Hello there ponies and balongas!

Legends of Equestria is looking for Human Resources specialists to be the glue of our game development process and help keep operations running smoothly and cleanly! If you are interested in becoming a part of our team and have skills in note-taking and maintaining updates, organization and databasing, and good communication skills all around, please fill out the application provided below and email it to [email protected].

Thanks!

Username/Alias:
What do we refer to you as? Both in terms of pronouns and proper nouns.

Why:
Why are you applying for this position? What about Legends of Equestria, and, more importantly, about Human Resources specifically, has piqued your interest?

Skills:
What skills do you bring to the table? Are you better at working with other people (listening to complaints, making sure everyone is heard, mediating disputes), or more of an organizational person (creating/filling out spreadsheets, proposal documents, task lists or progress reports)?

Availability:
When are you most available, and how available are you? If you have any other major commitments (work, school, double life as a spy), let us know ahead of time, please (note that having other commitments will not seriously deter your viability as a LoE team member, we simply want to be able to work with your schedule).

Relevant experience:
Any positions you have held, or opportunities you have had to develop skills necessary for human resources.Human Resources positions in other companies/organizations are obviously good, but any sort of management, organizational or mediation skills or experience may be helpful to the team!

Other Information:
Anything else that we haven't listed here that you think might be helpful to the team or the hiring process? Let us know!

Please note, for legal reasons, all current LoE applicants need to be over the age of 18.

Whoops! I am not 18! Oh well, I wasn't going to join the Human Resources team.

Featherdust418

Hmm, this seems interesting. I'm not quite sure if I have the required skills, though I am pretty good at solving issues between people and coming up with a solution, and even better at organizing and analyzing situations. Perhaps I will submit something, though I am a bit fuzzy on what pertains to this job and is exactly needed. Hopefully I can find the courage as well as the right words, though, if not... well, then I do hope you'll be able to find the ponies you're looking for to fill the position. ;)

Thank you all for applying, we are still accepting applications until next Saturday, July 9th.

If you still need this information-

Regarding Human Resources, you basically would need skills such as the following:
-Solving disputes within the team, between members.
-Find solutions to any roadblocks within the varying departments.
-Be able to keep operations smooth.
-Be able to fluently document what needs to be documented.
-Be able to tolerate conflicting beliefs, morals, ideals, etc..

Also, just be able to communicate fluently with the team, and have the dedication to make the game the best it can be!

Only partially true.  Human Resources is split up into two sections now: databasing and human relation.  The Databasing section makes sure all spreadsheets assigned to them are existing and up to date, among other database needs.  The Human Relation section is the part that makes sure all disputes between teams or personal grievances are worked with to ensure fluid production, as well as maximum atmosphere within the team.  If you were great at databasing, and loved doing it but was absolutely dreadful at communicating with others to help them, you wouldn't be put up to something you wouldn't want to do.

And for those who worry about if there's an HR member having a dispute with another member or has their own grievance, they can always talk to a different HR member or Button to ensure their problems are resolved, just as any other member in any other department would.  Any team member can go to HR, even HR itself if something needs to be done, and it will be done in the best and most efficient way possible.  It sounds like a lot, but it's honestly really fun for me. ^-^

My apologies, it's been a bit since I was part of it. Thank you for clarifying it for everyone.

Hello everyone, thank you to all of the applicants interested in joining the human resources family.  We have received many applications, and have some very promising candidates.  Hiring emails will be sent out within the next few days.

Please understand that because of the large number of applications received, we will not be able to respond to those who have not been hired.  We appreciate your interest helping our project.

Applications will be left open indefinitely, as we are always looking for new members to join our team.

Thanks again, and feel free to email or message myself or Gremlin Grenade if you have any questions!

Hey Melodicmuse,

Though we are appreciative of your interest, you are supposed to email [email protected] , not reply to this thread. If you do not send an email, then it is very unlikely to be looked at.

I wish you the best of luck!
