[Rad Thunder]

((Let's try this then. ))
*Rad Thunder glides overhead, eyes closed and humming to himself*

[Coffee Rush]

"Sure thing." Cafe says, rushing behind the counter and assorting some different coffee beans, then mashing them together in the machine, finally making the coffee.
He brings it over.
"Here!" Cafe says, setting it down. He rushed off.

[Lary]

Lary did nothing but stare at the cup under his hood. He blinked a few times at it, but made no other kind of movement.

[Teal Turken]

Teal enters the cafe and takes a seat.
He orders some applefritters and waits.
While he waits he notices Lary in the corner just staring down his cup.
Teal gets up and walks over to Lary.
"Hey"

((okay..here I go...))
Locky flies in and sits at a table,waiting patiently

[Rad Thunder]

*looks down at the cafe*
I could go for another drink.
*soars to a table and takes a seat. Picks up and reads a menu*

I had ignored the prank lightning, even though I hated the awful noise it made, I wasn't bothered much by it, and the waiter's yelling calmed down my adrenalin rush from the surprise.

I was startled and dropped my book when I heard somepony call my name, I hadn't noticed him at all. Because of my surprise it took me a few awkward seconds to understand what he had said to me.

"Oh! The book! Right. I was just working on some homework due by next week. I don't usually come here but I needed to get out and have some fresh air.

Then I thought a bit more about what he said.

"Wait, you just said this is what you teach?"

((SORRY!))
"yes indeed We do, down at the local high school. Why?"

[Lary]

Lary looks up at him. "What do you want?"

[Teal Turken]

"I saw you sittin' alone in the corner and I wanted to know why. Also why are you just staring into your cup? You look like you have a grudge against it"

[Lary]

"What I do with my beverages is none of your concern. I've had another rough day and I- want to relax." He sounded like he choked on something mid-sentence.

[Teal Turken]

"Why don't you come sit with me? I'll share some of my applefritters with you, after all sweets can help you feel better" Teal grinned.

[Lary]

Lary gave him a half-confused, half-disgusted look from under his hood. It was still apparent even if his eyes were the only facial feature visible.

He decided to humor himself. He spoke without changing the tone in his voice. " ...Why don't you come over here?"

[Teal Turken]

Teal put a hoof to his chin thinking.
"Okay!"
Teal took a seat at the table with Lary.

[Lary]

Lary turned away to keep his angry gaze away from him. He growled with annoyance very silently.

[Coffee Rush]

Star Bucks walked up to Locky, saying "May I take your order?"

Cafe Rush hovers to Rad, saying "Watcha need?"

Beta Crash walked outside, and sat under a tree. She took out a small radio from her saddlebag, and turned it on.

"On this special edition of The Manehattan Bureau, we are covering a string of recent robberies. Most of them occur near South Plaza Road, primarily in Th-" The radio said as Beta changed the frequency.

[Teal Turken]

"So, Lary was it?"

[CptWaffles]

((SORRY!))
"yes indeed We do, down at the local high school. Why?"

I take a closer look at him before answering, just to chase any doubts from my mind.

"Well it's just I'm a senior at the high school, but I've never seen you there. Maybe I've never had you as my teacher?"

[Lary]

Lary spoke under his breath. "Yes..."

[Teal Turken]

"I haven't seen you around before, are you visiting?"

[Lary]

Lary thought for a moment before answering. "... Yes..."
