Here's a new system for O.C's I'm making.

The good:
1.Being the daughter of travelers looks like an interesting concept.
2.The personality has some spice , and isn't another run in the mill "Friendly , nice , kind , generous , loyal , funny , and has nothing bad." personalities.
3.The name can be used in many pickup lines (Yes I'm joking.)

The bad:
1.How did the parents know about the ability?
2.A parent will never leave their child in an orphanage because they have an ability.
3.Orphanage stories got kinda boring

The ugly
If they were willing to get rid of pyromancer because of her ability they should have never left her in an orphanage. Wouldn't they think it would get out of control anyway , and just burn the orphanage?

There's one thing I'd like to ask though. Why would her parents name her "Pyromancer"? They wouldn't have known she would know fire magic when she was born, unless the whole family is a family of fire-ability ponies and what-not, and they would hope that she got the same ability too. But that's not the case here. So what other reason would they name her "Pyromancer"?
Always have to remember that parents name the child before they get the cutie mark, so the name can't be TOO related to the cutie mark.

I was thinking about that. Perhaps her parents might have learned about some types of magic around Equestria, since they are travelers, and decided to name her as close as they could to a type of magic so she might earn a magic cutie mark

As someone once said, if the ponies on show where anything like real life ponies, they'd be dead several times over.
Real horses can't eat sweets either, but Pinkie Pie, real horses actually can eat meat, not as efficiently as green food mind you, but it they'd get something out of it.
Besides, some of those sandwitches had something meat-looking in it....

Going for the omnivores things, since any time a pony eats a cake and doesn't get deathly ill it's a mistake.
