Just take a deep breath and try to stay calm... Can you do that?"

Marble : for some reason i have a craving for apples now...

Star nodded; he took a deep breath, and slowly exhaled.

"Well I don't know about you guys, but I'm not sticking around to argue." said Carter. He moved next to Scarlet.

The glow of Match's horn dissipates along with the magical fire. "So you're responsible for this?" he asks the Vampony.

"Hehehe... well yes, I am. Sorry for your friend here... but he is sooo delicious." she licked her lips. "But don't worry for him. Soon enough he will become another member of our proud family... and after him, all of you are next."

"I will not stand idly by and let you hurt more innocent ponies," Match says as his horn begins burning off excess mana once again, resulting in a magical flame at its tip.

As soon as Laurel saw the flame, he stoods in front of Match trying to stop him... even though he was feeling a dizzy and sickly feeling.

"No! Don't do that! i know she's the one who bit me but do not attack her. She's gonna escort us to the hideout where the vamponies are hidden. If we go into the enemy's den with the metamorphosis still going, they cannot attack us and we may also have a chance to discover some kind of cure for this vampirism."

"Are you still thinking there's a cure for your sudden transformation into one of us?" she smiles and then she hugs the brown pony with a soft grasp. "There is no cure for changing and this is something you cannot deny." and then she brushes under Match's muzzle. "Why don't you just accept your fate and wait for it? I know you're all gonna... "pass out" but then a new energy will awakes you and each one of you will rise like a phoenix. From somepony who had that experience, it's a beautiful and unique feeling. Something that happens once in a life-time."

Carter was still standing next to Scarlet. He was getting VERY creeped out. He just hoped that she wouldn't bite him.

Blue was just seeminly unable to speak the whole time, and he watches the others and is starting to feel a bit weirded out by the situation.

"I will not compromise my oaths in order to join the likes of you!" Match says while stepping forward and attempting to push Laurel out of his way.

Carter was still beside Scarlet just looking at her. He was waiting for her to come over and bite him. He just knew she would.

Match's valiant defiance triggers his talent, and encourages any who consider him an ally and who would also stand against the vampony. While this vaguely magical effect doesn't force anyone to act regardless of there fears, it does help to lessen the hold of their fears.

Illusion's expression darkened as Match had begun causing issues. "You may want to close your eyes for a moment..." He said to Star.
With that, the unicorn calmly walked over to the conflict, his horn glowing as he tapped the back of Match's head, and promptly let loose a painfully bright flash of light into his eyes the moment he got a chance, before forcefully shoving him away.

"Call this assault or obstruction of justice if you want, but you were about to make a costly mistake, attacking our only lead. Like it or not, she's our only hope to finding out anything, and I didn't arrange this meeting only to have it end in violence."

Unfortunately for Illusion, Match Stick was no stranger to blinding tactics, having been a user of it himself. The warning Illusion gave warranted Match enough time to close his eyes in anticipation of the flash. "What sway do you have over this Vampony that makes you so certain that she will co-operate?" he responds angrily to Illusion.

"None that I know of." Illusion admitted. "Pretty face, maybe? But let me ask you this, do you have any better leads? No? I thought not. So do you really want to be responsible for the loss of about six innocent ponies because of you causing that one lead to be unusable? Are you willing to throw away our lives in the name of 'justice'?"

"I'm with him. Sure I was a jerk in the beginning, but still this is the ONLY lead we have. It could get us all turned into batponies or it could save our lives!" said Carter. He looked next to him. He was still standing next to Scarlet the whole time.

"The needs of the many out way the needs of the few, and I cannot allow that thing to continue plaguing equestria with its vile corruption. It's my duty!"

"Oh, corruption... I see. Well then, I guess you might as well destroy us all, then! Seeing as we've all been tainted, cursed to become such corrupting beings... After all, if it's your duty, then who are we to resist?"

"Don't test me." Match responds threateningly.

"Or what?" Illusion challenged. "Going to hit me because you know I'm right?! Go right ahead, then! Prove to everypony here how completely unstable you are!"

"Me, unstable? Your the one letting that monster, who has promised to make us all like her, go! She will not help us cure ourselves, and you are vying for us to let her go on and do this to more ponies! This ends right here, right now."

Carter flies over to Match. He whispers very quietly into his ear.

"She leads us to where we need to go. Then burn away." whispered Carter (to Match). He flies back to Scarlet.

"Um........" Blue started to say, but he decided against saying anything further. 

"Why are you all so naive! She's not going to help cure us, nor will she just let us stop her! If you wan't to get in the way of my apprehension of a criminal, be my guest." And with that his entire body flares with fire and vanishes, as he appears wreathed in magical flame behind the vampony.

(I'm going to wait for Laurel to post before responding again.)

"Stop fighting!" Star said heatedly. "This isn't going to help anypony!"

[Sorry for roleplaying so late. I was out of house the entire day and my feet are smoking >.<. At least nothing bad has happened between your OCs.]

"Hehehe... HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Her cackle was so creepy that it could send chills down the spine even for Laurel Crown and Grand Illusion. Match Stick couldn't even react to the insane laughter while the others were terrified. A single tear was falling down on her face. "I never laughed so much in my entire life as a wretched pegasus. Hahaha... You're too funny, my little ponies, but let me make things crystal clear... Your Match guy is right: As long as you are normal ponies, I'm not your ally nor friend. There is no cure to this change and, even if there's a way to reverse the metamorphosis and if I know it, I wouldn't say it because I would rather wait until you're finally part of our proud race. We vamponies wants some new friends... some new members for our family."

"Then you did this to us and many others because you're worried that your... "family" would extinct?" Laurel asked while gaining support from a now calmed Illusion.

"That is one of our Mistress' wishes. She'll be happy to see you joining the family where the sun will not touch with its rays... but if you attack me, the only lead to the hideout, the dawn will be the last thing you'll see so, at the same time, Match is wrong. See? If you do not choose the right option, take a wild guess about what will happen. Hehehe..."

[>reads "Laura" instead of Laurel; The fudge you called me??? XD]

"If Celestia's light deems me unworthy come the morn, then so be it, let the mourning come and see me away! But so long as my muscles have the strength to move me, I shall do so against you and your foul kind."

((Fixed it Laurel))

"So that's it, then? You're just going to let us all turn to ash for your duty?" Illusion had asked, strangely quiet. "Innocent ponies, likely with families and loved ones... wiped away, because you were stubborn. And in the end, what does it accomplish? Another member of Scarlet's family will just move on to another group of ponies like us, and you can do nothing to stop it when that happens..."

Star fell quiet. He really didn't want to turn to ash by dawn, but at the same time, he didn't want to reveal it either.

"Match, we have to accept Scarlet's offer. I know you don't want to but we have no choice. If we do not follow her, we're going to spend the rest of our lives inside our houses without watching the sun... even worse, Equestria would be doomed if these vamponies start transforming all the ponies into what we are going to be. If you really insist that you don't want to go with her... with us... then it's fine. It's your choice so do not blame us for your incident."

[Be careful annos. This decision will influences your play in this RP. I know it sounds drastic but I think this story got enough padding.]

"Look. It is all of us voting against you. Except for one exception." said Carter.

After a few seconds of internal conflict, Match's horn extinguishes and he stands regularly instead of combative. "If you don't want my protection, then fine, it's your life. But when your foalish plan falls through, know that I will protect equestria." A look of anger and hatred still persists on the Guardspony's face

Marble : i guess i.ll go on my own...*she jumps off carter and runs into the forest*

"Wow... I thought you were more compact as a team."

Ignoring Scarlet's provocation, Laurel stretches a hoof towards to Marble "Wait Marble! What are you doing?!?"

[Ok. Match Stick can stay in the group but now it's Marble's choice. Same thing applied: if she doesn't return, I will officially expel her from the story. TBH I'm starting to get annoyed by these unexpected turns as I try to push the story with only Laurel and Scarlet here.]

"Well she's gone." said Carter. He showed no expression of regret or sadness.

Star watched the pony run off on her own into the forest. He wondered why she wasn't sticking with the group.

[As Julien999 said: you have to follow the story of this roleplay since it has a "fixed" storyline that must be followed. Feel free to answer Laurel or Scarlet, to discuss with Match Stick about what should they do, to do something that it's relevant to the story instead of doing random things outta nowhere. I know it sounds difficult to immerse in the RP but I know that feeling so here's my tip: be yourself (or rather be like your OC/Ponysona; as long as he/she doesn't have a Pinkie-esque personality) and try to intervene whenever you think sounds appropriate. Once you catch the wave, it'll be natural.]

"Bye Marble......" He watches Marble run into the forest. 

"If I royally screw up, I would like to think it'd be my own fault. My life, my choices, and I'll take full responsibility for what may happen because of those choices." Illusion had said, and was apparently completely serious about what he was saying.

And not long after, Marble ran off, because reasons. "Marbey?! What are you-?!" Wasting no further time, he gave chase.
The problem was, he couldn't afford to waste their time with a long chase, not with dawn slowly approaching and an angry unicorn left alone with the one thing left with his only possible hope, which happened to be what had made him angry in the first place.

Illusion didn't want to abandon her, or anypony, for that matter, but if she was going to be as stubborn as Match had been, he'd have no choice but to return without her and hope she came to her senses.

[If it turns out Marble won't be coming back, I'm sending Illusion straight back to the group immediately so the story can (hopefully) continue without further interruption.]

"Aaand your friend has gone. Looks like she couldn't handle the stress with you. If I were you, you should start searching her... or the sun may turn her into dust."

[Starting now, I'll give 10 hours of time for Misty Fly to responding back or her OC will be considered lost in the woods and thus unable to progress.]

Marble : i.m here Illusion *She said calmly*

"Marbey? Oh, thank Celestia..." Illusion had said, finding Marble not too far into the wilderness. "Look... I know the situation is frustrating and stressful, but we need to stick together, at least for a while. Or at least until the Vampony, Scarlet, leads us to her hideout. C'mon, we need to head back; the others aren't going to wait forever."

Marble : cmon then lead the way...

"Okay, then. This way." Sighing with relief, Illusion began on the short journey back, looking behind him several times as he did so to make sure Marble was still following him.

*Marble Slowly follows illusion*

After Illusion and Marble returned to the team, there was a collective sigh of relief. They couldn't (or wouldn't) imagine what would have happened to those two if they were lost in the woods. If Scarlet's words were to be taken in account, they would have turned into statues. And from statues, they would have turned into pile of dust.

"Very well. Follow me."

Scarlet led the group away from the river (the only way to escape from the orchard, discovered by Illusion and Laurel) and she takes them further into the woods. The trees were getting more and more numerous to the point where the moonlight is shadowed by the branches. They finally arrive at a huge rocky wall, probably made by hydrogeological instability as more trees were atop of the "wall", with a big hole as an entrance.

"Here we are. Home sweet home."

Match grumbles about the whole scenario, but overall stays pretty quiet, letting his hateful gaze towards Scarlet do all the talking for him.

Marble : okay...where are we going?

"H-How many vamponies a-are there?" Star asked Scarlet.

"Right into a fortress of stone, it looks like." Was all Illusion had said, answering Marble's question, exaggerating a tad as he did so.
He then shivered, looking all around as if expecting to see several pairs of eyes in the trees. "This place gives me the shivers I haven't felt since I ventured into the Everfree on a dare. And unlike there, this place just feels... lifeless."

Marble : you mean the castle of the 2 sisters?

"If only that was the case right now..." Illusion responded, shaking his head.

*The Green Vines Starts to come out of the tree silently towards Marble but she doesnt notice it*

Blue is feeling quite nervous as he follows the group, his high level of anxiety keeping him from speaking or doing much of anything.  He stays near Marble, who he noticed had returned. 

"Now... if you all come here, I'll guide you to the throne room and present you to the Mistress."

Match grumbles something about coming out of the frying pan and into the fire, and bares his newly fanged teeth as he's led deeper into the Vamponies' lair.

Marble : who is the Mistress?

Carter rolls his eyes. He could care less about the others especially Match. The first chance he got to get the cure he would take it.

It was becoming apparent that he would have to us it, Star reflected as the entered deeper and deeper. He was not looking forward to meeting this Mistress at all.

Scarlet come close to Marble and talks to her. She was so close to the unicorn that the latter was starting to get unsettled... as if the creepy personality of the vampony wasn't unsettling enough.

"She's the one who stripped us of our meaningless lives and gave us a new, more meaningful one. She's the one who dreams about a land where only the moon would stay high in the sky, a land where only the quiet and romantic night will be the new "day"... She's the one who wants all ponies to be from one same race."

"So, Scarlet. Is this 'mistress' of yours going to help us or what?" asked Carter.

Blue follows the others inside, staying near Marble.

"So... Nightmare Moon, then? With the addition of the one race thing?" Illusion couldn't help asking. He then shook his head. "Crops would fail without the sun, most farms would be rendered almost completely useless, and then there's no food for anyone. Not to mention that without the sun's warmth, the land would eventually freeze over. Did the Mistress even think this dream through, or are we supposed to believe that she has a plan for that?"

Match couldn't hold back any longer as a righteous fury burned within his very soul. "BLASPHEMY!" he shouts at Scarlet, his pearly white teeth and night equip eyes gleaming from ambient light. "The night is as meaningless without the day, as a shadow is without any light. I will not be preached to on such a foul and unthinkable topic!"

(Laurel, rather than telling Misty how her character feels, simply describe the scene as creepily as you can; it's Misty's decision as to how her character reacts)

"O-One race!?" Star  said in a  shocked tone. "D-Does she only wish f-for conformity?"

"Illusion has a point and he's not the only one. On the other side of the world, the sun would scorch the land making it impossible to farm there and the sun rays can be dangerous under prolonged exposition. What am I trying to say is that living in an eternal day or night would damage the entire ecosystem."

"Your words are meaningless." she came close to Grand Illusion and Laurel Crown with a grin. "We are hunters, not farmers. As the Mistress says: only the strongest animals can live and adapt to new enviroments. It is the survival of the fittest. While most of the animals wouldn't resist an eternal winter, we proud vamponies have a special fats that allow us to endure cold temperatures. It is one of the many perks that the Mistress gave us. She should be the real ruler of Equestria. She always thinks of new ways of improve our lives... she's such a motherly figure to all of us..."

and then, with a swift move, she approaches to Match Stick.

"But if you remove the light, there will only be complete darkness. Did I ever told you that we vamponies love darkness and its silence?" once again she moves so fast that she couldn't give any moment to react to everypony. "Enough chit-chat. Follow me and do not ever, and I mean EVER, separate from me. You know... our home is pretty... A-maze-ing. Hehe... get it?"

Marble : Lunar Republic...Could it be true? i thought it was hoax but if she wants eternal night then...

"Right, and I'm sure that's what the changelings thought of their queen. You know, before they got blown up and sent flying all over Equestria for their trouble." Illusion said grumpily.
Despite his determination to remain in a bad mood, however, he couldn't help but snicker. Why? Bad puns. His one weakness."A-maze-ing. Heh, yeah, I get it..."

Giving a quick look towards the others, though, he awkwardly cleared his throat and wiped the smile off his face.

"So if we were to disintegrate her. We would be getting rid of our one and only chance to get out of here." said Carter. He despised Match, but hopefully he would like him better later on.

"L-like the darkness? Even if I end up b-becoming a vampony, that will never h-happen!"  Star declared to Scarlet.

Scarlet replies to Star Diver as she enters in the cave.

"Don't worry, my little pony. Another perk of being a vampony is being able to see in the dark. That's why we are not afraid of darkness... and so does our future children. Olden Pony? Headless Horse? Pfff... nonsense. Now follow me. I heard that the creatures living in these woods really LOVE ponies. hehehe..."

[Aw come one... It was an a-maze-ing pun XD]

"I-I hate to say it, but you s-should fear the dark," Star replied.

"There is nothing to fear in the dark in my opinion." replied Carter. However he had one fear. One fear that he would never tell anyone. A fear of Cockroaches.

"T-Then be thankful for your i-ignorance."

I'm not afraid of the dark either.

"Of course nopony really fears the dark. You should be afraid of what's in the dark. That's when all the dangerous stuff tends to wake up." Illusion had said. "Including batponies." He then added silently.

Star laughed at that.

"Y-You're only partially right," he said, and then fell silent.

[This roleplay should be called "The Full Pun Syndrome". Anyway, I need to do some godmodding here]

The group follows Scarlet who is leading the way through the hideout, which looks like some kind of ants' nest. The rooms were filled with vamponies with their shining teeth and soul-piercing eyes watching the seven ponies. The seven new members of the family. Some of these vamponies have a horn as a hint that some of those ponies were unicorns before got bitten and transformed into the creatures they were now. Some were earth pony and they have such developed muscles that they could to knockout a bison with a kick. The pegasi were the only ones whose changes were mostly estetic. The group was terrified to being seen as some kind of preys... among predators.  After what it seemed to be ten minutes of walking in the caves, with the ponies being nervous, they enter in a big room with a throne stading on top of a hill. There was nopony sitting there.

"So where is she?" asked Carter.

"She's either invisible, or she's going to suddenly appear with some kind of a display. This would be the perfect time to make a good... well, an impression." Illusion had answered. Having done such things himself, that was the first thing that came to mind.

"My, my... What do we have here? Guests?"

The group turned around. Behind her was a tall mare. Her coat was sky blue, giving the impression she's made of ice, while her mane was very tall, almost touching the chest, made of a much darker shade of blue with a long white stripe and with patterns that resembles wind spirals.
Her eyes, also dark blue in color, were even more soul-piercing than the vamponies had...and just like the vamponies, she has wings and... a horn.
In appearance, she was like a princess... a dark princess with long teeth coming out of her mouth, horn and wings like an alicorn and creepy eyes.

Her dress was something that could only be described as "polar-themed belly dancer". It was a two-pieces dress with crystal and snow patterns, a long transparent gown where they could see her Cutie Mark (a moon with five snowflakes surrounding it) and a big necklace with a snowflake symbol.
They also noticed something on her hooves. White smoke was coming out of those hoves... and they wouldn't want to touch it. The more intelligent ponies in the group (like Laurel Crown) thought it was something like liquid nitrogen.

Scarlet bows down in front of her like a subject of her after she saw the tall mare.

"My Mistress. As you ordered, we searched for more members for your proud and ever-growing family and, after we bit them, I gathered them here even though these ones were a bit... stubborn." She then proceed to grab Laurel Crown to the neck and trying to push him down. "Bow down. You are in front of her majesty. The Mistress Arctic Star."

"Arctic Star?"

"Stella Magnifica Arctica. This is my full name... but for my children, I'm Arctic Star. Please to meet you all, my dearest children." She presents herself with the same kindness a mom would have to his son.

"My knee's only bow to the true royalty of Equestria," Match states firmly as he refuses to kneel.

"I'm not bowing down to anyone except the true rulers of Equestria!" said Carter. He flies up above the ground and crosses his arms.

"Ma'am." Illusion had said. "Forgive me if I, or as it seems, we, do not bow like your... children might. As you can see, our loyalties lie elsewhere for the time being. We would not have come here at all if it weren't for the fact that we had no real choice in the matter."

He then cringed, backing away a bit as he gave a nervous glance towards Scarlet. "Um... I was free to speak, right?"

"How dare you challenge her?" she growls at Carter, Match Stick and Grand Illusion (ignoring his polite manners) with beastly eyes. "You should do as she says or else you don't want to see her might!"

"Calm down, Scarlet. It's all right. It's not like I asked them to bow down for me. Even a well educated child can be a rebel but you don't have to force him, just let him pour out." Arctic Star notices Laurel Crown struggling to keep standing still, only to be helped by Grand Illusion. "Is there a problem, darling?"

Star stayed silent. Nervous though he was, he drew strength from the other ponies' resistance, and did not bow.

"Yes, there's a problem." Illusion had been the first to answer. "Laurel's been bitten, for the second time, and as you can see, it's taken a lot out of him. We have our dear friend Scarlet to thank for that, having been in some kind of frenzy at the time of the incident."

"Exactly!" said Carter. He despised every moment of this.

"You may forgive me. She's one of my most loyal servants and I gave her the mission of finding your subjects. She did a good job... maybe too much for what I asked. I know how it feels losing too much of that... Its lack can be exhausting and you can even pass out but, once the metamorphosis is complete, you feel risen like a phoenix. You all look tired by looking into your eyes. Would you rest in our rooms? After all you're becoming the new members of our family in due time and no vampony will attack you. So you can rest here before we should celebrate it. About your friend Laurel... come with me..."

Despite being the one behind the curtains, her personality was too likeable. She was speaking with a gentle and sincere manner, almost like a motherly figure. It was a common trait for a princess... but the ponies knows that it could be a travesty to hide her real - probably dark - personality. The chilling atmosphere that surrounds her may as well be a hint of her true colors.
Laurel Crown doesn't want to go with her despite the cordial invite.

"Ma'am, if it's all the same to you," Illusion said suddenly.  "I would rather that he doesn't go anywhere alone. Pardon me, you seem pleasant enough, but I'm certain Laurel would feel far more comfortable if he was accompanied by somepony he actually knew."

"Isn't that right, buddy?" He gave a subtle nudge into the earth pony's side.

Something here doesn't feel right... None of us should be on their own, especially not in a place like this!

Star nudged Match.

"C-Can you try to get e-everypony into the room? I have a w-way out of here," he whispered.

Carter flew back down onto the ground and stretched his wings. He would LOVE to go to bed right now, but if this queen was lying he would be the first one out of here.

"Yeah..." he nods. "Illusion is right. I feel I'm going to pass out anytime and my friend, who saved me from... your servant, is enough to feel safe. Not to diss your offer but I would rather share a room with him instead of sleeping alone."

"Don't worry." she replies while caressing each pony with a hoof. They could feel their coats freezing just by that one simple touch. "Each one of you will have a room to sleep and eat something so that you can regain your energies. After that, we're going to discuss about everything you can ask me for and see if there's a problem I can solve. I know all of you had a rough experience but it's not my fault if Scarlet can be... ruthless sometimes. Ruthless but very faithful. So... what do you think about my offer"

Listening to Star's plan, Match says, "I'm pretty sure that I speak for all of us when I say that we would prefer to stay together."

"No."

The entire room went silent as Illusion said that one word. He was being completely serious, and he knew he had to choose his words carefully, the unicorn could already feel Scarlet's glare right then. Or was he imagining it?
"We can't simply sleep this off; by that time, it might already be too late for our discussion to be of any use. Laurel, in particular, is at most risk. What I'm referring to is our unwilling transformation into your kind. I don't know your opinion on the sun, but some of us had enjoyed the what both worlds had to offer."

Illusion remained silent for a few seconds, unsure if  the Alicorn would take offense. Her overall creepiness did not help at all.

"W-what I'm asking is... is... I-if you happen to know how long the process really takes! We had assumed it would take a few hours... Like nine, for example. We're just a bit... hesitant about this, and the knowledge that it takes longer than that, if that's the case, would be a bit of a... relief, I suppose? It's curiosity, nothing more..."

Yeah, there was no way he was gutsy enough to ask for a cure, right to her face, a mare that treated the vamponies like her children!
Hahaha, no.  By that logic, asking for a cure was basically asking her to give up her foals. In other words, high risk of an angry Alicorn, meaning a very big no-no. Even getting close to the subject was risky, far too risky.

If someone was going to ask outright about a cure, it wouldn't be Illusion.

The room has fallen into silence.
The tall alicorn Arctic Star look at Grand Illusion with a smile. Not the kind of smile you would see on a happy filly, but the kind of smile that could unsettle even the most determined guard. The group knew that she could freeze them in a simple spell... and yet her manners look so sweet, so calm, so gentle.
Scarlet, on the other hand, was looking to Grand Illusion with fiery eyes.

"Very well. Let's go in my room so that we can talk to each other and see what can I do to help you. Scarlet?"

"Yes, my Mistress?"

"I want you, along with my most trusted children, to organize the plan."

"You mean "that plan"?"

A soul-piercing gaze from Arctic Star was able to flinch a vampony like Scarlet who got out of room swiftly. The icy princess turns around to look at the seven ponies and once again use that smile.

"Follow me." she proceed to go to an entrance located near the throne.

Match whispers to Star as they go, "Whatever plan you had, you better do it quickly before we're separated. Or worse."

"I-I need about half a minute to s-set it up,"  Star whispered back. "And t-trust me, it'll be loud."

Match nods in understanding before returning his focus to Arctic Star, his enhanced eyes studying her every movement.

"Match are you sure that Star's plan is going to get us out of here?" whispered Carter.

"Because if not I have a plan involving only me getting harmed, and it WILL work if this one fails." whispered Carter.

"If the plan is to fail, the sacrificial duty is mine to fulfill." Match whispers in reply to Carter.

"Stop whispering! Who's to say she can't hear you...?!" Illusion had himself whispered to the ponies discussing their plans.
He was shaking as he walked at this point, shocked at what he'd done earlier, and absolutely terrified at what might happen as a result.

Oh, sweet Mother Mare, guide us to safety...

After some minutes of walking, where the ponies hoped that Arctic Star didn't heard them, they enter in something that resembles a ballroom.
Judging from a large bed, lots of stuff such as vanities and night tables, they assumed it was her bedroom. The entire room was covered in darkness except the center where there was a lamp illuminating the spot where Arctic stood.

"So... now that were alone, we can finally discuss about your problems. Maybe with a cup of tea. Before you could ask me anything, I have a question for you: do you really want to return to your original forms? Is that why you came here?"

[At this point, I know what should I do so please... do not screw this part. There is also another interesting gimmick I want to bought up soon enough. :D]

"I have no interest in sharing tea with the likes of you," Match spits.

"Such rudeness. Are you nervous because you're going to turn into a vampony? Don't worry, darling... it won't hurt too much and you can gain a lot of perks by being along with my children. If that doesn't calm you then I have to be sincere in order to open your heart to me..... There is a way to reverse the process. A way to block the metamorphosis... but I would suggest to avoid it if you do not want to suffer."

Laurel look at Arctic Star with a suspicious glare. If she wants the group to turn into a bunch of vamponies, and thus being her children, why she would say there is a way to cure the vampirism? This, of course, made the brown pony questioning the alicorn. "If really there is a way to cure ourselves from this curse... why would you say that to us?"

"Simple. By the time you'll know about the cure..." a brief moment of silence came down and Arctic Star smiles in a creepy manner. "...It'll be too late for you to make it."

With that discouraging sentence, all the seven ponies felt something attacking from behind. They were vamponies who were already got in position to attack them were they lowered their guard. Laurel could feel a terrifying presence behind... it was Scarlet.

(Obligatory godmodding... also, since Misty Fly didn't rolled the dice, it will count as an automatic 1)

- Grand lllusion reacted quickly to the ambush as he teleports behind the aggressor and launch a magic beam that knocks the vampony out.
- Carter rises up and started "dismounting" the beast before its teeth could reach his neck.
- Before the vampony could attack him, Blue Cloud was quick enough to give him a double hoof that sends it straight against the wall.
- Star Diver, due to his jumpy nature, shakes and screams but nothing prevent the vampony to bite his neck. By activating his horn, he creates a portal beneath his hooves to help him escape... and with an another portal, he lands on top of the beast. Now Star Dives's metamorphosis time has been decreased like what happened to Laurel.
- Match Stick was able to get out of the vampony's grasp and blast him with a fiery beam from his horn.
- Unfortunately Laurel wasn't strong or even lucky enough to escape from Scarlet's hold. The femme fatale, the most dangerous vampony in Arctic Star's "family", finished what she started with the harmless pony, now lying on the floor twitching and feeling pain from the sudden transformation.
- Even Marble Star didn't escape like the others and now she experiences a huge pain around her body.

(bleh. I had this whole thing planned. whatever, it's not like I can't work it into what happened

"M-Match!" Star yelled, holding onto the vampony for dear life. "I-I need a bit of t-time!"

"Some hunter you were..." Illusion had muttered, shaking his head as he turned away from the unconscious mess of a vampony.
Something in him had changed, and it was apparent right from the start. "I REFUSE TO BE A PUPPET, NOT TO YOU, NOT TO FATE, AND MOST CERTAINLY NOT TO YOUR RIDICULOUS PROPECY!"

His eyes, with bright green Irises, were also open at this point, another clear indicator that he was done talking things over.

And then there was the fact that his horn was glowing brightly, almost painfully so. Another flash spell, similar to what he had tried to use on Match before, but on a somewhat larger scale.
And by that, I mean a flash of light almost as bright as the sun. And just as blinding in such close proximity, if the bright glow was any indication.

He just needed a few more seconds to fire it off...

Carter had no intention of going easy now. He tries to dive-bomb the nearest vampony. He starts doing a corkscrew whilst dive-bombing.

"I AM SICK AND TIRED OF YOU!" said Carter.

Star meanwhile began to focus, while trying to keep his attention on the vampony he was riding. Two overlapping circles near his cutie mark, one blue, one orange, began to glow.

Match's horn glows furiously as his repressed aggressions are allowed to loose themselves upon the vamponies. Hearing Star's call for aid, Match tells him, "You can do it, just leave these creeps to me!". This statement of encouragement acts with twofold purpose, as it is a catalyst for both Match's encouragement and empowerment abilities. The extra mana being diverted to Star also allows Match to be less wasteful with his mana, and provide more powerful attacks with more accuracy than before.

(Sorry for the mouthful, just felt like explaining things too much :P ) hi

A low hum filled the air around Star. The circles were shining quite intensely now. A cold draft swept the place.

That's when Star started screaming as pain beyond knowing ripped through him:

"HEAAREEYAEEYARGH!

Match drops what he was doing as he vanishes in a violent flash of flame, reappearing gently beside Star. "I've got you," he says reassuringly to the other stallion.

ALL INFINITY LIES BEFORE YOU

Star couldn't stop, not even if he wanted to.

EMBRACE YOUR DESTINY

A thousand voices crying out in terror and agony reached the unicorn's ears, some begging for release, others shrieking with boundless hate. He never stopped screaming, and lost all awareness of his surroundings.

THE POWER TO BREACH ALL REALITY IS YOURS

USE IT

Match grabs the terrified stallion and gives him a soft shake. "Hey, are you alright?"

In the midst of the bitten ponies, a wavering hole suddenly appeared. The pain started to recede, the voices started to fade, and Star came back to himself...just in time to see the portal hurtling towards him, as the vampony had thrown him off. With a loud (girlish)  scream, Star flew through, and hit the floor of the living room of his Ponyville cottage.

(I'm going to be gone for a day)

Carter didn't care anymore he just wanted to end this and end it now. He continued to build up speed with the corkscrew attack getting closer and closer to the batpony.

With Star's portal created, Match begins the wearisome task of defending it. His horn glows a vibrant orange as mana is refined into arcane fire and sent lashing out against the vamponies.

(Gonna wait for Laurel)

Blue's temper rises, and he just loses it, and gives the batpony another punch for attacking his friends.

"DON'T YOUR DARE MESS WITH MY FRIENDS!"

"So you batponies love the dark, yeah...? Let's see how you handle a bit of light!" Illusion had said, right before his horn went off.
A bright flash, brighter than anything anypony had seen before, save for perhaps the sun, had flared from his horn, blinding everypony who had failed to see what he was doing and, not just close, but shield their eyes as well.

After that, though, his attention soon turned to Scarlet.
Make her pay... Make them all pay for what they've done!

Wasting no time, he took off at a run, charging directly at her with the intentions of ramming, and other acts of physical violence.
The way he saw it, she wasn't even a mare anymore; just another monster, and one that was responsible for ruining his life.

[Ok, now I'm gonna wait.]

[I'm going to split up the parts here.]

Arctic Star, with innatural calmness, proceeds to Match Stick who was defending the portal Sta Diver created. The only way for the group to get out to the place. The unicorn could feel the floor getting much colder the more she approaches.

"I'll take your counterattack as a deny to my offer. Why do you keep doing this instead of accepting it? I can give you a new long-lasting life. One that fits the new world I want to create according to my children's dreams. Match Stick... your talent and your magic are overwhelming. Such a great potential shall not be wasted in a world the sun "kisses" his weak inhabitants. Even if you deny once again, keep in mind that you're going to change... and changes cannot be reversed in nature."

After a very enjoyful drink from her victim, Scarlet didn't noticed Illusion's charge until the very last moment.
His tackle was painful... and she likes it. For a normal pony a tackle like that could hurt or even break a bone... but it was nothing but a scratch for a vampony like the crazy red mare.

"Hehehe... did you tried to hit on me? I thought you were a gentlecolt being the unicorn you are."

Her creepy grin became a creepier smile by seeing Laurel Crown screaming and twitching in agony.
He was feeling a horrible pain in all his body as his coat and mane started being more ruffled and a pair of vampiric wings came out. His teeth grew more during his final metamorphosis and even Marble Star had the same exact experience.

Arctic Star took a quick look... and smiled.

Now that the vampony was distracted Carter made a mad dash for Scarlet while corkscrewing. He was going REALLY fast now. (I can't control if it hits or not so yeah. MORE SUSPENSE!)

Illusion cursed mentally to himself, asking why in Equestria he didn't go in horn-first. A sharp horn into Scarlet's side would've been far more damaging.
"If this night had not turned violent, I might have tried another form of hitting. To think I even briefly thought of such things... Regardless, the situation has changed. 'Gentle' is far from what my intentions are right now."

The unicorn narrowed his eyes, his pupils becoming slits as his breathing quickened, and before long, his expression was an angry snarl. A side-effect of the early stages of metamorphosis combined with intense rage? Perhaps.
"I'm just a little bit ABSOLUTELY LIVID. You single-hoofedly ruined my life!"

You're talking too much! Take advantage before she steals it for herself!

Illusion's horn, without warning, immediately flashed with another bright light. And as Scarlet was busy dealing with the effects, covering her eyes or not, he remembered the vampony he knocked out earlier, and launched said vampony at Scarlet with his magic, before throwing caution to the wind and basically throwing himself at her as well.

"My purpose is not for the betterment of an individual, nor shall my talents be squandered on the likes of you." Match replies angrily as the temperature around himself increases, and embers begin rising from his hooves. "And just as I judge you, so shall I be judged by the radiance of the sun; to be pure, or made to be." Match holds his ground, and does not advance against Arctic Star.

Star didn't get up from the floor; he watched the battle raging through the portal.

Scarlet dodged Carter's corkscrew dash and she was ready to tackle Illusion... but the flare obligated the mare to cover her eyes. The vampony and Illusion hit the femme fatale with great impact against the wall but that wasn't enough. She was standing still... just barely, and with a weak smile. Another attack and she could pass out.

"Very well, Match Stick. You know? A good parent shouldn't treat badly his own child unless it's necessary. While your friends tried to be reasonable with me, you have been very naughty. As punishment, I'm going to spank that flank of yours... with this hooves." Arctic Star proceed to stomp the ground, creating a big carpet of ice in an instant. Match Stick was stunned by how she froze the area around her. "This is not my talent... but at the same time it's my power. These hooves do NOT create ice. They decrease the temperature to something, organic or not, to the absolute zero by just touching it. If I would, I could turn Equestria to an ice wasteland, making it impossible to thaw it with the sun. Celestia would be powerless in front of me... and this is not the only power I have."

With a simple glare of her eyes, Laurel and Marble started to gain consciousness... only to be prone to some kind of hyposis. Both ponies could hear calming voices saying what they should do and the former, after standing up and unfolding his new vampony wings, tries to withstand the mental control but it was only a matter of time before becoming a "children" like Scarlet and the other vampires.

"Ill... Illusion... hel... p me... ARGH!"

Carter aims for her again.

'She's tired! Perfect!' thought Carter to himself. He made another corkscrew dash for her this time It should hit.

Blue manages to punch a couple more of the batponies, still enraged that they attempted to attack his friends.

"What's the matter, Scarlet?! Did I just leave the almighty predator tired and weakened?! Oh, isn't this just absolutely precious!" Illusion had said harshly, letting out a somewhat manic laugh.
Were he in any sort of calm state, he'd have thought it a miracle that he could've very nearly subdued a vampony in just three clean hits.
But Illusion wasn't calm anymore; far from it. And this was the reason he'd rushed up, grabbed the Mare, and began physically slamming her into the wall with a surprising amount strength behind him, disregarding everything else around him as his newfound rage began to overwhelm him.

It really was quite shocking that he could actually get this mad. Almost horrifying, actually.

The real problem, though? Carter wouldn't be able to hit Scarlet without also crashing into the Unicorn attacking her, and even if he could, she seemed to be in bad enough shape as it was.

Oh, and Arctic was an issue, too. She existed.

Match called out his warning to the others, "Allies, exit through the portal while you still can." Match's own magic becomes increasingly unstable, with small uncontrolled flares beginning to manifest from his enflamed aura.

Blue goes through the portal after kicking another batpony who tried to sneak up on him.

Carter saw Illusion start hitting Scarlet against the wall. He tried to stop himself, but there was one tiny problem. HE COULDN'T STOP HIMSELF! He was going at a speed now that could knock out a pony in a single blow. He braced for impact.

Carter hit Illusion and then Scarlet, crushing her against the wall. As a result, she fainted on the floor.

Now that the most dangerous vampony has been knocked out for a while, the two ponies look to Laurel and Marble who are trying to resist Arctic's mind control. The brown pony seems to be the one who is resisting the most but it would have been a matter of time before turning into a monster, both physically and mentally.

Carter stands up and holds the back of his neck. He only has about 5 hours left. He walks over to Illusion.

"You alright?" asked Carter.

Match's magic continues to fall out of his control as he lets more and more of it out into his now blisteringly hot surroundings.

"Fine... Just absolutely, [glow=red,2,300]perfectly[/glow] fine..." Illusion had said, panting heavily as he stood up off the ground, brushing himself off.
Now, if that wild look in his eyes would just go away, it'd probably have made his statement more believable. Right now, it just looked like he was about to beat the living daylights out of anything he saw that had fangs, and was only vaguely aware of Marble and Laurel being controlled.

Turns out the next thing he saw was Arctic. That just made him even more angry.

"Ruin my life, take the sun away from me, and now you're going to try and take my freedom... By making me into a puppet...! [glow=red,2,300]I'm nopony's puppet...![/glow]"

Illusion then turned to Carter, and a sharp chill went down the Pegasus' spine as he made eye contact.
"Don't miss." He had said. And before Carter could've properly questioned this, the unicorn's horn began to glow, and he found himself being lifted off the ground and made to face the Alicorn that was the source of all their problems.

With only a two second delay, Illusion threw the Pegasus right at her with all the magical might he could possibly spare.
High speed was his thing, wasn't it? If that was the case, hitting Arctic while going at high speeds should've been easy for him. If anything, he should be going faster. There was no reason to pull any punches, after all.

"Well this was unexpected, but oh well." said Carter. He shrugged and started flying faster and faster. He was nearing top speed (past rainboom speed, but for the sake of the rp, I dialed it down.) If this hit, Artic would be DONE.

"Flee you foals!? Match cries out to the others who had yet to pass through the portal. His own power was charging into volatile levels, and he dreaded the thought of innocents being caught on his blaze of glory.

They understimated Arctic Star. As soon as she noticed [with the help of her vampony instincts] Carter flying towards her, she jumps backwards and created a statue of herself in the place. An lifeless ice clone.

"I told you: resistance is futile. You cannot reverse the change and you won't return to your regular aspects... and yet you keep fighting. Is that your wish? To be the prey rather than the predator? Nonsense. Imagine your dear friends turning into one of us. They'll be happy to be a step higher than you ponies in the pyramid. What your Laurel and Marble want is some love and affection from me... to alleviate their pain. You are only delaying the inevitable."

While the princess finished her monologue, Laurel has already started crawling towards the portal after being freed temporarily from the mind control. He lost his glasses but he didn't want to retrieve them because not only it would have been a waste of precious time but... being a vampony gave him a perfect 10/10 sight.
He was tired and anxious but he cannot stop. Just a stretch and it would be out from the hideout full of monsters. Arctic Star got distracted enough to give the brown pony a chance to escape.

"Don't you get it, you daft horse?! This isn't about the cure anymore, but rather getting rid of you! If I'm stuck with fangs, fine, but I won't be a puppet under your control! I won't allow it, not ever!"
Illusion had said defiantly, apparently "calming down" for a moment as he glared coldly at the Alicorn, paying no heed to Match's warning.

Illusion's mind was made up. If Arctic decided she wanted to escape, Match alone wouldn't be able to stop her. But he, however, could at least distract and make the odds that much better.
Maybe he could grab Marble and escape at the last second, but he wasn't counting on it.

If I royally screw up, I would like to think it'd be my own fault... My life, my choices, and I'll take full responsibility for what may happen because of those choices...

Carter hits the clone and spins out behind her. He is in A LOT of pain.

"That was a REALLY hard statue." said Carter. He was grasping one of his wings that had been bent out of place. He could barely even walk.

"If you want to escape, then fine I'll allow it... but it will only delay the inevitable. Soon we'll reach a sufficient number that allow us to invade our puny town. If my calculations are not mistaken, it will take... one night only. On the next sundown, we'll prepare to launch the attack and don't even think to alert everypony. For them we are nothing but a legend. They would never believe you unless you are a princess like those wretched mares. Now go... Cross the portal. It is my final gift for you."

"Enough!" Match shout as his fiery aura expands into a fiery wave of fire, searing both friend and foe. This attack is incredibly taxing on Match's physique, leaving him barely able to stand.

"C-Come on Match! Get everypony and l-let's go!"  Star shouted, having manage to rise to his hooves finally.

Carter tried to make it to the portal, but his wing was In so much pain. He tried to crawl his way there. His whole body felt paralyzed.

Illusion had, upon noticing the big wave of flame heading his way, had hastily pulled up a barrier in an attempt to block it. Unfortunately, the flame broke right through. More fortunately, though, it had apparently lessened the blow, though it still left him fairly exhausted and burnt.
He then looked towards arctic, glaring for a moment before apparently realizing something. "We'll see how long that disbelief lasts when we show them a real-life batpony..." He said, moving towards a certain earth-batpony making his move towards the portal, and nonchalantly shoving him in.

Arctic Star stood still against the attack, backing up a bit, and the fiery wave didn't damaged her... but her teeth were showing, meaning that Match's spell hurt a little. Laurel Crown turned behind to see Match releasing a huge quantity of magic and he tried to protect himself. Burn marks were left on his entire body but the shock wave made by the spell helped him reaching the portal... and the shove pulled by Illusion helped him crossing the portal.
They were now in three who were safe: Star Diver, Blue Comet and Laurel Crown.

Grand Illusion, Match Stick, Carter and Marble Star still have to cross Star's portal.

The icy princess looked at the two unicorns with a nervous glare. She wasn't perfect and even the royal princesses can do mistake... but she didn't thought about the two batponies being showed to Celestia and Luna. Those were a top priority danger to be countered with.
But she forces herself to smile so that the three ponies she was fighting wouldn't notice her tension. She also thought about the instincts that brown pony will have in a few minutes.

"Very well. Keep your friend and show them to your princesses if he or you are able to suppress his instincts. Farewell... we will meet again very soon."

[Yeah, about Marble... I honestly don't think she's gonna really play a part anymore...]

"He goes nuts, we'll just knock 'im out! Offense intended, your children don't really seem to know how to take a hit. Oh, and I'll be taking this." Illusion had said, pulling Carter up to his feet and supporting him on as he walked towards the portal, all the while dragging Marble towards the portal with his magic.

He'd have outright picked her up if he could, but let's say he was a bit tired, and dragging her by the tail was the best he could do... Thankfully, not tired enough to stop him from tossing the two ponies into the portal.
Turning around, he gave the alicorn a cheeky grin, using a hind-leg to push Match towards the portal while he was at it.

"And with all that out of the way. Au revoir!"

And only now did he jump through.

Carter takes his wing and shifts it back into place. Carter lets out the most painful scream anyone's ever heard. The problem was was that he couldn't walk. He could fly, but it would hurt beyond anything else.

Match refuses to cross the portal, saying, "I can't retreat now! Go get help if you want, but I'm finishing what I started," and with that he is back on the offensive, launching as many arcane flares at the vamponies that his regenerating Mana would allow.

"I must try to help!" said Carter. He tried to get up, but he was in so much pain. His wing hurt beyond belief, but he had to find some way to help.

"M-Match, p-please don't do this!"  Star pleaded with him. Oh, how he wished he could move the portal to get him inside!

"Close the portal!" Match orders while continuing his bombardment of the vamponies. "We can't allow them to use it!"

"Match! Come here before the portal closes!" Despite Laurel using his last remaining energies to scream, everything happened so instantly that they couldn't have the time to react.

Laurel Crown escaped from the mind control thanks to Match and Carter's distraction to Arctic Star and managed to reach the portal with a little help from Illusion. Unfortunately Marble Star wasn't lucky. Her pessimistic behavior led her to be an easy victim to Arctic's hypnosis and became another feral batpony. She kicks the yellow pony to free herself but at the cost of Illusion falling into the portal.

The now vampirized Marble began to fly and, after a few loop-de-loops, she tries to swoop against Match. She connect the hit and made the fiery unicorn rolling into the portal too.

After the two unicorns falls roughly in the house, Star's portal closes leaving the unicorn behind. She wasn't a unicorn anymore... but another Arctic Star's daughter.

[I had to do godmodding for two reasons. The first being "kicking out" Misty Fly because he doesn't do anything useful or active and thinks he's useless... which is a no-no for roleplayers, and he didn't wrote here for almost a week. Second is to "save" Match Stick because if annosrules derailed too much in the story, the portal would have closed and he would have been out of the RP just like the former.

Match struggles to his hooves from the prone mass he was left in by Marble's unexpected betrayal. "I was so close! he shouts in anger. "So close..."

Star felt relieved when the portal closed, but was shocked and sad to see what had happened to Marble.

"No...! No, no, NO! Marbey!" Illusion had yelled out, rushing up to the wall_[1] where the portal had just been, feeling around a bit as if trying to find a way to open it back up, before smashing a hoof into said wall in frustration. "FAUST DARN IT!" He had then cursed.

Shaking in either anger or exhaustion, the unicorn soon fell backwards onto his rear, eerily silent as he stared at where the portal once was.

Carter just couldn't even walk. He was just sitting there and preening his wings.

"T-Try not to destroy my h-home,"  Star reprimanded Illusion.

After taking a deep breath and regaining his composure, Match says, [color=orange ]"We've got no time left to waste, Arctic will be attacking tomorrow night and we have no idea how many hours we have until the transformation is complete and we all suffer the same fate as Marble and the rest if Arctic's pawns. Star, if you think your up to it, I should be able to coax the Royal Guard into action if I had access to our headquarters."[/color]

"Dawn..." Illusion had said. "We have until dawn to do whatever we need to do, regardless of transformation. But we can't rely on the guards alone; there's a very real chance they could be overpowered by these vamponies, especially if Arctic joins the fray. And if they get turned, the situation just gets worse."

It was only now that the unicorn had stood back up onto his hooves. "Alternatively, if we can get to Canterlot before the sun rises, we can try to take this matter directly to the princesses. If we take Laurel there, too, there's no way the guards would slow us down if we show them how real the vamponies are. I imagine we have around five hours left. If we leave now, we could probably get there on foot before time runs out, assuming there's no batponies waiting for us."

"But speaking of Laurel..." Illusion had then rushed to the former earth-pony's side, looking very much concerned. "Are you alright, pal? You still you, in a way that's sane?"
He was on guard, though. If Laurel reacted with a vampiric frenzy and escaped, they were pretty much all doomed without the concrete proof his very existence provided. His own small fangs, bite mark, and slit pupils weren't going to be enough evidence.

Blue is a bit dizzy due to going through the portal, but regains himself.  "Yeah, we should try to take this matter to the princesses.  That's a very good idea."

Laurel Crown became a batpony. Something that the group feared about and after they saw what happened to Marble, they started being worried about the brown pony. Instead he wasn't attacking them... but stare at nothing with a tired expression, almost insomniac. There were dark circles under his eyes, his glasses were missing, the mane was a complete mess and instead of the regular regular pupils, he has slit pupils.
He was never been a pony of action and adventure, so the experience created a huge traumatic scar on his mind.

"Arctic Star's mind control has got to be one of the worst things I've ever experienced." He replies while roll up himself with his hooves, like if he was trying to protect himself from the cold. "I could hear her voice non-stop, telling me to not be afraid and to hunt down my friends. If Carter didn't distract her, I could have turned into a monster... just like Marble..... Does anyone have something to drink? I feel a little thirsty."

At first, it seems it came out of nowhere... but in reality, it was his batpony thirst that was tempting him to bite his friends. He thought some milk or fruit juice could stop the thirst for awhile.

But instead of caring about his new aspect or the thirst, he decided to take the reins of the team just like before and began explaining his plan.
"The first thing we should do is to advice Princess Luna before dawn. Being the princess of the night, she should know a fact or two, or even 107, about these vamponies and Arctic Star. That pony is extremely dangerous. Everypony should've noticed the mastery on ice and how her hooves can reach the absolute zero. If my deduction is correct, she may be an ancestral alicorn princess..... so maybe with Luna at our flank, we may have a chance against her. That's why we should go after her." With all his efforts of showing courage and determination, the brown vampony go to Star Diver. "Did you created the portal to your home? Can you do the same by teleporting us to the royal castle?"

Luckily, Blue had some apple juice in his bags and he pours Laurel a glass of it. 

"There you go, I hope it quenches your thirst a little." He says, chuckling nervously.

[Hoo boy, this is a bit awkward... I'm not the one in control of the story, but I'm still gonna go ahead and say NO, Misty, I'm afraid you're not in the RP anymore, not unless you count being a mind-controlled batpony minion. Sorry.   :c]

Illusion let out a small growl. "If those scavengers hadn't have stolen my cart, I might have had something to give you. Something that doesn't involve the meeting of fangs and necks."
However, at the mention of Luna, he shook his head. "Taking one Alicorn princess wouldn't guarantee anything. If we can manage it, we should try and bring both sisters into this. If all else fails, Celestia could throw the sun at them as a last ditch effort. Though, admittedly, that would probably end poorly for both parties. Still, it'd probably be better than the alternative."

"The point I'm trying to make is that, the way I see it, we have ONE CHANCE. If our plan falls apart for ANY reason, we're all doomed!"

"I agree with what you are saying." said Carter. He seriously could not move anyway besides flying. His wings ached SO much. (Sorry just trying to get into character.)

"Can somepony please help me up?" asked Carter.

When Star heard Laurel's request, he seemed to withdraw slightly into himself.

"I-Isn't there some other w-way?" he asked in an almost pleading tone.

"Star, you were able to teleport us all here from Celestia knows where. You CAN get us to Canterlot, and I can take it from there." Match says in a soothing and uplifting manner.

"Oh, right. Sorry." Illusion had said, moving over to the injured Pegasus and offering a hoof up to his feet.
Turning to Star, though, he simply stared. "We could walk." He said flatly. Judging from the expression on the unicorn's face, though, he wasn't exactly thrilled with that idea.

Shaking his head, he then sighed. "This is important... Every second we waste is a second Arctic is using to prepare for what might as well be a war with all of Equestria. If it's at all possible... Please...!"

[Misty Fly: I had to exclude you because you derailed more than once and saying "i'm useless" in roleplay. As someone who did a few roleplays, I can assure you that you HAVE to play and take part in the story by waiting for the right occasion, not for the occasion waiting for you. I know it was harsh but, being a thriller roleplay with a pre-fixed storyline and not an open roleplay, I should expect serious business from the players... not to be rude with everyone.]

"Thanks Blue" Laurel drinks the apple juice given from the blue pegasus. He felt satisfied at least. After that issue has been solved, he could finally concentrate on the problem. "A train to Canterlot lasts among three or four hours. That would mean we have one or two hours to explain to Princess Luna the problem. About the metamorphosis, that's the least of our problems. From what I heard from Arctic Star, she said there is a cure... but she didn't specify it. Maybe she slipped it out of control or she's so secure of herself that telling the cure won't change anything. Okay colts, what should we do? Shall we go search Illusion's cart or go to Canterlot and alert Princess Luna as soon as possible?"

"With the safety of all equestria in jeopardy, I say we port to Canterlot ASAP. Star's advanced teleport techniques should be enough to get us there, and then I'll pull some strings and get us swift audience with whomever it concerns."

"Thanks." Carter started to fly. His pain was so immense when flying as well, but he could push through it.

"They have my cart, so looking now won't help at all, and even if they didn't It wouldn't help much for our situation. I only hope the defenses I've put on that thing before-hoof have blown up more batponies than it was worth for them. Once Arctic's dealt with, we can probably raid the vampony lair and find it. I, for once, agree with Match, we should head straight to Canterlot."

"Very well."

Laurel Crown goes to Star Diver, placing his hooves on the unicorn's shoulders and tries to inspire him at doing the same speel he did when Arctic attacked them... but his new look as a vampony wasn't at his advantage.

"Star, we need you to create a portal to Canterlot Castle. We have to inform Princess Luna about the situation and if there really is a cure for the vampirism. You managed to create a portal between the lair and your home. Can you do the same by creating a portal between here and the castle?"

"I-It's the only w-way?" Star asked Laurel shakily.

"If we have to alert Princess Luna without wasting as much time as possible, then yes."

Star nodded. and stepped away from Laurel.

"Do any of you have a picture of the castle?"  he asked the group. "I've never been there before."

Blue gives Star a picture of the castle "I've been there a couple of times"

"I'm surprised someone like you doesn't know what the castle looks like." said Carter. He smiled even though he was in pain.

"Y-Yeah,"  Star answered Carter, not meeting his eyes. He took a good look at the picture, then handed it back to Blue. Clearing the space before him, he began to focus. The overlapping circles once again began to glow, and a couple cold draft swept the room, despite the windows and doors being closed.

And the screaming began again.

But he shook it off.

A wavering portal appeared in front of him, showing the gate to Canterlot Castle.

"Beautiful! Let's go!"

After Laurel said it, he doesn't waste the opportunity as he jumps on the portal, arriving at the gates.

Illusion looked back and forth between Star and the portal, hesitating for a few seconds before he followed the Earth Pony.
As much as he wanted to make sure the other stallion was alright, making sure Laurel stayed safe was his number one priority right now.

"See? I knew you could do it," Match says supportively to Star before crossing the portal.

Carter flies through the portal. He hoped and he prayed that the batponies didn't invade a bit of Canterlot already. (That is where his friend's shop is.)

(I'll be gone for a day)

Star shakily made his way through the portal he had created. His head was pounding, and the voices were louder this time.

Blue took the picture and went through the portal, arriving at Canterlot.

"Yay, we made it." He said.

After the group crossed the portal, the latter disappears leaving the six soon-to-be vamponies in front of the gates... but they couldn't even take a breif moment of cheer that a voice calls them.

"Halt! Who goes there!"

A group of winged ponies came over and point their spears at the group. Their armor, unlike the common gold one that regular guards wear, was made of a dark blue metal with silver crescent moons as their icons on the plate. They were the Night Patrol: Princess Luna's personal guards composed of batponies.
Batponies were that special race of ponies born with their main features (bat wings, slid pupils and long teeth) naturally and their bite doesn't actually make other batponies, while vamponies are those ponies who got "infected" by Arctic Star's syndrome.

This is what Laurel Crown knows about the batponies and that means batponies are not connected to the icy princess and they're not as dangerous as their known enemy. The brown pony came forward and tries to do his best impression to convince the Night Patrol.

"We have something extremely important to tell to Princess Luna of the Night [this is what she's formally known]. Something so important that Equestria will be at stake if we cannot tell her what danger we are running into."

"Yeah... I would take you to the princess if the rule do not say "No entry allowed to strangers and John Does". If you really have an urgent messages to Her Majesty, I want a solid confirm that those ponies of yours can tell the same." he said who seems to be the captain of the Night Patrol, indicating the other five ponies with a hoof.

Carter knew Princess Luna personally, but he didn't the guards knew him personally. So he made an excuse.

"Well we have a guard with us." he said.

"Match Stick of the Royal Guard Unicorn Division, sir, and I bear grim news of the uttermost urgency for the Princesses ears only," Match confirms in a highly disciplined manner befitting a Guardspony who's on duty.

"This is beyond important, sirs! Only the aid of the Princess Luna can help us at this point, and I'm afraid we can't afford to waste time!"

We really need to see Princess Luna stat! Like Illusion said, we have absolutely no time to waste!

"Ahhh, an unicorn guard." he replied upon seeing Match Stick. "Well, looks like your problem is a serious one if a guard is involved. Follow me to the throne room."

The Night Patrol's captain order to his companions to warn the princess and then he enters to the castle while being followed by the group. They were excited to see the princess... they were nervous to how she will react upon seeing them... they have been thinking really hard to what words using to talk to her...
What seemed to be hours of waiting, after minutes of walking in the corridors, they finally reach the throne room where Princess Luna was sitting on top of the throne and looking at some papers along with her secretary.
In the instant she notice the group, she pass magically the paper to the secretary.

"I have been warned of your visit. You said it is something so important that the sake of Equestria depends on it... Tell me, what is it that you came here so-- Gasp!" Upon seeing Laurel Crown, she give a deep look making the brown pony uncomfortable. "There is something wrong with your appearance. You're a batpony but, at the same time, you look nothing like a batpony."

"Well, Princess Luna of the Night, I am not a batpony... I'm a vampony."

"Vampony?"

[BlazingInfinity: To avoid possible shanenigans, your Carter doesn't know Luna personally in this RP.]

Illusion had stepped forward, deeming it appropriate that he take part in the conversation as well. "Creatures of the night that drain the... energy... of normal ponies, and in this case, infect them. And I'm afraid I must say he is not the only one, Princess of the Night, just the one among us whose transformation has been completed. There was one other, but she... she's gone."

He hesitated for a brief moment at this point before continuing, trying not to remember that particular event. "But as distressing as our situation is, it is more than just our lives at stake. By the next sunset, Equestria will be under siege by a powerful Alicorn and the Vamponies she has brought under her control, all in an attempt to bring about an eternal winter, one where the sun simply doesn't exist! Our purpose, I believe, was to serve as additional bodies in the invasion."

"A powerful alicorn and her vamponies?" Princess Luna got up from her throne and she came closer to the ponies, looking at Laurel Crown with intensity before setting her eyes to the unicorn. "You have pique my interest but I have one question to you. If you did met that alicorn and her swarm of vamponies, do you remember her name?"

Match keeps a careful eye on Laurel, not knowing how long he had left before fully succumbing to the vampony's curse.

Carter bows and stands back up.

"Dear Princess of the Night, the Vampony's name was Artic Star." Carter replied.

"Of course. It is as our Pegasus companion has stated, she is referred to as Mistress Arctic Star by her "Children". But her full name? Stella Magnifica Arctica. I'll never forget that name, not after what she did to us..."

When Carter stood back up he cracked his hoof. You could hear it for miles. It hurt SO much to him. But now he could walk again.

"Stella Magnifica Arctica? Impossible..." Princess Luna began trotting back and forward, diving in her own thought.

After a few minutes of the princess walking around, she stops and talks to the group.

"Stella Magnifica Arctica, or simply Arctic Star, was a fellow student of mine. I found her centuries ago in the Ice Wastelands, located north of where the Crystal Empire is when it was under Sombra's curse. She was a talented student and a child prodigy... maybe even too much. When she was under my wing, Arctic Star was considered the pioneer of cryokinesis, being able to create and even manipulate ice at her own will. Despite her vast intellect that could even top Twilight Sparkle's before she was elected princess, her mind was too broken to be healed. Born as an orphan, she never met her parents. She never had friends... All she wanted was having a family to live together. But why she would want to create an entire army of batponies and conquer Equestria? That doesn't make sense."

Then she muttered something. "More like the third thing that doesn't make sense in an entire moon cycle. First that batpony, second Arctic returning with a vengeance and now... all of you have the same traits as those... vamponies, such as long teeth. What is happening? Nothing can go unnoticed under the silver rays of the moon."

"No offence princess, but these matters certainly have gone unnoticed. I fear that Arctic Star only let us go because it was part of some nefarious plot, and the fact that you were unable to detect her activities only adds to the seriousness of her threat. So it with great regret that I must ask for the restraint of all those affected by this curse, lest we ourselves fall victim to Arctic's control."

"That's nonsense. While I can see the noble purpose of being restrained in order to avoid chaos between the pony community, doing so it's against my moral. Taking innocents to the dungeons is something that my sister would feel disgusted... and I already have my sins to bear. You said Arctic will come to invade Equestria by the next sunset?" She questioned Illusion.

"Then I should prepare the Night Patrol because the next night will be the night where Equestria is at gamble. About you ponies, you're all going to rest in some of our chambers in the West Tower so that the sun won't touch you until sunset. Until then, I'm going to call you when the time is right. One more thing: you're going to meet a companion. She's a vampony like you but a rather peculiar one and she's on our side. With you seven at my side, we are going to counter the menace."

"As you wish," Match says solemnly whilst giving the ceremonial bow of submission to Princess Luna.

The six ponies were being escorted by Princess Luna and the Night Patrol to some of the rooms in the West Tower. They all have two beds in each room, with all the comforts and the windows being barricated so that the sun won't reach inside. Instead of the natural light source, the room is well-lighted by candles.

"For today you will rest here. The corridor has the windows sealed so that you can roam free here. When the time comes, all fo you will be called."

In one of those rooms there was somepony. From the aspect it wasn't a regular pony or a guard for that matter. It was more like... a vampony!

"Who's there?"

[Now Julien. This is the moment]

((I'm feeling so awkward and nervous right now... x3 ))

[glow=white,2,300]"Whaa-?!"[/glow] The vampony falls from the bed as soon Laurel calls out. That was unexpected for her to hear new voice.

[glow=white,2,300]"oww... I never thought that we have guests Princess Luna of the night."[/glow]

The vampony gets back on her hooves and then she notices Laurel having bat wings and a long teeth like her. She have no word before she ask to the Princess. [glow=white,2,300]"Wait, are this pony is a vampony like me?"[/glow]

Keeping his attention on princess Luna, Match asks her, "May I request that the door be locked behind you? At the very least it will prevent somepony from accidentally wandering out into the sunlight, or else let the sunlight in."

(Sorry something happened to my wifi! And it just got back today.)

"I'm ready for anything!!!" replied Carter. He was stoked for this.

(Don't worry Julien. As long as you are coherent to the story, it will be fine. :) )

"Understood. Lock the door." With the guards receiving the order, they lock the entrance entrapping the group in the room with the mysterious vampony.

Laurel approaches to the pony with utmost caution. "You are a vampony too... Do you know Princess Luna? Does that mean you're not one of Arctic Star's... -glom- ...daughters?"

"So Princess Luna... How much time do you think we might have if we have any?" asked Carter. He was stoked to fight next to Princess Luna (Hopefully)

Pleased with the group's limited captivity, Match's attention was turned towards the new vampony who had a lot of explaining to do.

[glow=white,2,300]"Arctic Star's daughters? I heard about Arctic Star but... Me? Her daughter?"[/glow] the vampony wondering and tries to remember. [glow=white,2,300]"I don't think so that Arctic Star is my mom... I left my "family" a long time ago."[/glow]

"What does it matter if you're one of hers or not...? By tomorrow night, it won't make much of a difference. Unless you know about a cure for our condition and yours, I'm afraid there's nothing much to discuss." Illusion had Immediately said once the other vampony had finished talking, before he moved forward, walking right past her and crawling into the bed she had previously been on.
"You all can discuss whatever you feel best... It's been a long and stressful night, though, and I for one would like to get some sleep, and maybe sleep through the day I'll never see again... Good night. Or day. Whatever."

And with that, the unicorn turned over, facing away from the others as he closed his eyes, not even bothering with the covers.
His infection, the disastrous negotiations, the loss of Marble as a result of the ambush, and knowing that he and the others might never see the sun again... It's not an easy thing to handle, and the stress had caught up with him, if his change of attitude was anything to go by.

"Well I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to stand watch." said Carter.

The vampony does not understand what Illusion is saying and it's quite confusing for her.
[glow=white,2,300]"A cure for my condition? I don't need any cure for the moment."[/glow]

((Maybe I saw what's happened, but she don't know what is happening.))

Blue does not have a lot of patience right now as he fears he might become a batpony and be used in this so called "batpony army". 

"We're not talking about you.  We're talking about us."  He says, trying to keep his patience as best he can.

[Sorry for the absence X3]

"Well... it all began when us ponies woke in a orchard with no memories prior the awakening and bite marks on our necks..." Laurel explained everything to the batpony, especially the encounter with Scarlet and the escape from Arctic Star's ambush.

[glow=white,2,300]"So... vamponies, like me, bite you and other ponies to become Arctic Star's childrens? And one of you fell in her mind control? To raise an army and conquer all Equestria? That's terrible! I never imagined such thing..."[/glow] She said.

((Don't worry, everyone are busy at something. Nothing else Luna could say to the group about this "peculiar" vampony?))

"Well like I said... I'm going to stand watch." replied Carter.

"Me neither.  We need to find a solution to this problem before it's too late!" He says.

[Luna already took off.]

"Oh. I almost forgot: the presentation." he extends his hoof. "My name is Laurel Crown. Pleased to meet you."

((Luna is already gone? Okay.))

She hesitates a bit before taking Laurel's hoof and shake it slowly. [glow=white,2,300]"M-my name is White Night.[/glow] She smiles.

Star stood at the back of the group, still shivering from the aftereffects of opening portals one after the other so quickly.

Blue also extends his hoof to shake White's hoof "I'm Blue Cloud."

"Hey, I'm Carter." he said. He just kept standing at the door.

His face now firmly into the bed's pillow, Illusion said only two muffled words that sounded vaguely like his name.

"I didn't hear you, Illusion"

In response, the unicorn just waved a hoof dismissively, mumbling something else into the pillow that was almost certainly something along the lines of "Don't care.".

Apparently, he wasn't really in the mood for friendliness or anything of the sort.

Match sits down beside Star and says, "You did good kid. Without you, I don't know how we could've gotten out of that mess."

Star nodded jerkily at Match.

"T-Thanks," he mumbled.

"hmm hmm hmm hmm." Carter hums.

"So what's the plan now? We can't fight somepony like Arctic Star unless we outsmart her and foil her plot."

Illusion mumbled something once more. However, this time, he apparently got tired of not being heard properly, and lifted his head up.
"We can't fight her, period. End of story. In case you've forgotten, we're going to be vamponies by next sunset. And in case you've forgotten that other fact, we can't go near Arctic without her doing some freaky mind nonsense and turning us against our allies."

"All we can really do, hero, is sit back, let the princesses stomp her, and watch our lives crumble into ruin without being able to do another Faust-darned thing about it. Or would you rather risk the fate of Equestria on a stupid plan?"

"All we can do is waiting here... and becoming vamponies..." he said despite already being a vampony. Just that thought made him depressed and he decided to sleep in one of those comfortable beds.

As time passes the five ponies felt a slow and painful feeling on their body. After that, they all became vamponies as now they have ruffled manes, vertical slits and batwings. They couldn't counter the syndrome... it was too late...

Carter is now a vampony. (Can we at least try to find a cure for it.)

Match stands staring into  a mirror, his expression blank, yet full of sorrow. (Do we still have reflections?)

Illusion moaned and groaned in quiet pain as he tried to sleep. But that wasn't the worst part.
The worst part was the nightmares, and the sudden urges he started to feel in the later stages of the transformation.

Combining the two only made the experience more painful, even once he had been fully turned.

"No... No, please...! Not... A monster... D-don't..."

Carter felt his teeth and his spiky wings. He despised every moment of this.

"All this time we spent getting away was for nothing?" he asked.

Blue noticed himself fully turn into a vampony, and tries to fight his frustration with the situation. 

Match takes in a deep breath before turning to the group of now vamponies, and addresses them all by saying, "This is it. We have each now lost our bodies to the curse, now let us not lose our minds to it's bearer as well. I know you're scared, because I am scared, but fear cannot stop us now. Not while there is still a battle to be won. Arctic has no control over us now, and the only way she can is if we give it to her out of our weakness, so we must be strong. We are the only ponies who can fight Arctic without spreading the curse further, so it falls onto us to be the front lines and to stop her before she ever becomes a threat to the innocent ponies, or the Royal Guard who are sworn to stand vigilantly against her, and any other threat. We've all Los more than enough to her cruelties, let not the enemy take the rest. So for our friends, our families, our country ponies, Equestria, and for the Princesses, let us rise to the occasion and write our names into the pages of history as true heroes of the noblest stature!"

"Yeah!" shouted Carter. His mood changed from sad to happy rather fast.

[Sorry for being absent for two weeks but I had so much stuff to do I forgot about the roleplay... and this weekend I won't be at home. Forgive me and keep the rp alive until monday. >.< ]

"Well we need a plan!" said Carter. He slammed his hoof onto the ground.

"Agreed. We need to know what each of us can contribute to this fight, and have a plan on how to use that to our advantage."

Just when the group started working on a plan, the door started making noises. Somepony was unloking the door.
A Night Patrol batpony, complete with silver armor, entered in the room.

"Princess Luna wants you ponies in the throne room. Come with me."

Match marches over to the doorway in accordance to what the Night Patrol had ordered.

The batpony guard raises his voice.

"Her majesty needs the rest of you as soon as possible! We don't have time to waste!"

White Night wakes up and fall off the ceiling as soon the guard raised his voice.

White tries to wake up the other now vamponies. ((I know Match is already gone))

After everyone were gathered, the guard orders them to exit from the room and follow him.
Looking outside, it was nighttime just like before they got sealed in the tower. The night of the attack would have began at any moment.
They finally arrive at the throne room where Princess Luna and a bunch of batponies guards were talking to each other. After the guards got dismissed, the princess look at the group of new vamponies.

"You are finally here... with your new forms unfortunately. I wish I could've helped you reversing the metamorphosis... but I didn't found an alternativa cure for it."

"Pity us not, for tonight we shall make Arctic Star rue the night she cursed us with these forms." Match declares in the formal tone of a true Royal Guard.

Star stood at the back of the group, ashamed of what he has become. He vowed to cleanse himself in the rays of Celestia's sun should he ever lose control of himself.

Carter walks into the throne room.

"Let's find how to get rid of Artic star for ∞!" he said.

"Artic Star is gonna pay for doing this to us!" He shouts, trying to keep his anger about the situation under control.

"Calm down. I know your frustration for being transformed into vamponies... but Arctic Star is an opponent that should not be underestimated."

Princess Luna divert her glance from the ponies and assumed a grim-looking expression.

"...she was one of my favorite students prior to the Exile..."

"Exile..." Laurel asks "You mean... before you got exiled in the moon by Princess Celestia when you were turned into Nightmare Moon?"

It's been a couple of days before I realize that there is a major disinterest from this roleplay and thus I already asked the mods to close it.

"Well, I did studied it for an exam. That's why I went to the hisotry faculty because there are a lot of historical events that ponies do not even know they happened. As far as I recall, Arctic Star is indeed one of Luna's ancient students but that doesn't explain why she turned into an alicorn without the princesses' magic."

"Your mind and intellect are quite sharp for being a simple earth pony. >Very well... I will tell you the story behind these curtains ONLY if you will keep this secret to yourself without telling it around. I'm trusting with all of my faith as the Princess of the Night. It is not a honor... but a burden."

"It's my duty to carry the royals' burdens, and carry out their will," Match states.

Star nodded; he would keep the secret close to his chest.

Their words weren't lying. They were giving honest looks to Princess Luna, knowing that they would have kept the secret from anypony.
The princess felt it and put her heart at ease. She then go looking at the sky, where the twilight draws near, to wait for the night to come.

"I know this battle is unavoidable but... I don't want to kill Stella. Before the endless night, before turning into Nightmare Moon, before battling against my sister... Stella was the only one who could comprehend my suffering. She likes the night, the stars, the moon... She would sleep the entire day so that she would stargazing with me. Now, according to what you said, she turned into a vampony alicorn... an immortal princess... If Celestia didn't exiled me into the moon, I would have prevented Stella from turning into something unthinkable... but I cannot blame my sister for this... only myself for what I wanted to do to Equestria."

The group of vamponies stares to Princess Luna and notices something on her... a couple of tears started descending on her cheeks.

[Too much ellipsis]

"Don't worry princess, neither Arctic Star not her army shall be harmed beyond what is necessary."

"Exactly! We will still harm her though." said Carter as his face turned from happy to serious.

[glow=white,2,300]"Don't worry Princess Luna. We will find a solution for Stella and for others vamponies."[/glow] Said White Night. [glow=white,2,300]"I was born vampony, and I'll help the Princess of the Night."[/glow]

"Thanks... I know I could count on you..." Luna loses the composure for a bit and, after she regains it, she stomp a hoof. "Guards, bring those drinks from our guests"

Two guards were bringing a couple of glasses containing some dense red substance. Suddenly the group started thinking that was...
"Those are special nutrients made specifically to suppress your thirst. As long as you aren't thirsty, your instincts will not be clouded."

Laurel grabs one glass of said nutrients, gives a suspicious look and drinks it in a single gulp. "It's... pretty tasty."

"That's an excessively fancy way of saying it's red wine, don't you think?" Illusion had said bitterly, having previously been eerily silent, his eyes hidden by a strange dark shadow as he had just stared at the floor.
He hadn't given his word, didn't promise anything save for secrecy. And his less than happy thoughts were made clear when he, upon taking one of the glasses with his magic and draining it, had put so much pressure onto it that he ended up crushing it into a fine powder.

"O-oh... My apologies, your majesty. I... I honestly didn't mean to do that..."

"...oook..." she felt embarrassed by how Illusion replied but regain her composure "I want to see you ready at the castle entrance within the hour. The night draws near and we have reach Stella... I mean, Arctic Star's den before they make any move."

Match Stick takes a glass of the red concoction and looks at it for a few seconds before bringing it to his snout and taking in a whiff. The very instant that the smell touched his nose, his new canines lengthened and became the large incisors for an insidious use. Barely able to restrain his desire to attack the glass and take from it it's delectable contents, Match instead to the drink and downed it quickly before coughing due to it's unpleasant taste. "*cough* *cough* Guess this one's an acquired taste," he comments, placing the empty glass back onto the tray.

Carter takes the glass and chugs it down.

"I honestly didn't think it was that bad." he said. He put his glass back.

He then paced back and forth trying to think of a plan himself.

[glow=white,2,300]"Yes, Princess of the Night!"[/glow] Said White Night as she drinks the special nutrients.
[glow=white,2,300]"Mmhmm~ <3 It's indeed pretty tasty! That's one of the good reason to why I stay here!"[/glow]

Blue takes a glass and drinks it's contents. 

Star picked up a glass.  He was about to drink when he noticed his reflection; -  it scared him so much that he downed the glass in one gulp.

"We... We all drank it, I think." Laurel says with some doubts in his head.

"Good. Now follow me to the castle entrance" after saying that, she exit from the throne room followed by the seven ponies.

The entrace was filled with guards. A hundred of batponies and pegasi [those who work overnight] waiting for Princess Luna to give another order. Before she would do so, she turn around at the seven ponies and glow her horn.

"Hold still." A cyan beam hit the group without doing anything... except a strong feeling of relaxation and peace. At least that's what Laurel felt in that moment.

"What is the purpose of this spell?" Match questions Luna, feeling rightly confused by the prospect of pacifying themselves in preparation for battle.

"Mental protection. I deduce Arctic Stare always do some kind of hypnosis spell on whoever turned into a vampony like you, and she'll probably retry in order for you to turn our side and changing the result of this battle. As long as you are with me, she won't even try to hurt you."

Carter closed his eyes. He felt how nice this wave of magic was.

"Very well, ponies. It's all set." says as she spreads her wings along with the other batponies "I hope you learned to flying during all this time."

"I'd just make one request, and that is that I can stop by the barracks on our way out so that I may face this foe in the full glory befitting a Guardspony."

"Fine. I'll give you 15 minutes to prepare yourself. We won't delay anymore."

With a simple nod of her head, she orders two batponies to escort Match Stick to the barracks.

While the added security of the guards was a tad insulting to the guardspony, he none the less fulfills his purpose in good time, probably do to a teleportation spell or to. In any case, Match Stick takes no time at all in the retrieval of his ceremonial armor and is swiftly back into position. "I am ready princess."

Star hadn't used his wings at all; he'd been too frightened to try. He looked around nervously, hoping that it wouldn't prove troublesome.

White Night flies up next to Princess Luna and says [glow=white,2,300]"I'm not sure if they know how to fly... I mean, they have their wings there's only some hours! Well, except those pegasi who already have wings before turning into us vampony..."[/glow]

"I need not wings to conduct my duty, and enact the will of the princesses."

(iambic pentameter FTW)

She responds to Night. "But we don't have enough time to see if they already know how to fly. If they do not feel okay to soar, they could come with us with the chariots for the equipments."

[glow=white,2,300]"Alright, princess of the Night."[/glow] She replies.
[glow=white,2,300]"I'm ready! And I'm not sure when they'll come exactly, but we'll try!"[/glow]

"I'm as ready as I'll ever be." Blue says.

One hour has passed...
Princess Luna, the Night Patrol and the seven ponies came to the same orchard where it is said Arctic Star was last seen.
Hooves on the ground, the winged militia stood still while not showing any sentiment of fear. Laurel Crown could feel the tension in his body and the gut feelings of something horrible would happen no matter how or what. The same thing could be said with everyone. Grand Illusion, Carter, Blue Comet, Match Stick, Star Diver and White Night...

Arctic Star, the icy princess, appears in front of them with her own army of vamponies. She was with Scarlet, the sadist and thirsty vampony, and a whole bunch of batty stallions and mares. Arctic and Luna move forward until they are very close. A little spark could burst a bigger fire.

"Princess Luna. Long time no see... Very long..." she notices the group "So my children are with you. Did you took very good care of them for me?"

[You can react indirectly in the following scenes. Arctic won't notice them]

Match glares at Arctic spitefully, his horn glowing faintly in the night.

Star backed away nervously at sight of Arctic.

[Call me responsible for any corny line I'll write here XD]

"Your children? These ponies do not belong to you nor I. They belong to Equestria... and you won't take them just as you won't take this land."

"My my... One thousand years and you still haven't changed at all. You are still the same Luna I knew when I was a filly."

"And you are not the same Stella I knew before my exile. How Stella? How did you turned into an alicorn? No... into a monster?"

"I was wrong: you, the Princess of Night, calling me a "monster" is so out-of-character but should I blame you for being exiled because of your own weakness?"

Arctic Star replied with those words that felt like several knives sinkin' into Luna's feelings.

Match says nothing against this remark, but still stands at the ready for a fight.

Carter stares at Artic Star and puts his wings in his arc position.

((Whoa! I'm sorry! I was just waiting for someone to counter-reply, but... DX))

"Her weakness? It's not really her fault if she was exiled!" Says White Night.

((I'm so awkward... why it's should be me to counter-reply?))

"What do you say? Not her fault?" She gives a little giggle before replying to Night with a smirk. "It WAS her fault. Going against her own sister for the sake of some jealousy. She turned into Nightmare Moon and thus she was banished to the moon. She... left me alone."

"What do you say Stella? I wouldn't never leave you alone..."

"BUT YOU DID!" her voice echoes in the area.

"Selfish mare, you think it's all about you, don't you? If you really cared, you would have noticed before-hoof and done something before the banishment. Or at least tried." Illusion had suddenly said, his tone almost as cold as the air around the Alicorn he was speaking to. "But going from what I haven't heard, I guess you don't. Instead, now, you take away ponies' lives and bring them into your own in order to cope with the crippling loneliness that you, and you alone, brought on yourself."

"It's quite sad, really. So many vamponies, and yet not a single one to call a friend."

[Wow Stryder... You nailed it  O:]

"What do you know about loneliness? NOTHING!" The only moment where the icy alicorn loses her composure was enough to feel her powerful presence. The wind was howling, as if it tries to warn the ponies about her might. "When you were foals, you could wait for your parents to return home for hours... I had to wait for my princess, my mentor, the only pony who actually cared for me for years! I didn't want to live on the wastelands again... All I wanted was having a family... and so, after being turned into an alicorn on my own, I created this family for all those ponies that one day they'll be alone on their own. They won't feel loneliness forever and so will I!"

"Stella..." she says in front of Arctic Star's despair and fear

"While we comprehend that you are afraid to be alone again, what you did to everyone, us and your "chieldren", is still wrong. In order to create your family, you stripped all these ponies from THEIR own families. We may forgive you for suffering like that... but we will not forgive you for this hypocritical plan!"

"How dare you speaking like that to your mother? I created you... and I can take you apart!"

Enraged, Arctic Star's horn glows with an intense azure light that can almost blind everywhere that stands in front of her. The princess, the guarda and the seven ponies had to cover their eyes.

Match closes his eyes with surprising swiftness, but not before releasing the magic he had built up in his horn, sending a fiery bolt whizzing towards Arctic Star.

"You will only make your situation worse!" Illusion shouted, his eyes already closed before-hoof, as they usually were. "You'll be hated by everyone you know! Take just one look at one of your children, and ask yourself how much they'd love you without you forcing them to! In fact, why don't you go ahead and ask them!? It's high time you shattered this illusion you've built for yourself!"

"No Illusion. You don't get it..." says a tense Laurel. "Arctic Star's vamponies are brainwashed!"

"Nice deduction since you escaped from my control. Now then... Allow me to show the powers of Stella Magnifica Arctica, the pioneer of cryokinesis!"

By stomping her hooves, the ground turns suddenly into ice giving only but a very short period of time to react and avoid her trap.

[I should have said that before... Like they did with Cadance, her full name means "Magnificent Arctic Star" in Italian.]

"That's what I meant by force, you dunce!" Illusion suddenly snapped with uncharacteristic aggression as he hopped up into the air, holding himself there with his telekinesis. But for how long? Self-levitation wasn't an easy feat to perform for long.

Night covered her eyes from the light, but she can not see what's happening.
When she opens her eyes, she found the ground that is now ice and slippy. Fortunately, she can fly.

[glow=white,2,300]"Wow... it's true that's powerful... but you can not recover what you lost if you continue in this way."[/glow]

The fiery bolt couldn't hit the alicorn due to the freezing aura anypony could feel near her as it evaporates. Scarlet reacts on instinct and pounce against Match Stick. The other vamponies started to fly towards their opponents.

Match couldn't react in time and is tackled by Aura. Stunned, he is unable to respond immediately.

(I'm sorry for not posting in a very long time.  I'm not on very often these days, so I'm considering leaving the RP)

Everypony dodges Arctic's attack... except Blue Cloud. Like the ground beneath his hooves, the ice covers him entirely making him an ice statue.
Due to the extreme temperature descent, he was already out of the game by the moment the ice got him.

Laurel Crown lands on his hooves and realize the ice cannot freeze him. Of course what Arctic did was only to create an icy field for whatever reason.

"We can land safely here... but I don't think it'll be wise to do it."

Laurel Crown, after getting used to finally flying with his new wings, flies towards Scarlet to save Match Stick and bumps against her with a quick yet strong tackle.

Carter decides to monitor the attacks until he can figure out when there is an opening.

Match scuttles backwards and away from Arctic's oncoming onslaught, a little more than frightened by its magnitude.

Scarlet wipes her mouth with a hoof. While Match and Laurel were staring at the female vampony, the battle between the two forces had begun.
"Hehehe... Look at yourself. Do you like your new look? You can be like that forever if you join our family."

Carter sees an opening to join and jumps into the battle, landing right next to Laurel and Match.

All at once, Match's fear turned into rage, "I will never join you!" Match stands firmly as his horn glows vigorously with arcane power.

Scarlet grins at the sight of White Night. "Another vampony... I thought you ponies remained at six after what happened to your little precious Marble. Guess it's my lucky night because it means seven more children to join in."

While Scarlet was strutting off, Laurel Crown was feeling something when he got near Match Stick. He felt something strange. he couldn't find the words to describe it properly. "...what... what is that?"

Match's fearless stance against Arctic fully activates his mana well, and his floodgates are opened up to his companions, filling them with both vigor and power. (Nearby allies now have increased resistance to being scared, and buff to their magical abilities.) "You shall claim none of my friends for your vile brood this night!"

Carter just sat there ready for another attack or any slight movements. Any of those and he would burst at it at the speed of sound.

In other words: her feelings towards you are fake. She will never love you like she did with my mother. Enough talk and sick burns... It's time to say goodnight for the last time!"

Scarlet flies towards Laurel, Match, White and Carter with unmatched speed. The latter would have reacted quickly to counterattack but Laurel, for some reason, was able to do something unexpected.
"NO!" For a brief moment a green shield appeared to protect the group and Scarlet bounces back and land roughly on the ice.
"What..." "How the tartarus you..."

[I hope it's okay since I want to put Match's manawell in good use. Carter... you can attack as soon as you got the chance to write the next action ^^]

An unearthly screech was heard before long as Scarlet stared in disbelief(?), and a horrible chill could then be felt, one that had nothing to do with Arctic.
Turning to look, one would've immediately seen Illusion racing at her with a speed that would've made many Pegasi jealous. And possibly afraid.

And the expression on his face... Well, such things should not be graced with a description. The look in his now-open eyes, too, was downright terrifying.

If she was going to do anything, it had to be now; already the other vampony was bringing a hoof up in mid-flight, ready to knock her right out. Or worse.

"W-Wait... maybe there is an explanation." says Laurel as if he did to rebut the vampony. "When I came near Match Stick, I felt something strange. It was like getting a sudden surge of energy and when I thought about protecting my friends from beasts like you... That energy came out just like what I wanted to happen. It was like I had the same developed magic lobe as the regular unicorns. I was able to create magic despite being an earth pony."

Match looks confused by Laurels' claim, but says nothing against.

((Uh, inactivities again? I'm sure that's because everyone are waiting each other that they don't know who should reply before.
Also, when Laurel said "beast like you", my brain is thinking like "uh, you are also including White Night as a beast..."))

White Night is surprised from the now vampony unicorn's speed. Totaly unexpected.

"Yeah... prrr... Who gives a thing about your "magic lobe"? The only thing I truly give is seeing you suffer."

Scarlet tried to pounce against the group but she got repelled by Illusion's intervention. With quick reflexes, she lands on the ice with her hooves. "You again..."

One of the few things Illusion gave in return was an almost feral snarl as he landed on the ice, his pupils dilated and his eyes twitching as he focused intently on the Vampony that ruined his life.
"Scar... let... You..." He could barely even speak coherently with the raw emotion he was feeling. As he began to advance menacingly, there was only was sentence he could utter properly. [glow=red,2,300]"The only thing I truly give is seeing you suffer..."[/glow]

That one repeated sentence alone spelled out his intentions.

The combination of his Vampony affliction, adrenaline, and anger was making it very difficult for him to think straight, or to think of anything at all that WASN'T a way to make Scarlet and/or Arctic hurt as much as possible.

Match stuck around the side lines for long enough, and a fiery bolt declares his resolve as it heads straight for Arctic at a hellish pace.

Scarlet smirks as she knew what to do against an opponent like Grand Illusion. She may be violent and feral... but not stupid!
Confronting Illusion directly, considering what he did during the first encounter, was too dangerous. Instead of flying towards the unicorn... she goes against Carter.

Arctic was fighting against Princess Luna in a flying battle until the icy alicorn senses the fiery bolt and launches an freezing bolt against it. The impact generated thousands of sparkles.
"Umph... After I had done with her, I will teach you the etiquette."

Match begins a gallop towards Arctic and Lunar, raising his wings as he does so as well as continuing to barrage Arctic with his Fire magic.

Carter sees Scarlet flying toward him and he smirks. He flies towards her at an even faster speed just in case she tries to dodge and bite him.

Scarlet keeps rushing towards Carter

[Your chance, if you wish to attack]

Right when Carter was about to collide with Scarlet he smiled, stopped, and went above her.

Illusion hadn't missed a beat, and had a wicked smile on his features as he saw Scarlet running away in fear, instinctively leaping after her and taking flight, ignoring the tiny little voice warning him that he might be running into a trap.
He was aiming for her back, and her neck. As he flashed his fangs, there was no doubt about what he was going to end up doing if he had his way.

Fire with fire, as the saying goes...

Scarlet stopped to look at Carter, giving the flanks to Illusion.

Annoyed by Match Stick's fiery barrage, she creates a magical wind that tries to repel the unicorn away, so that Arctic will focus on attacking Princess Luna.

(So basically I'm still attacking her?)

Illusion's wild grin went even wider as Scarlet left herself wide open. In those few seconds, he had landed on her back, his legs wrapping tightly around her to prevent being shaken off so easily.

There was only one thing left to do. The newer Vampony's fangs flashed menacingly as he lunged for the other's neck.

Match's wings catch the magical wind and takes him into the air, whether he's now able to fly himself in the proper direction remains to be seen. The surprise of suddenly being airborne halts Match's barrage as he regains his bearings.

Carter wondered what just happened when he saw Illusion about to bite Scarlet.

'Wait can a vampony bite another full vampony? And would that vampony feel pain or anything?' he thought. Anyway he rushed to where the fight with Artic is going on.

"...you fool..." Scarlet smirks once again. They don't know why: maybe because of her sadistic character or because she was trying to fool Illusion? "You cannot drink another vampony. Everypony knows that they're like living empty shells of their previous lives. Are you really desperate to suck thin air? Ahahah..."

"Actually... there's a contradiction in your statement." says Laurel.

"What? Don't play Ace Attorney on me!"

"If you remember: it was not you drinking from our bodies that made us what we are now. It's the bite. These ponies, unlike me, have turned into vamponies by just waiting for nine hours to end... while me have turned quickly because of you and your deranged habit. So the only conclusion I could have guessed is: "It's the bite and not the drinking the cause of the transformation"... and I assume you turned into a vampony by biting as well. That means..."

"Shut up! SHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUP!" she screams as she tries to free herself. "No one asked your conjectures! What you said is a pile of blatant lies! Tricks! Pure bulls-"

"If you really think I'm lying, I'll let Illusion demostrate whether I said is true or not. Karma can turn its back on you, you mean" He says it with a victorious grin, as if he would be right once Illusion did what he did.

"Well then... Before coming to you..."

Arctic Star launches a powerful ice beam against Princess Luna, turning her into an ice statue. The azure alicorn stands right in front of it, smiling at Match Stick

"It won't be long before your dear princess Luna will pass out due to the extreme temperature descent. If my calculations are correct... you have 20 minutes to stop me and unfreezing her. Will a child ever been able to surpass his own mother?"

Scarlet's little bluff had been probably the only thing to make Illusion pause. And it was only to grin at her, watching her squirm under his grip, which then tightened painfully.
To her, it'd probably have felt strangely familiar. Oh, yes, wouldn't this have been the same exact sort of situation her previous victims had been in? Right down to the manic grin of insanity, no doubt. Perhaps it was him that had so long ago been in that very same position?

Oh, this was just delicious either way!

"Who... said anything about drinking? Heheheee~ But now, you seem distressed~ So maybe... Ahahaha~!"

Apparently, the original plan was more... savage, if that could be believed. Like a wild and rabid dog. If anything, Scarlet probably could've considered herself lucky.
No more hesitation, though, and nothing short of a brick wall would've stopped Illusion as he finished what he started, Fangs flashing once more as he resumed his lunge.

A stinging sensation was then felt in the struggling Vampony's neck.

What happened next, however, I leave up to you to decide.

He was doing it... She was feeling it... It was unstoppable... It could have been unstoppable...

Laurel pushed Grand Illusion for whatever reason... for a specific reason...
An icy bolt hit the earth pony which sends him back as his wreath flies through the field.
Arctic Star took a very brief moment to analyze the situation that happened there and launched a bolt to attack Illusion, only for Laurel to take the hit.
Scarlet was free from the unicorn's hold at the cost of an enemy's sacrifice.

[I promise: I won't do anything that backfires your play from now on. I just wanted to make my pony KOed so that I focus as the GM.]

Illusion seemed to suddenly snap back to reality as he stood back up, shaking intensely for a moment as he let out a deep, shuddering laugh.
It was more than apparent he had relaxed enough to think straight, now that he'd had a taste. But... What else? "Oh, I needed that so very much... Simple "wine" just didn't have that... flavor."

He felt... good. Either due to his transformation, the rush of Vampony energy he'd just drained, or the pure adrenaline, or even all three combined, Illusion felt great. Now he understood Scarlet's view, at least a little.

"Oh, I'm still a bit peeved at you, Little Red, don't think I forgot." The unicorn had then said, shooting a look of pure contempt at Scarlet.
Illusion's horn then began to glow an eerie dark purple, as his grin turned the slightest bit smug. From the looks of it, he was experiencing a surge of magical power.

"This battle isn't going well, is it? I think I'll go ahead and change that..." Before anypony could object, he had sent a purple bolt high into the air, flying directly at the moon. With a loud bang, the bolt exploded, and the battlefield suddenly turned dark.

Beyond dark, it was pitch-black; Even vamponies could hardly see in this seemingly impenetrable darkness! And what were those noises?!
Strangely, several individuals were unaffected, and all of those select few allied with Luna.

This is your chance. Said Illusion's voice, seemingly into the minds of all of his comrades, the ones who managed to stick together throughout their entire journey. You can see and hear clearly; they cannot, and probably think I destroyed the moon. Take the opportunity to free our allies, starting with Luna. Quickly now, before Hypothermia sets in and all is lost.

"...m... mommy..."

Scarlet was paralyzed. She was lucky enough to live for another minute thanks to the earth pony's intervention... but terrified by what the unicorn was gonna do with her since it was pitch-black. The bite from before was a terrifying experience. Even more terrifying by the first bite she got. She had the fear of being attacked once again, like something coming suddenly from the darkness like a jumpscare.
A chilling breeze penetrated through her coat... She couldn't see it... but she could feel it: it was Arctic Star's presence... Despite being a very cold feeling, she felt "warmed" thanks to her mother coming to rescue her.

"Scarlet... Go play with the other unicorn. This bully is too dangerous for you but don't worry: I'll teach him a lesson or two. Maybe even twenty."

Arctic Star stares deeply in Grand Illusion's eyes without making any expression. She wasn't scared by the ruthless nature of the vampony... She thoughts that "His thirst and instincts are what control him."
The reason why she could see unlike the other vamponies was simple... As a filly, she admires Princess Luna to the point of calling her "her mother".

If that's the case, maybe... Just maybe...

Despite Arctic's order, she wasn't able to see Match Stick so it was like searching for a needle in a haystack.

White Night don't know what to do now after Laurel that got hit, Illusion bitting Scarlet... those are really terrifying.

She heard the Grand Illusion, and probably not only to her, she quickly flies toward where Princess Luna has been frozen. She tries all she can to free her, but nothing work... It seem the fire is the only way, so Match Stick is the key to free the Princess.

Speaking of vamponies, it seem that one of Artic's child is flying at full speed toward White Night to Knock her out.
((I know I'm not the RP master, but since there's a lot of Artic's vamponies, I was thinking that we could control a few of them... Sorry if I'm wrong... Adding this here, Carter is the right one to knock that vampony dashing toward White Night. Or, what he can do else than just watching the fight? Also, where is @waaaaaaah ? I'm not sure if he said something or... Oh, he's been busy. Seen his last post, I think his character has fled...))

[Sure. If you control some of the vamponies, then I don't have to control them all by myself... as I'm already tired so 'till tomorrow. About waaaaah: did someone responded him/her personally to see if he/she present or not?]

"Oh, that is just too precious!" Illusion had said with a laugh. "Mommy! Help me! Make him stop!" He had then cruelly said in a surprisingly accurate mockery of Scarlet's voice.
He then proceeded to chuckle until remembering something, at which point the smile was wiped off his face as he turned his full attention to Arctic. "Which reminds me..."

"Enough about Scarlet, let's talk about you! Adoptive mother, powerful alicorn, 'loving' children... Oh yes, can't forget the fact that you steal the children away from their own mothers. That filly was a piece of work, true, but she just doesn't have the means to destroy everything. And speaking of that, think of how absolutely sad everypony would be when all their friends and family start to give in to the cold."

The unicorn then shook his head.

"But you don't care, do you? Just like how you didn't care enough to help what might as well have been your own mother when she needed you most, you selfish mare... So you know what? Let's just skip the introductions and get right to the point. Alicorn as you may be, you are still a slave to the five senses."

Unable to mover through Arctic's strong wind, but now getting used to his new found flight as inpony instincts began to kick in, so with a flick of his horn a fiery veil once again coated his body before it dissipated along with him as he teleports to an area behind and above Arctic Star so that he could use his limited flight capabilities to get the drop on the  icy wannabe Queen.

Carter sees a vampony about to attack White Night. He rushes over there as quick as he can and boosts towards the other vampony (basically a ram)

Arctic's child don't have the time to notice it and Carter is too fast for him. He get hit just in front of White Night, sending him away.

"Me... a slave to the five senses? If you truly wish to engage against a pupil of Princess Luna, go ahead. I heard of the two princesses that came after me and they are nothing compared to the one pony who created the cryokinesis. You too will succumb to the cold embrace if that's the price." she responds with unnatural calmness. "Your friend sacrificed his life to yours and now his heart is so cold..."

Illusion's horn had continued to glow purple as Arctic responded.

"You are flesh and other various fluids of life, that is all I need. That's part of the beauty of my craft, you see... It doesn't matter how powerful you are; your eyes can deceive you. And your ears. Your very body can be fooled."
With a sudden flash of the horn, Illusion's image began to shift and blur right before Arctic's eyes. "Sight..." Not long after, an unidentifiable "white noise" was soon the only thing the alicorn could hear other than the vampony's voice. "Sound..."

He wasn't finished, apparently, as a horrible chill passed down Arctic's back. Not only that, but it was as if something was crawling down it.
"And, lastly, touch. You would be surprised how much control I have over the Equine body with that... And how infuriatingly vague the school of illusion magic can be about it's limits. Thank you for taking the time to chat, letting me prepare all those spells. Go ahead and try to dispel it all; it's only going to result in a free hit for me and anyone else with a grudge."

"With all that said, though. It's your turn. In other words... Check."

The wind howled in Match's now sensitive ears as he glides towards Arctic from behind. The sift glow of his horn began to crescendo as it became more and more violent, and after only a few seconds it took physical form as a raging fire that swirled around the charcoal unicorn. Seemingly his mana well has been cut off, reserving the untamable amount of mana for Match's assault.

[READ FIRST: I'll go on vacation for the next three days. I'll return on 1st January]

"Well well well..." she said it with close eyes in order to not being deceived by Illusion's... tricks. "As a very intelligent unicorn, I hope you know the third law of thermodynamics: it is impossible to reach the absolute zero but it is possible to reach a close value."

"N-No! Mom, don't use it!" Scarlet came forward with a scared look after hearing what she said. "Don't use the Boomerang Nebula! You said yourself: such spell could bring Equestria... the entire world... in an eternal winter!"
Having said those words, the red vampony realizes something. Something that leaves her stunned and with her heart stuck in her throat. "...it was... your plan... all along..."

[While the name seems stupid, it actually make sense with a thorough research :>]

"You think I'm going to give you the time to cast such a thing?"

Illusion had briefly looked towards Scarlet, with an expression that could be best described as pity. But there was no time for regrets about his actions, as he couldn't afford even the slightest hesitation.
As he then quickly turned his attentions back to Arctic, he briefly closed his eyes, only to then re-open them, and a yellow glow could be seen from his irises as he began to walk towards the Alicorn, confident that she'd never hear him over the roaring in her ears.

Remember your duty, Stick. Tend to the Princess. A firm voice had then ordered in Match's head as Illusion noticed him.

But now, back to the Subject of Arctic... Even with her eyes closed, she was still seeing things. Namely, the terrifying image of nightmare moon staring her face-to-face. It seemed that trying to block out everything had made it all worse.
[glow=red,2,300]You could have prevented this, and yet you chose not to![/glow] The image had screamed, audible only to Arctic's ears. As suddenly as the image appeared, it was immediately replaced with a young Luna, openly sobbing.

Why...? Why did you abandon me...? Why did you let the nightmare take me?! Was I not... your friend...?

Something else could be heard as well. More crying... And not just Luna's, but many, many others. The friends, family, and lovers of all the ponies Arctic had taken from them, grieving over the disappearance of their loved ones.

Now was not the time for "standing down", but for taking down, and hard. Gaining momentum and charging power, Match's horn weans with the energy it is manipulating. Pain crept into his mind from all directions as he was unable to protect himself from the flames surrounding him, nor the massive amount of energy that he was channeling. There was no tunring back now, no giving up, no surrender. Match was burning bright, but a match can only burn for so long...

"...lies...Lies...lieslieslies...ALL LIES!" Arctic Star screamed. Possibly for being lured into Illusion's mental trap. "Their suffering is nothing but pure conjecture made by you insignificant mortal. I grant them a new life and soon I will grant them a new world to live away from racism and social differences. Something that Princess Luna was never able to do so. I lived under her wing to protect myself from all the insults I received. "Orphan", "Princess's filly", "Cold heart"... The worst insult I received was from Luna herself: she abandoned me and now she will pay the price."

In her mind there was a memory she could never forget: the day she met Scarlet, her first daughter.
She remembers her as a lively pegasus, always filled with positive energy and curious about her surroundings. She also bears a tough personality, one that never falters. Looking now: she has turned into a monster but... that's why she has always liked her, isn't it? Loyal until the end... or so she thought because, if it wasn't for Illusion's spells, she couldn't see the anxiety grewing on Scarlet.

"Scarlet... Don't worry, my child... My world will be perfect... No racism, no bullism, Nothing... Because once I do the Boomerang Nebula, there will be nothing but ice and snow. A complete wasteland! A world of nothingless is the perfect world for my children to live!" If one eagle eyed pony could see her expression, it would be a huge demented smile from Arctic Star. Trapped in illusions and unaware of Match's attack, she finally took the rocket to insanity.

Illusion visibly tensed as everything started to escalate.

'If you doom us all with this, Stick, I WILL remember, and I WILL make you suffer for it, in this life or the next!'

It didn't take long for Illusion to press harder. "And what will you do when your children eventually perish? What will they do should you perish?" He had asked, forcing yet another image onto the unstable alicorn.

It all faded away, Allowing Arctic to see the scene before her. With some alterations...

Scarlet was crying... Openly crying, for perhaps the first time since her transformation. Perhaps the real one might have been doing so as well, but he didn't care.
"What will you do, when one way or another they realize there is literally nothing left to live for? Why don't you ask your own daughter? Do you think she wants an empty existence?"

C'mon, take the bait... This doesn't have to end violently! Don't let her throw this away...! Please...!

"ENOUGH!" Match shouts in a hellish war cry as he barrels into Arctic Star with all the force he could muster.

As Luna previously said "her mind was too broken to be healed".
Arctic Star appreared as a calm and creepy alicorn that threats other vamponies like her children. Now she has shown her true colors as a psychopath who only wants to turn Equestria into a wasteland of ice, wind and snow. She was envious of everypony for having a family or friends... something that she never had or, in the case with Luna, had been stripped off.
According to the retaliation law, her plan of creating an army of vamponies and turning Equestria into a cold world was made so that nopony would have a family or even friends.

"Why being so sad Scarlet? Do you miss your friends? Your family who had already forgot your existence? Too bad! By sticking with me, you have turned into a mindless pawn! I could throw into the garbage can and making another "Scarlet"... but I wasn't able to because you were like an obedient dog who bites and sucks other ponies' necks. Now you are nothing because you got knocked out by a mere unicorn! Don't worry. In my world you do not exist nor your friends and family and everypony! I'll be forever alone just like Luna when she was banished!"

By smiling and cackling, she didn't noticed Match Stick's fiery charge and so didn't noticed Scarlet crying from hearing those voices. From a mindless monster of a vampony, she had returned to her real self. Her mind was too chaotic, too heavy to even think of what she has done.
Arctic Star's body bends unnaturally. Her coat finally experiences the intensity of a true fire, which in nature melts the ice. Her mind re-broken from the memories. Her cold presence disappears.
All that remained was the alicorn's body slipping on the ice. A sight that everypony gaze upon it. Both guards and vamponies.
Her insanity was her Achilles's heel.

Match falls limp to the side after colliding with Arctic and releasing his stockpiled spell, and lands near the icy statue that is Princess Luna. His body burned and broken, his energy and spirits drained, the face once riddled with emotion reduced to a lifeless ensemble of burnt and battered flesh.

Illusion stared at the fallen alicorn impassively, blinking only once as the strange glow disappeared from his eyes. Whether she was simply unconscious or something worse, he did not know, nor did he care to know. They'd won, right? Why should it matter?

So why did it feel like he'd failed? Why did he feel like this could've been avoided...? And even worse, he was the one who drove her into such a breakdown.

"Are you happy now, Match?" The unicorn had suddenly said. "The threat's been eliminated. Now would you kindly go and thaw the others out? I'm sure you have enough energy for one little ember... Right? I have... other things to tend to."
Almost immediately, he turned on Scarlet, his expression like that of stone as he walked over, proceeding to stare down at her, just waiting for a reaction of any sort.

No response comes from the crumpled form of the Royal Guard who laid in the most ceremonious of armors his rank granted, its azure cape and golden gleam long since removed by the unkept flames of his final assault.

Carter stared at the alicorn.

"Did we finally do it?!" he asked.

Scarlet couldn't move. Not because of some spell or the cold wind penetrating through her coat...
She laid down on her ice with immense grief in her heart, sobbing and sighing and trying her hardest to not believe in what her "mother" said.

"...a mindless pawn... throw me away... another Scarlet..."

She was trembling in fear. She looked incredibly different by the Scarlet they meet before: a violent and feral vampony.
Now, like everyone that aided Arctic Star in battle, by realizing the truth and without her mother, she felt hopeless and alone... like an orphan. She clenches her hooves, never stop stuttering because of the cold temperature and crying for realizing what monster she became.

Illusion continued to stare at the sobbing mess that laid before him. A part of him felt that she deserved every bit of it, but the majority...
He saw a crying mare in desperate need of care. That little part of him whispered that she could just as easily be faking it, just to catch somepony off guard before being taken away.

One side won out.

"Carter!" He suddenly barked in the pony's general direction. "Get yourself back to Canterlot and bring aid! There's no way I can help the frozen and injured on my own."
With that order given, the unicorn had then turned back to the vampony.

"Scarlet."

As Illusion crouched down next to the vampony, he still found himself at a loss as to what to do, even though it seemed obvious.
"Are you... cold?" He tried, doubting that he'd get a response. "I... I'm sorry it turned out like this..."

"Kay'! I'll be back soon." Carter replied and with that he flew off.

'I'm really far from Canterlot, but I can get there in decent time.' he thought.

"How many years have passed? I don't remember... I was just a filly when I met her. 'She' wasn't my mother but I was like a daughter for her or so I thought.  I was a pawn like she said. I don't want to be an orphan again... or a vampony, for that matter... Is this my destiny? To never see the sun or a family?"

Her hooves being clenched, her stuttering voice, her eyes staring deeply at nothing... She was truly traumatized.
Maybe her fear was hidden by that feral personality and the battle opened her eyes. How she couldn't resist by that horrible scenery? Princess Luna has turned into an ice statue, Arctic Star was lying on the floor in a disturbing position, a lot of Night Guards and vamponies are injured, badly or lightly that is.

About Laurel Crown: fortunately he managed to survive such ordeal despite being unconscious. After struggling in raising himself and getting on his hooves, he massages his head, readjustes his glasses and pick his laurel wreath... now messed up from the battle.
"Ow... my head... and my wreath..." he goes to Grand Illusion which stands near Scarlet. "What... What happened while I was unconscious."

"We won. Ice queen couldn't handle the pressure, cracked, and took a big one. Will go into details later. Carter's off to get some help. Go check on Match, see what you can do. I'll deal with the rest."
With that out of the way, Illusion turned his attentions back to the all but broken Vampony, a single eye twitching somewhat at her mention of destiny.

Oh. That obnoxious thing.

"Oi." He had then said, raising his voice just enough to be sure she could hear him. "There's no fate or destiny but the one you make for yourself, Scarlet. You can still change it if you try, even if it's only partially."

"Wow... Ehm... Do you know you owe me one for saving your mane? It was like sleeping on a bed made of ice..." Ironically that's what Laurel slept on. A surface covered in ice.

"But... But... What is a future without a past? It feels like I'm living a new life from now on... but what should I do? I'm not a pony. I'm a VAMpony. A monster!" she sobs.

"Yes, yes, I do realize that. Now could you please go check on Match, now? I think he's burned out. Make sure he didn't... you know."
Illusion had said, jerking his head towards Match's less than conscious form.

Now, back to Scarlet.

"Look... Regardless of what you are, there's sure to be a place for you in Equestria, even after everything that's happened. Vamponies already exist, don't you know? "And besides. How do you know she wasn't just hiding more secrets? Give it a week or two; The guards will raid that old lair and practically take it apart. Who knows? Maybe she was hiding a way to reverse the transformation? And one more thing... if you need a place to stay."

He then held out a hoof, offering to help the Vampony up.

"I can help, if you want..."

Laurel do what Illusion said and goes to check Match Stick, trying desperately to wake him up... or at the least checking his vitals.
There is no time to waste on sentiments but if Laurel had the chance, he would scream by how messed up Match's body is.
[I'll let Annosrules describe Match's conditions in further details]

Scarlet looks at the unicorn's hoof as if it's a strange object.
It took her a while to pick a decision due to the feeling of being alone with no direction to follow like an explorer on a vast saddle arabian desert. She tried her hardest to look what would happen to her in the future, especially on hindsight... but couldn't tell.
With huge effort, she raises her hoof and finally grasp the unicorn's.
She make a simple grin... not of sadistic thoughts but of relief. Relief for having a second chance in living her life...

[So far Laurel Crown, Grand Illusion and Carter have survived. If the other ponies won't respond, they will be considered MIA and we'll finish the RP with the three of us.]

Carter flies back to the spot where they were.

"Couldn't get anyone but we finally did it! We survived!" he said.

Illusion let out a small grunt as he had pulled the Vampony up, showing his own little smile as he did so. As least I've done one thing right this night...
"Tending to the injured would be a good way to start... You think you're up for it, Scarlet?"

Match's vitals are feint, but evident. His sustained injuries seem to have rendered him unconscious, which is probably for the best given the extent of them. Suffice it to say, this Guard will live another day.

Carter feels as good as ever as he does a flip. (I can't believe I actually managed to stay in this RP! There should totally be a side story to this later on.)

Carter has brought a squad of batponies and even some members from the Medi-Squad with chariots developed to carry the injured in case of a battle. Unicorns trained in medicine and magic to threat the soldiers from every kind of physical and magic wounds. Upon reaching the ice block Princess is blocked and the body of Match lying unconscious, the leader of the Medi-Squad named Heart Rate starts giving instructions and debriefing the ponies that are present in the field.

"We came as soon as possible by following your friend Carter. We examined Her Majesty and the unicorn: they do not run any major risk fortunately... but we have to act fast if we want our princess and the unicorn to live another day."

"Got it."

"Is there anything I can do to help?" asked Carter.

Illusion, having overheard the medic's suggestion to Carter, gave a little nod. "I'm going to go ahead and help thaw the princess." He had said to Scarlet.
"You think you can help Carter out while I'm at it? Just tell him I sent you if he starts complaining."

The unicorn then flashed another one of his grins before he turned and approached the medical personnel surrounding the now-icy Luna.
"I heard you lot could use some volunteers. Is there any particular spell you'll want? Or is basic heat good enough?"

White Night lands next to them and ask.
"Did... everyvampony realized what his/her "mother" wanted to do? And will Princess Luna be fine?"

After Illusion leave Scarlet to decide what should she do, she explains everything to White Night who approached next to her.

"My mother... no..." While replying to White Night, Scarlet shakes her head to remove the memory of the princess from her head. "Arctic Star tried to invade Equestria by using us as her pawns with the story of being adopted by her. She actually kidnapped and brainwashed lots of fillies through the years. Orphans that lives on the streets, living as their day was the final one. I her plan didn't come out, whether due to Princess Luna's intervention or yours, she would have used the Boomerang Nebula, named after the coldest place in the universe."

Meanwhile Heart Rate, a blonde stallion both in coat and mane color and wearing a white coat and rectangular glasses, explains the situation at Grand Illusion and Laurel Crown.
"Well... We have unicorns graduated from the School for Gifted Unicorns and I think you are no exception, having survived this mess of a battle... But the problem is: if we have to thaw the princess, we need some advanced pyrokinesis here. Arctic Star's specialty is cryokinesis and her ice is not common ice. It's ice-nine."

"Ice-nine? You mean the hardest type?"

"Exactly. To analyze Arctic Star's power, we had a real cryokinesis veteran on our team and he said that ice-nine can only be melted at 48° Celsius [114° Fahrenheit]. We need a lot of firepower, literally, if we have to free our princess from her ice prison."

((Uh oh. We know that Match Stick is specialised on his fire type ability and he's the one who made Arctic Star KO'ed, but unfortunately, Match is also out of the party when he overcharged his fire magic to beat Arctic in a single hit... Illusion will be able to help them to free the Princess of the night? By using his fire magic or by putting Match on his hooves? Let's see it now. :3c ))

"Hmm, I see. She's sure is really powerful by controlling all of you at once." She said as she's putting on her back a yellow female vampony with a purple mane and tail which is familiar to Illusion. Wait, was it Marble Star?

((Just bringing up Misty's OC, but it can not be played since Misty has been kicked out off of the RP. Let's say Marble Star is one of the injured vamponies. :P ))

"I'm pretty sure she used powerful subliminal messages to... I don't say "control the mind" because all these vamponies appeared to be self-aware of their actions. Maybe she used to "control their character" and made them extremely violent in nature. That's why Scarlet appeared as a feral and violent pony."

Scarlet do not say anything. She was too afraid to admit everything when she was in "Beast" mode.

"That's... not that high of a temperature. I was expecting something a bit more spectacular." Illusion had said, looking very unimpressed and disappointed. "If that's all the heat we need, then it'd probably just be way easier to start a big bonfire. I mean, heck, even the average campfire tends to go way above those temperatures. If we had to use strictly magical means, then yeah, that could get complicated."

"She was one of your companions." Scarlet checks Marble Star's vitals by touching her hooves, neck and torso. Her heart still beats. "She is unconscious but won't run any danger. For now the top priority is taking care of the badly injured ones."

"Yes... yet we need a huge bonfire in order to thaw such resilient ice. A huge bonfire means a concentrated fire magic on that one spot that is the Princess Luna."

"Isn't Match Stick some sort of pyromancer?" Laurel asks what sounded like an unnecessary question but he asked anyway.

"Or we could do the mundane solution of getting a whole bunch of firewood and lighting it up. The only hard part would be getting that wood in a hurry. C'mon, I can't be the only one thinking outside of the magic box... Just being a few feet away from such a thing would be enough to go above the melting point. I mean, really, is there something I'm missing? Oh, and yes, yes he is."

Illusion had briefly turned to Laurel with that last comment. But now he was subtly beginning to tap a fore-hoof on the icy(?) ground.
These excuses weren't good for one's patience, especially not when, theoretically, it could already be too late. He was half-tempted to do an impersonation of his brother and make the remaining healthy ponies work.

"Do you happen to have any axes? Or know where we can get any in a hurry?" He had then said, trying to discreetly get his point across.

Carter comes back.

"Only injured ponies are the ones in this area!" he said.

(I don't think that placing the princess on top of a bonfire us what Laurel's trying to make happen, and that fire magic is a lot easier to control as to thaw but cause no further injuries.)

(Yes, what you said may be right but I tried to make the idea of thawing the princess a little bit difficult than it seems ^^')

[On top? Nah, I was thinking of setting her maybe five or ten feet away from the roaring flames. But I see what you're saying. Any excuse at all as to why a big fire is a bad idea, stated IC, will put an end to the argument right where it's at.]

White Night heard Carter and reply :

All of a sudden, Match's body jolts back to life with a discomforting cracking noise that accompanied the silent screams of the once broken figure. His eyes are open wide and, after the initial recollection is complete and his vampiric prowess restores his body, they seem wild, desperate, and hungry. Drained of its own energy the vampony rises, eager to take it by force from those unfortunate enough to stand nearby.

(Hope this is alright, I know you wanted Match to be involved in Luna's restoration, and this just seemed more natural than him just getting healed and being right as rain afterword.)

[It's alright both of you ^-^ ]

"W-Wait! H-H-How did he recovered? Didn't you told me that his injuries were grave?" Laurel was shaking as he asks to Illusion about Match Stick being... famished.
Scarlet comes in with White Night after rescuing the last survivor.

"Vamponies have stronger muscles and organic tissue. This means you, I and everyone are more resilient than a regular pony and recover is much smoother thanks to this. We are close to end this story for good... I won't let his curse to win over us after all." Scarlet felt so serious... and willing to give her all. She could feel the joy of leaving the past to aim at the future... and Match Stick could possibly be the last obstacle to jump over.

The bestial form of Match Stick leaps through the air using his wings for additional propulsion and air time as he moves savagely towards a group of night guards. Being fully augmented into a Vampony, Match is quick on his hooves, showing much more speed than he ever did before with his explosive movements.

Carter sees Match get up and starts flying after seeing what he was about to do. He flew quickly to the spot where the guards where. (He is not quite there yet, he is close to blocking though.

The feral batpony wouldn't be stopped in its pursuit of sustenance, and attempts to push past Carter with a devastating slam.

Carter puts his hooves in front of his face to block the incoming attack. With the condition he is in, he could be dangerously injured or worse.

Match makes contact, swiping the malconditioned Carter to the side with ease as the distance between him and his quarries slowly shrinks.

((Okay, so... Misty allowed me to RP as Marble, but... I don't know if I should really do this... I'll see with it later.))

[glow=white,2,300]"Uh, what's going on in the sky?"[/glow] White Night asks as she sees both two vamponies... flying around?

"Ehm... how should I put it... Princess Luna is in danger, the only unicorn who could save her is going nuts and Carter is trying to dealing with him."

(Laurel I asked Match if I could use my sort of OP ability. It will catch up to him but it will also make Carter weak and exhausted if he hits it or not. SO I wanted to check with you if I could use it on Match.)

(You have my permission. So far the roleplay could only proceed by you and annosrules and we are getting closer to the ending. :])

Carter starts spinning rapidly. He shoots off and aims directly at Match.

'This should be enough to not knock him out, but at least stop him!' he thought. He was now very close to Match.

Match is apathetic to Carter's approach, as his prey is already so near that he can almost taste it.

Carter then boosts off much faster than the first boost and now he is so close to Match he can feel the wind stream coming off of Match's wings. (They are going REALLY fast.)

Match becomes annoyed by his pursuer, and quickly shifts towards him in an attempt to throw Carter off course.

(So much tension is being built up right now.)

Carter aims straight for Match again and flies at him.

Match alters his course as to curve into the guards and avoid Carter's current path.

Looking them flying left and right, up and down, here and there, frontflip and backflip... Well, in short: It's confusing White Night that she can not follow them with her eyes, they are moving too fast and much in a cercle.
"... aww... my head spinning..." groan White.

"I had enough!" Screaming, Scarlet flies towards Match hoping that he would have come to his senses.

The starving vampony turns in place in the air and hissing, bears his teeth at Scarlet. All sense of rationality is lost from Match's eyes as his mind is replaced by the animistic instincts of a true predator of the night.

Scarlet tackles the unicorn vampony, gripping tightly around him with some sort of bear hug and trying to land on the ground.

Match thrashes about wildly, trying to escape Scarlet's grab, but his starving body is no match for Scarlet's strength.

(I amworking under the assumption that Vamponyism comes with supernatural strength, correct me if I'm wrong.)

"Grrr... Why don't you calm down? And I thought it was finally over..."

(Increased strength has always been a vampiric trait to my recollection, though it was surely exaggerated by the Twilight series. And I got a 12)

White Night still don't know what is happening or what they were actually doing right now...

(Sorry. Have WAY too much work to do to really reply a lot. Can really only post every couple days or so.)

Sorry but I already decided to close both RPs because of reasons such as the lack of involvement from me and the others and too much padding but made the stories neverending. Do count the many days where I completely lost the passion to write here, the lack of active players and all sorts of external stuff and priorities that are above this RP.

I already reported and asked to close both this RP and "Pure at Heart" and I don't think I'll come back again. With no further ado, goodbye.
