I'm not bothering with breeding until I'm done with the story...and honestly, I'm not sure I care about that either anymore. I'm never going competitive, why should I spend so much time trying to actually get a team I stole parts from Serebii or Smogon for without even knowing how to use them? I looked back at my old Pokemon X file and it's 450 hours long...WHY? I finished the game way early in that timeframe, and all I've been doing is wasting my time making a team of Pokemon that will never see the light of day anywhere but my own mind, and if I can already imagine or write whatever I want, what's the dang point of this?!

I've been using a Midnight form Lycanroc, Decidueye, Golisopod (which might stick around), Lurantis, Marowak, Stoutland, Salazzle, and Sandslash in rotation. But Sandslash, Decidueye and Lycanroc were just huge disappointments.
I am a fan of the Toucannon I picked up, and the Dhelmise, though the latter I have no idea what to do with. Also considering raising a Pikachu up and using an oldie but goodie for me, Absol.

I'm stuck right after reaching the fourth island. Not because I'm underleveled or anything, but because I really lost interest in the Pokemon I have for a team. The new Pokemon this generation I liked just aren't playing how I was hoping for them to play. It sapped all my motivation to work on it. I've liked the story so far, but the same thing happened to me in Black2: I just got tired of my team and didn't see enough options or desire to make a new one.

Being the one who has to tell your boss about bad news that wasn't your fault. Today, that bad news was "oh hey, I think the rain gutter is clogged, because the carpet up here is sopping wet." Which is another dumb thing, because I was the one who had to report a similar leak in my dorm building last year. Are these clogged drains following me?

This is something that gets to me because this is part of my job, but it might be understood by those with a certain desire for...reason.
This is a sheet of gel that light technicians use to color the various lighting instruments that illuminate a theater stage. That thing it's resting on is a paper cutter. There's a reason we use the paper cutter: because every instrument we have uses a square gel frame! And that little tag in the corner marks what color the gel is so that we know we put the right shade of 60-80 (no, that's not hyperbole) different blues, and every section has to have it written on it. In short: WHY did we do this!?
This is on top of people never cleaning up after themselves when a class comes through. I get that you might be in a hurry, but...so am I, when I have to hang and gel 40+ instruments, cable it, and make sure everything works in the span of my limited work hours.

This is a kind of second-hand dumb thing, but my housemate informs me that her home country makes sure to de-ice every road every time it gets snowy. Which becomes a problem when we're currently living in a place that does...not. Coming back from the airport I had to haul my suitcase across the street, practically skating my way down the road, because not one road around where I am has been well cleared. I'm confident the only reason I didn't slip and fall was because I'd previously read how to walk on ice while researching for a story.

How many complaints do you get on a daily basis about "game not working" anyways?
I'm trying out some older games I bought through the Humble Bundle, and a few of them have been pleasantly surprising. And a few have been utterly awful messes, painful controls, and just an outright disaster that's been work to try and play. Well, I know what's coming off my hard drive!

I have to admit I want Sunset Shimmer to come back to Equestria for this, at least only for the movie. I don't expect that to be the case, but that doesn't mean I don't want it badly.
Besides that, I haven't thought much about the movie. I'm kinda just doing what I try to do with episodes and wait to see what happens. I don't usually even look up the titles of an upcoming episode if I can help it, so following the same efforts I have utterly no clue what the movie is even about. All I know is they're apparently using a new animation software, so I won't be surprised if art or animation style changes just a bit.

Is this Norway? I must have taken a wrong turn somewhere and accidentally crossed the Atlantic.
As a native born Californian, I was alarmed to see that weather for my area is forecast to snow in the next two days. Its more just "oh hey, this is the weather around me now" and a change to be made but...windchill put it literally 6 degrees below freezing for the 10 minutes I had to walk from school to my house with food in my hand. That was fun.
Oh and to top it off, the house I'm renting has two divided living sections...and the place I can't get to just has their smoke detector's batteries dying. For some reason it only sounds in the middle of he night...when, you know, most students are trying to sleep. Or study before sleeping.

I finally got word back from the artist I commissioned a few months ago about reposting their work on other sites. Since I got the go-ahead, and I'm super excited to see it finally finished, I'd like to present my four OCs in left-to-right order: Vlyka Velveteen, Crystal Lattice, Midnight Storm and Winter Whisper.
Artwork is the work of http://sapphfyr.deviantart.com/, characters are my own. And it feels spectacular to have them rendered as more than just a bunch of Pony Creator avatars!
Updated: I submitted this to EqD's Drawified section, and it was up in the next one! I know that there's tons of art in there, but seeing my characters getting more eyes like that, even a cursory glance...there's something special feeling about that...

After agonizing over trying to make a new cutie mark for one of my OCs, and fighting with MS Paint for the last time, I finally threw it on the wayside and opted to try out a new art program. Within hours I managed to come up with something I'm not just satisfied with, but somewhat proud of. It's not the most detailed out there, and maybe a little cleanup is in order, but it's the most I've done for something like this! And the nagging thought of finishing this is finally gone after weeks of back-and-forth in my head.

The reason I don't play the hyper-competitive online games is because I know I'm terrible at gaming compared to most other people, despite it being a huge part of my life. I know I'm going to get showed up by somebody, so I don't bother to participate in something that's only going to upset me.
So why does that feeling have to happen when I'm playing cooperatively with someone too?! I can prove to myself I'm an incompetent gamer, thank you, I don't need your help with it!

I'm sorely tempted to get both, especially after learning Alolan Ninetails is Sun only, but there's no way I'm not starting at least with Moon. Probably going to go with Rowlet for that run. If I get Sun afterwards, it's going to be Popplio.
