Biggest thing I see is grammar, sentence structure and such. I also noticed that you accidentally leave out a word or two, which I do quite often whenever I type out a large amount of text.

Example: 'he just doesn't not being able to...'

Obviously there is a word missing from that. Also, run-on sentences, spelling, and random capitalization (Horror, Art, just to name two). I'd suggest going over it again to iron out the wrinkles. The result will be much easier and pleasing to read.

As for the character, you're not very specific with his skills. Artwork, building things and such doesn't really go indepth. Generally, he looks like a normal earth pony, except for what happened in the attic, also rather vague. Could it have been supernatural creatures, demons, or an army of overzealous termites with a strange taste for blood?
The skeleton of the character is visible, but the flesh needs to be added.
