Them's Fightin' Herds

You guys remember Mane6? You know, the people that were making Fighting is Magic back before they got a Cease and Decist? No? Yes?
Well, they've been working on another project lately, to capture the feel that Fighting is Magic had to it, and create their very own IP with it. And after a few years of silence, they finally have a name, as well as a crowdfunding coming soon!

What are you guy's thoughts? I'm pretty excited, I remember how smooth Fighting is Magic felt, and I'm excited to see this team's hard work not going to waste. I've always been not so good at traditional fighting games, but I just can't help but get excited whenever a new one shows up <3

I'm really looking forward to seeing what they turned Rarity into personally. Between the roll of fabric she would attack with and the gem attacks the moveset was pretty tied to her character too. It'll be interesting, especially if she isn't a unicorn like the Twilight replacement still seems to be. And I hope she isn't, because it'd be more interesting to have each character be a different species.

I still don't play fighting games much myself, but I have been following the team pretty much since it was formed. I'm invested in seeing how it turns out, in some abstract ways. If nothing else it's been interesting reading their more technical posts about how they're building the game.

I saw their gameplay trailer. Its amazing. #Invalid YouTube Link#

Its still got some of the old combos from the previous game, and Velvet looks really fun to play as.

Oh cool, I didn't realize they had shown that much of Velvet's move set. Or that she was Rarity's replacement, somehow.

The designs are super cute, and the animation looks fantastic! I am extremely excited for this!

I'm sorta curious though, if the animals will have irises in their eyes or if they will remain solid colors.

Not to be confused with Zukiuke

Very, especially considering just last night they were at 90%! Just a little more!
The team has also been releasing bits of lore from each individual character as of recent, just last night Oleander's bit of lore was released!

Considering what happened with the team back then, that is absolutely great news, though I wish they could made it to the console goals  :c

To be fair, if it sells well, that could easily come at a later date if it isn't already in the works. (Haven't been keeping up with the game)
Every console loves a selling game.
