OC Thread deletion

On behalf of the twenty or so of us who had several pages of description in our OC threads deleted in the recent purge, would it be possible to have the OC description threads restored at least temporarily so that those of us who want to can get the information safely copied to another location for future reference?

OC description threads are usually just informational threads that therefore don't have very many posts, but can be crucial for those of us who rely on them to store information on our OCs so that we don't have to type the same thing over and over again when signing up for roleplays...

I'm very sorry for the loss of your threads. Unfortunately, I don't think we can bring them back. As you can see our team biographies have also been wiped.
I do apologize, next time one of the administrators does a forum purge, we will make sure they'll be more careful.

well, worth asking.  Thanks for the reply, and I'll make sure to upload a copy of my oc descriptions to an alternate site and redirect links there next time.

There is no way to bring these back I am afraid I have spent most of the night working on fixing it but cannot I am afraid.  Always keep back ups of everything.

I suggest that when you make a large, important post, you save a copy of it on Microsoft Word, Notepad, or some other text program.
