Experience: Worked as an Administrator/moderator for 2 years in a sim called Avilion in Second life, Plus I run my own mail list for Police Scanner Radios and Ham Enthusiasts which is almost 2000 members strong and I have 5 moderators under me.
Plus I also Moderate several groups on FiM:Fiction
Why would you make a good moderator?: I am patient and work to learn both sides of a story before jumping to a conclusion, I am good at following rules of moderation and am always eager to learn.
Anything else you would like us to know?: I am also a helper and an advisor and am very good at working with others.

I am 59, 60 in July, and I was wondering, am I far to old to consider myself a Brony or Pegasister?
As far as being a fan, I can honestly say I am, I watch the series, I have videos that I purchased of the series, I have pony merchandise and have assembled a Cosplay outfit of Fluttershy, and I watch fan made videos and reviews on you tube. Though at this time I simply cannot afford to go to any conventions and know few other fans personally.
I do try to make friends within the fandom, but sometimes it seems my age is a turn off to others.
Am I just plain to old to be a fan? or at least wise, to old to NOT be a closet fan? Perhaps due to my age, I should keep my enjoyment of the series to myself and not try to share it with other fans?

Well, I am a Pegasister, almost 60 years of age and still going strong, but when I was young, I was bullied for anything, I was not the best in sports, not the best in math, and so on... Yeah, fun life, my parents and grandfather did not exactly think much of me either, both my parents are dead now, so I try not to speak ill of the dead.
Point is, life makes us who we are, and it is what we chose to do with it that sets our course, I set my course to be kind and gentle, caring and sharing, and to be helpful. Mostly, I am a shoulder to cry on, a good listener, and empathetic.
I am a leader, a teacher, a poet, a philosopher and a dreamer.
Should Ponies be for boys or girls? I say, who cares? They are for anyone who accepts them into their lives, and who cares what bullies think?
MLP:FiM teaches only good things, with a wonderful show, and it is wholesome for the family. Dang betcha, This here Pegasister is here to stay!

The way I am inclined to look at the whole "brony, anti brony" thing is, why should I care what others may think of me? I am simply put who I am, take me our leave me, tis no skin off my nose, not that I go around yelling "I am a brony" but neither will I deny it, it is part of what I am.

I would have to say as a way to bond with friends, primarily, but also as a way to allow my inner self come out and play, I do not play so much as an Actor playing a role, I play more as an extension of who I am, but in a different form, so in a way, it is sort of seeing things through the eyes of a shape shifter, shifting into different forms to play out what I am unable to do in life, thus to be the Pegasus, or the Unicorn, to try and feel what it is to be that, and still put myself into the role, I suppose the best way to describe this would be that I suspend my belief of being behind a screen acting, and try being the creature on the screen living with friends and having a good time.
