AH! Oh, jeez. You scared me, kid! Listen, I- Laserbolt turned, and saw that Asterian was gone. Huh. Strange. Never answered my question. Anyway, it's dangerous in these woods. You should probably get outta here. You know monsters always run around Everfree.

Laserbolt looked surprised, then smiled, as if he had just understood a rather funny, but cruel joke. Yeah... Don't we all? He pulled out a pair of goggles from his saddlebags, and slipped them on. Then he turned and looked at the girl. Yup, just as I thought. Nice disguise, though. Listen, you'd better start talking, changeling, or I'll report you to your hive leader. Trust me, I know all the laws I need to put you away.

Her voice reverted to her normal adult voice. "Oh? And what could you do? I work for the most dangerous monster in this forest..." She smirked.

Laserbolt looked interested. Oh, really? Another one of Slendermane's cultists, eh? I've dealt with your kind before, changeling, a bunch of mask-wearing dorks who can't cover their tracks. I could do more than a little to you. However, I feel that violence won't solve anything here. I'm simply here to cover a leak in the magical field. If it's not fixed, the forest might be destroyed, and seeing as how Ol' Slendy's a forest guardian, I'm sure he wouldn't want that. So, we have a common interest. You want your master happy, and I want the universe intact. Truce? Laserbolt extended a hoof to the changeling, and hoped that he could trust her. He doubted it.

[Asterian Starfall]

Asterian continued to wander aimlessly in the wilderness, trying to find a way past the treeline. He pulls out a bound leather book from his saddlebag and begins to write...

Everfree is filled with many things, but there's something here that's just not right. I have the strangest feeling like I'm being watched...

He hears a rustling bush nearby. No time for inspecting what it is. He puts the book away and continues to try and find a way out.

This scale here is a report on Asterian's Hope/Dread, borrowed from LOTRO. Figured it was appropriate.

A tall faceless stallion stood behind Laserbolt. The changeling blinked. "Speaking of Slendermane."

Asterian notices something in the distance. It looks like...
"A topaz?"
Asterian wondered what such an amazing gem was doing in the middle of nowhere, but he felt inspired by its discovery.

Nightly was blindly looking for SlenderMane when a skeleton she stepped on said OWW! A TALKING SKELETON!! She squealed. No BoB! the skeleton grumbled. He took off the mask and then Nightly yelled at him. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT YOU WOULD SIT THERE AND DO NOTHING WHILE SLENDERMANE IS STUCK IN THIS CAVE AND MAY BE IN PAIN!!! It echoed throughout the whole cave but she was too mad to care at all. SlanderMane isn't in the dumb cave.... he's somewhere in the forest..... He grumbled sharply.

[Asterian Starfall]

Asterian's search for the exit path was proving pointless.
"Forget it... I'll just have to camp here."
He reached inside his saddlebag and pulled out a tarp, which almost instantly unfolded itself into a massive tent. Inside there were chemicals on a table, some food stuffs in a cooler, several lamps, and a cot.
"Hmm... Glad I sprung for the enchanted version."
He laid down and tried to sleep.

Asterian's Hope/Dread: 2
Hope/Dread fades at a rate of 1 unit each post until it returns to 1, assuming there's no influencing factors.

Nightly bucked Bob's face and galloped away and tripped on another pony who looked as if he were sleeping. EEP! She screamed as she hit the wall.

She figured out that he was asleep still so she quietly trotted to the darkest part of the cave.

I- He's right behind me isn't he. There was a moment of silence, then Laserbolt spun around and jumped back, then steeled himself. Dang it, I'm a scientist, not a warrior, he thought. He opened his mouth to talk to Slendermane. I hope we can negotiate, big guy. I want nothing to do with monsters or sacrifices, or whatever it is you really do. I know I may have done something to make you mad in the past, but right now, there are more important things at stake. Laserbolt was visually trembling, as he wasn't so great with imminent danger.

Nightly found the exit instead of the darkest part but she saw a poor pony looking at slendermane and she could tell that he was in trouble. LEAVE HIM ALO0NE! She screamed at SlenderMane.

Laserbolt heard a cacophony of noise, and turned his head. He saw a young mare yelling at him, but he couldn't hear her. NOT RIGHT NOW, RANDOM STRANGER. I'M TRYING TO NEGOTIATE! Laserbolt turned back to Slendermane, and waited for an answer.

Nightly did a facehoof and said angrily. HE'S GUNNA RIP OFF YOUR FACE!! Then she stood beside LaserBolt and waited. Then said. If he tries to rip off your face then he's dead. I think SlenderMane is cool but why take a chance?

Excuse me, Slendy. Laserbolt walked over to the mare, and looked her straight in the eye. He said, in a low whisper, I don't know why you followed me from the pocket dimension, and I don't know why you're trying to interfere, but listen carefully. I am well aware of the dangers of what I am doing, but there are more important things than you or I. So, while I appreciate your concern, I suggest you take your business elsewhere. Laserbolt spun back around, and walked back over to Slendermane and the changeling. Now, where were we?

Nightly had no idea what in all of the world this guy was talking about. What the hoof is a pocket dimension? She said to herself. Something touched her shoulder and she looked back. NO! She screamed at a black stallion with dragon wings and red snake eyes. She ran hard right past LaserBolt but so he could hear said. IF THE POCKET'S WHERE YOU COME THEN WHO'D YAH MARRY A BALL OF LINT!? Then she ran fast into the brush.

((also, I can tell you're kinda new at this, so I'll teach you some quick RP etiquette. When you're not actually Roleplaying with a post, or part of a post, you need to distinguish it from your regular typing. For example, I put mine in double parentheses. It also helps, when you are talking in RP, to have a color, or at least quotes for your character's speech.))
