The Final Fantasy series is chock full of good games, but it's not just the great gameplay that makes Final Fantasy so awesome, it's the music aswell  :D

I've had KH2 for over 3 years and I've only beaten Sephiroth twice. It's like 30 wins for Sephiroth, 1 or 2 wins for me.

That music still strikes fear in my heart from trying to beat him in the original KH. For some reason I thought KH2 Seph was a lot easier, in that he took me "only" maybe 10 tries to beat, but that's probably also because it's a lot easier to be high level without ridiculous grinding. (Seems like it, anyway.)

Well, this thread's going to fill up quickly with awesome Uematsu stuff, so I'll balance it out a little by adding some of the highlights from other composers in the series:

Mystic Quest was awesome, the first Final Fantasy game I played and the music was addicting  X3

I liked XII too. Certainly not my favorite (partly because the entire main quest becomes a joke if you get the Zodiac Spear, and the license board system has is problems) but I enjoyed it quite a bit. It also has Balthier, who is probably my all-time favorite FF character. I just wish I could get my hands on a copy of the "international Zodiac Job System" version.

YES! Best thread EVAR. I'm a FF music fanatic. I have most every OST from four to ten, and even a couple of pieces from twelve, which had very little Nobuo in it.

It's really hard to pick a favorite tune, but this one is close.

Another favorite.
