You implied that you thought she was entirely evil, and I pointed out that she's neither a paragon of good nor of evil.

Pip seems to be a near flawless character who always manages to do the right thing.

She's a monster.  She even admits as such.  She's not even one of the elements, and when the time comes to restore equestria with "sunshine and rainbows" she gives herself up because she doesn't deserve to live in it.

Also, the title of the character changes from game to game.
Fallout 1: The Vault Dweller
Fallout 2: The Chosen One
Fallout 3: The Lone Wanderer
Fallout New Vegas: The Courier

BTW: this is sorta off topic, but why do people get all riled up about when people kill women more than men, regardless of who was innocent?

I have little to no interest in absolute evils, something which I find is nearly as bad as an absolute good.

She still considers herself one for doing as she did.  From that point on anytime somepony steps across the Moral Event Horizon they call it "X's Arbu".

point taken

some sort of instinctive desire to protect potential bearers of children?  Most societies are somewhat patriarchal, and there's still holdover from medieval thought, some places more than others.

I had to hunt this discussion topic down

I just finished every last page of Fallout Equestria, all 2034 pages :D

Probably the best story I've read next to Homers Odyssey and Colors of the Mountain

To add on to the conversation, littlepip wasn't one of bearers of harmony, but she was the spark and without her, there wouldn't have been a group to use the elements again.

Just finished the story. By far one of the absolute best stories I have ever read. If it was available to buy in hard copy, I would buy is in a heartbeat. Couldn't get into the whole lesbian thing, but it was only a teeny-tiny part of the book, not even that important to the story overall, so I can ignore it. The writer is really good at building suspense, and knows how to use climax correctly. A real page turner, I finished it in a week it was so good. I love the characters, and a couple places broke my heart. I guess if you wanted to know all that I was feeling, you can look at all the different emotes available on the site, and that still isn't enough.

Truly deserves the LEGENDARY tag on Equestria Daily.

EDIT: I was waiting till I finished the story before looking at the one year anniversary post on EQD, and since I finished it, I went and took a look. Apparently there are some ponies that are planning on getting it printed. Gotta start saving money.

As for protection of woman, I see it as a an urge that is genetically engrained into any good man/stallion. It's only natural that we would get riled up when someone we wish to protect is hurt.

If it were printed as a hardcopy how much space would it take up on a bookshelf? o.O

I doubt FOE is as long as this book
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Search_of_Lost_Time
Over 4,211 pages, in seven volumes. Estimated to be 1,200,000 words long.

Still one of the longest I've read. Especially for being only one book. It's usually difficult to read long books for me, as they tend to lose my interest.

It's also starting to get translated as well, so it keeps going. So glad I didn't find this story while it was still being written. The waiting would have killed me.

I'm gonna be looking through a couple of the spin-offs, drawings, and music for a long time. I freakin' love this fandom.

EDIT: Read up on the people that are printing it. The story would cost $80 plus $5 S&H, and it will be split into five hardback volumes. I'll need to get a job, but totally worth it.

As for page numbers, It will probably be more than the google doc with all the formatting.

May be a little late for the waiting list though, dangit. I hope they do another run of it. Gives me time to make some money.

Here's their Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/groups/FalloutEquestria/

I've joined the group to try and get more information.

I read very quickly, and I may have neglected some things in order to finish it. Bad play on my part, though I really don't regret it.

Not to get to drawing the characters :)

I think that he would have caused problems later on, and either they would have had to kill him anyway, or Calamity would have had to make the choice, which would not have been fun.

Yeah, I drifted into a daydream while on the bus, I came up with a conclusion that he would've probably betray and try to kill Calamity

Wait, you finished the book in a whole week?! It took me 4 months >A<

I took over 100 hours in two weeks to read it. It got me hooked and so if I wasn't at work or sleeping I was reading. Now I can't play fallout 3 or nv anymore because when I try to it seems all wrong not being like fo:eq.
Pony. That is all.
