Of all the fanworks this one by far has the best animation. I really wish Double Rainboom has this kind of animation.
The song was pretty likeable, nothing I'd find myself humming and listening to again and again but it's still great.
The backstory really helped to understand what was going on in the video.
The only thing I don't quite like is that some parts of the animaated puppet look weird occassionally, like her eyelid and eyebrow putline being too thick.
Also the front view of the puppet ponies, they look off somehow
I feel like that building that had a bunch of fillies and colts sleeping in bunk beds was an orphanage or something. By the way, one of the fillies in that orphanage is the pony from the beginning of the video.
I also noticed one of them was sleeping under a piece of cardboard in an alley. :( Awww.

It's a shame this didn't turn out as long as I hoped it'd be, but I'm satisfied nonetheless.
Sweet animation? Check.
Luna in it? Check.
Purposely makes me feel sad / compassion about some of the characters? Nnope.
All in all best animation between this, double rainboom and snowdrop.
I liked it.
Little creeped about the whole kids floating away into the night thing, but it was sweet.

I know, it just reminds me of the 'The Pied Piper of Hamelin' story. Maybe some twisted fanfic will spin it into something darker.

(FYI, yes. I was in character there, but the same story above holds true for my real life. I love the animation but not princess luna im sorry but she just is not the kind of pony that really shows true princess nature but celestia ok she teats luna like she is her own daughter and shes not a tyrant for heaven sake but anyways I did like like the animation dont bash because I dont like luna its just that she still has more too learn about being the princess,I just wish she was more like celstia :l but still a good animation

If you did understand what she had to came through, you would understand why she acted that way. Being rejected and not getting the love from her subjects as her sisters gets for centuries, went to depression, sorrow and anger and then get banished to the moon for 1000years after incident. How would you feel like? :c
