Resolved Issues / Spambots?

I've been seeing a few spambots around recently. Anyone else noticed them? I know 'em when I see 'em, another forum I used to go on had like a total invasion of spambots. They had to start a completely new and separate forum to deal with it. Hope that doesn't happen here!

So here are the rules:
No legendary pokémon, except for specific times I may say it's okay(which may never happen, mind you)
When catching pokémon, the user IN CONTROL of that pokémon decides if the catch is successful. And Master Balls don't exist.
You may decline battles. Not everyone has to do battles.
You don't need to have a trainer character at all if you don't want to. You are allowed to have just pokémon characters.
Trainers can have as many pokémon as they want with them, and pokémon aren't limited to four moves.
In battles, there are no numbers. No HP, levels, stats, etc. Pokémon are generally evenly matched in strength, and there's no one-shotting the opponent.
Pokémon can talk to each other.

Anyway, you're basically free to do whatever you want in this pokémon world. Just have fun, go around and play with the other pokémon, do battles, thank Arceus there's no mosquito pokémon, socialize, whatever.

General info: Rainstorm lives in Ponyville, and it forever rains over his house. Being skilled in weather magic, he loves the rain. He always keeps it raining simply because he likes the sound of it, and it gives him a little magic exercise each time he has to refill the rain.

So here, I will have the info for all my non-pony OCs! I likely WON'T be using them for roleplays here, since it's obviously standard to use ponies, but should I at any point be allowed to use non-pony characters I will use these characters!

Name: Doro
Age: 12
Gender: boy
Cutie mark if he were a pony: Probably a mud splatter
Appearance:
Personality: Not unlike that of Rainstorm, my original pony OC, who Doro was based on. Although there's definite differences!
So he's always happy and playful, he definitely is excited about meeting people or ponies. Almost never without a smile on his face, he's definitely the most optimistic of my characters.
General info: Living with Heather(another OC I'll be detailing here) at a small farm, a crystal farm to be precise, built in the middle of an enchanted marsh, he spends a good amount of time doing work. When he's not working, he'll usually either go out to meet people, or just play around in the mud. He almost always presents himself with mud all over him, as it's not often he takes the time to wash himself. And always accompanied by a subtle yet pleasant swampy smell. He's also got quite a bit of magic in him. Earth magic, which also explains his mud love.

Name: Heather
Age: 16
Gender: girl
Cutie mark if she were a pony: probably some sort of plant?
Appearance: An anthro raven, with more colorful feathers here and there, wears a dress all made of leaves and vines
Personality: A little more serious, although still generally fun. She has a more quiet and gentle nature to her, though definitely not shy.
General info: She lives with Doro at his farm on the marsh, she mainly lives there because she likes to be surrounded by nature, and a swampy farm is a great place for that. Nature gives her strength, and as such she has powerful magic within her, being nature based, she can give life to plants and grow plants out of thin air.

Spoiler: Sylvester - a fox • show

Name: Sylvester
Age: unknown, he never tells anyone
Gender: boy
Cutie mark if he were a pony: Probably a map
Appearance: A regular fox, but with fur that can shift colors like a chameleon
Personality: Very cautious, not always trusting, and definitely very wise.
General info: He doesn't really live anywhere. He spends his whole life traveling. He loves seeing things he's never seen before. He doesn't have a lot of info to put, he's quite mysterious...

Spoiler: Cathleen - an Alligator • show

No info to put quite yet. But Cathleen's another character I'm working on. She's an alligator who lives out in the swamps near Doro, that's all I have so far.

As I said these won't be used inRP here except under conditions they'd be fine to use, but I needed a good place to put all their info out!

Resolved Issues / Add an "Are you sure" to logging out

It's very easy to accidentally hit the Logout button on accident, having it happen too many times in a row sometimes can give a temporary "ban", so to prevent this inconvenience I propose an "Are you sure" screen when you hit the Logout button, like it has with reporting.

Resolved Issues / Limit Emotes per Post!

You see those posts every once in a while, with a ton of emotes, it really looks annoying, they're angry, they spam a bunch of angry emotes, they're happy, they spam a bunch of happy emotes, you know what I mean. I suggest we limit it to 5 emotes per post, all further just come out as the text used to put them! I don't know if it's easy or even possible to program this, but it would help if it were.

Okay, this is pretty simple, you make a movie reference, the next person tries to guess it and tells their own.


Guy 1: Nobody's there, so no reference to guess! Anyway...

Guy 1: That's right! And, That Thing You Do!

Guy 3: Pshh, that's obvious, Frozen!

And so on. So you can use character names, quotes, name of an important place, or whatever. But if it's a quote, don't do something like "Hi." And it's alright if you can't immediately respond to confirm if they're correct. You don't even have to, but it's mostly just for fun to try and guess, and maybe even a fun way to see who's seen the same movies as you... Anyway, I'll provide the first one.

This is a Pokémon RP. You have two choices: to be a trainer or to be a trainer's Pokémon. Or both. In most video game RPs, they try to make the battles just like the game it's based on, but this is not the case here. In this you would describe the Pokémon's actions like you would in usual roleplay. There is no leveling system, and all Pokémon are evenly matched in power, meaning you can choose not to evolve your pokémon and they will be just as powerful. And you don't have to battle if you don't want to. There is no main character, and there is no plotline. If there is any sort of story, it will be completely player-created.

  Dear Yellow Light,

We are pleased to inform you that you are invited to bring yourself, friends, and family, to come aboard the cruise liner S.S. Cyan, and you will be a teacher at the school there, Seven Seas. You must come aboard while it is docked in Equestria.

                                   Sincerely, Superintendent ((I don't know what his name is))

"I can't believe I'm gonna be a teacher on a CRUISE SHIP!!! Friends and family... The family's comin' aboard too! And the S.S. Cyan? That's one of the most luxurious ones out there! I'm so excited! Rain! Flower! Come on, we'll go get Shine, Onyx, and whoever else!"

Personality: Happy and playful, and slightly childish.
Bio: She is very skilled in studying birds, having earned her cutie mark from doing such. She is very similar to her youngest son, Rainstorm, in many ways(including usually having muddy hooves!). She is very kind to her children, and cares for them very well. She is the wife of Canvas, mother to Rain, Yellow, and Lily.
Backstory: Puddlewalker grew up in Canterlot. Although her parents definitely did love her, they were a little surprised at how she was. She never really was quite Canterlot material. As was tradition in her family tree, the child is named once the parents learned something about the child. Because she always liked playing in mud and walking in puddles, she was named Puddlewalker. Although in her family she was loved much, at school, she occasionally received criticism for her "unladylike behavior". Later, she developed an interest in birds. She always said she liked them because "They look cute and it's fun to watch them fly around!" Her interesr drove her to studying birds, and she eventually earned her cutie mark through that study.

Many people believe the colors of the pony makes a difference in this, but if you pay attention to Pinkie, and I quote:
"When a pegasus goes so fast, BOOM, a sonic boom and a rainbow happen all at once!"
This seems to imply that it is a rainbow regardless of the pony who does it. The only reason Ranbow Dash is the only one to do it is because only she's fast enough. If anyone else made it to that speed, it would still make a rainbow explosion and trail.

Me? I'm the "watch the show and roleplay on forums" type, I've seen like 3 MLP YouTube vids, I know less than half the background ponies' names, and I have one piece of merchandise, a 2013 calendar. However I'm huge on forums. 8 OCs,(soon to be 9!) roleplay a lot.

What Pokémon would suit him/her? Which Pokémon would they want? First answer for any Pokémon, then, for LEGENDARY Pokémon.
Rainstorm definitely would have Mudkip. For legendary, Kyogre.
