I just PM'd the guy and answered your questions. He said  so apparently we can't spread this around even though the "word filter" part on what he said is part of that forum rule that we can't break so pretty much the info stops there.

What we said about nintendo taking actions in this matter is normal and they do have the right to do so in removing videos off from youtube, twitch, and other social medias and as my friend told me if they do find out who leaked the games, then probably we're guessing that it's not gonna be pretty.

I'm just highly skeptical of the internet, so I prefer to know.  But thanks for trying to ask questions for me, I appreciate it.

I think you missed my point.  I was looking for evidence that this was happening, not someone's wild accusations.  I don't doubt that this was possible, not from the outset anyways, but I can't take the point seriously if it doesn't have actual evidence to prove it's truth.  Where did AC3D get their information?  How do we know that this is actually how people have managed it?

I believe that my suspicions are correct. The sun & moon versions was suppose to be released worldwide at the same date, but not at a early date. To include the part of the information from here, I picked this information up from someone and said
It seems that you guys missed that part of the information and didn't say that people would be able to get access to the full version of sun & moon and downloaded the preload and hack the game. All of this would start going around in the social media and nintendo have already started taking actions into this matter.

At Least provide more information where this is coming from other than social media. Like My friend said and told me and I'll say it right out of her words

Can we get a source on that "someone" who said that?  I'd love to have information on where this is coming from, other than social media.

Well, my lighting hang started off splendidly.  Because my lights designer had to go through and check if the instruments we had up needed a bench focus, he had me wait on taking everything down until 2 days before the next hang began.  I mostly caught up, but when I get the plot in this morning I only have it for maybe 20 minutes before he starts changing things up on me!  And THEN I realized he hadn't marked his symbols properly and I couldn't identify what two types of instruments were supposed to be.  Of course I don't have the rest of the paperwork I should have either to help clear this question up, nor the color sheet so I can start planning what needs ordering so we actually have the colors we need in the lights for this weekend.  But what do I know, I'm just the only person they hired to work the light/sound area of my school theater program

I bought an XBox 360 controller for my PC gamepad specifically because of this problem.  It's helped tremendously, but I'm still annoyed I had to do it.

Well I kind of forgot I was going to try and go into the next Pokemon game relatively blind.  And I've been keeping up with the releases on their main site.  I mean that's not every detail of the story so far but come on: how awesome would it be to just encounter something like UB-01 with absolutely no expectation? Now it's just going to be "oh, so this is where that happens.  Neat."

I mentioned a while ago that a forum I frequent has issues of people not being patient or freaking out over little things.  Well the game attached to this forum finally did something about a massive exploit and started banning players who made extensive use for it...and the forum has exploded.  It's nothing but a mess of people whining because they were banned for "just a glitch".  "The programmers left it in the game," "I only used it a little bit," and when it's brought up that the terms of service expressly mention not mucking with the servers "well it doesn't explicitly say not to do this thing!"

That's it.  I'm done with these people.  Let them blow their corner of the internet up, my patience for it is done.

Since I got my hands on my old external hard drive and started backing up my PC there, I can finally start making room on my D drive by deleting the older backup.  I've been working on systematically deleting things I know I don't need anymore, and just today I managed to get rid of the single biggest backed-up folder (with no folders inside it, recursive much?) on my drive.  Sure I still have a ton of music backed up that needs to go, but hey, little victories.

Overall feeling: Not bad.  Again had the elements of a rushed conclusion that I struggle to live with, but like I've said before this show kind of relies on them in one respect, works with/around them later.  So I'll try to wait til season 7 before I condemn any actions.

Now as for the details...

I liked how our quartet of heroes came together, it seemed like it would make sense...except maybe why Thorax was sneaking about in changeling form in the forest near the castle.  Everyone in the castle knows what his pony form looks like, why wouldn't he just walk up and knock on the front door? 

Explaining Chrysalis' throne needs a little expansion, but I can accept it.  It might actually lend credence to a fanfiction notion I made involving one of my characters, if I stretched it enough...but that's not for here.  The rest of the world-building was interesting, though I have to wonder if the fact that Equestria is making all these connections to every other race on the planet is going to lead somewhere down the line...

Loved Chrysalis not being reformed at the end.  I kind of want her to stay a villain til the end of the series at least: I heard it pointed out that not everyone is receptive to change, and I think having a major threat be treated like that would be a good, balancing lesson this show seems pretty good at keeping up with.

I finally started to feel like Starlight is being redeemed.  I'm still wary of her, but the fact that she showed a conscious fear of how easy it could be for her to slip back into her power-hungry state made me realize she has been changing: her instincts might need work (still looking at you, Every Little Thing She Does), but Starlight is aware of why this is terrible.  Her endorsement from my princess Luna certainly didn't hurt, though I'm not convinced by her "I see much of myself in you" remark...

Trixie was also a fun addition to the story.  I have not been her biggest supporter (in fact she still drives me up the wall; it's that arrogant attitude of hers), but I'm convinced she'll take that breaking speech Discord gave her to heart.  I don't want her to give up performing, but I'd love for it to teach her just a little modesty while offstage.  Plus the idea of her and Discord teaming up to create a chaos-fueled stage show is just too great to pass up.

As for the new changeling designs...eh.  I sort of like the basic form save their tails, it does make them a distinct race and not just "ponies with something new attached", lets them be unique within their own culture thanks to the new colors, but I kind of liked the form we've become used to seeing.  That, and Thorax's new design just looks awful: I think it's mainly those bug-pincer antlers of his, it just looks ridiculous. 

And one more thing about the changelings: I can respect that they were repressed by Chrysalis' orders, but within moments of being shown another way, they can start to openly share love with others?  Something that I suspect took most of "Times They Are A Changeling" to accomplish for one, abnormal changeling?  This is probably more the "rushed ending" issue of mine again, but suddenly having the entire hive transform after only one changeling, which had been marked a deviant and traitor, showed off this unique trick.  Sorry, I just don't buy they figured that out so quickly...I wouldn't have a problem with them taking time to reflect on it, still rejecting Chrysalis but not grasping it and transforming just yet, but that went past reflection and into full-on embracing an entirely different approach to life far too quickly for my tastes.

So... the demo's out.

I'm not sure I should play it or not...

I mean... a part of me wants Ash-Greninja... but the other part of me thinks it's cheap and possibly cheating I guess?

I can't seem to make a decision here... help? 

Nothing says you have to use it even if you get it: I never used the Torchic I got in X, just boxed it straight away.
Since the demo is free, if you have the space for it I don't see a reason not to indulge your Pokemon interests a bit before the game's release.

Yeah, only 3 per-account, unless they changed things which is possible.
But does it really matter? The game is 100% free so you can have as many accounts as you like, which means 3X as many characters as you like.

I guess the notion of making a second account feels "wrong" somehow, like it's cheating.  That, and one character is going to have to be marked with the "dishonor" of being on the "spare" account, unless I make one account for each of the four OC's I intend to have.  Or maybe it feels wasteful to me; I just want everything to be efficient and easy, regardless of what reality actually says will happen.

So many things I want to do, so many things I HAVE to do, and so much sleep that needs to be had.  How one actually balance a schedule escapes me...

And for some reason, my worries right now are "should I post all 4 of my OC's to the forum at once and risk drowning anyone who might be interested in text?"
Well, that and trying to remember where it was posted that LoE will have 3 character slots per account.  I swear I saw it somewhere, but I can't remember where and want to confirm my memory isn't just dying.

I believe that what the show was going for was that the darkest parts of the world, and the Lost, can be brought to Light, but that we must be willing to open up the Truth, and spread the Light.

Beyond that, darkness is used in that way, because of the fact that the dark is where you can barely see, where the light seems to be covered, where influences of our mind can consume us. Even though I do like the night, what I mentioned is still worth acknowledging. The Darkening of the Spirit is the destruction of who one is, which is what is demonstrated by the Light versus Dark thing.

And may the light of Celestia bless us all.  I'd just like to allow for those of us with a certain photosensitivity (and I mean that literally, I can barely see anything during a cloudless day without sunglasses) to have an equal chance to experience that blessing.

There's a reason I love Luna especially: she's a great example of the "Sacred Darkness" trope, and the Yin-Yang symbolism that's heavy with her relationship to her sister helps promote the idea of balance being vital to life.  It's why I like seeing stories about Celestia being the one that turned evil: you're not likely to realize how damaging constant heat and light can be until your fields are burning from the exposure.  "An appointed time for everything" and all...

Midnight was used in that way, as the middle of the night yields the greatest darkness(even though technically that may not actually be true, but it is thought of like that). It was to showcase the darkness of that other side of her.

Personally, I loved that song, but I will not delve into why, for a few reasons.

Oh I understand the reason behind it's use.  It's just the less-rational parts of my brain took it as an attack on my character, my choice of name for something that represents a big part of me, because over-sensitivity.  I fully realize it's stupid, which is why I posted it here on "Dumb things"; it's more accurate to say I'm annoyed at myself for even thinking like this to begin with.  Besides some of the other lyrics feeling forced (which is a common problem with Ingram's work for me) I also enjoyed that song.

Though on the topic of "the greatest darkness", it does annoy me a little that the dark vs light metaphor is brought up relatively often in a world where one of the prevailing rulers IS the night itself, at least figuratively.  I understand why darkness is seen and used like that, but I thought with Luna we were trying to look past the darkness and see that appearances aren't the full story.

Twilight's song "The Midnight in Me" wasn't bad per se, but it left a bad taste in my mouth.  Why?  Probably because the word "Midnight" was given negative connotation...and my main OC/ponysona's name IS Midnight Storm, commonly shortened to Midnight.  So had to fend off the "being personally attacked" thought a little in order to enjoy it, just because I happened to choose a name they'd use later on.  Whoops.

Not sure, but they often come up when you mention a reviewer called Jim Sterling.
They also tried to sue 100 Steam users for almost every single consievable reason.

I found that suit absolutely hilarious: not only were there 100 defendants, but not a one had a real name attached to it!  They even gave up adding Steam usernames after the 12th or so, it's just "Jon or Jane Doe 13-100"!

I'm not usually one to follow potential controversy, but this has my interest peaked.  Probably won't mention it much on here as I expect it to get a little hot, but I'll be enjoying seeing what happens next.

Been having a rough week so far, part of it is my own fault, part of it is not having a lot of extra time to work on things and keep myself emotionally satisfied, so even a little thing like a friend offering me a drive to get some errands done was a big win for my mood.  Even got some compressed air and blew the vents out on my computer as best I could; here's hoping that helps my computer not be problematic!
