Talent: He can turn his wings into metal to slice through his opponents... also can summon a godly light to shine down on friends to increase there movement and a couple other aspects...

Personality: Ounce an Angel and now he has fallen into the world of Equestria, he is trying hard to get back into the place that he truly wants to be in... so he is kind, generous, and all that other good traits

Strengths: Cunning, and can just about get himself out of any situation

Weaknesses: has a habit to go into Fallen Stasis (a part that all Fallen Pony Angel's have; it makes them freak out and can hurt friends and other ponies near them) 

Fav. Things:
doesn't have much other then his obsession over trying to get back into heaven

he may sound OP but he is vary kind like i am and just because he controls the shadows doesn't mean his powers are the same as King Sombra's. And don't lit his dark colours fool you, it's just what has happened to him when he was a foal.

I wanted to make an Alicorn for the shear fact of the story im trying to finish.
He would be a side character in only few episodes of MLP: fim.

I have added some strengths and weaknesses to him.

Name:  Prince Dark Shadow (duh)_

Alicorn, Colt (Male)
Friendly if you already know him, but can be fierce.
  if he doesn't like you than stay away, or try to make him happy.

Age: 17, my age duh

Eye Colour: Fuchsia, and on his left eye there is a scar that goes over his eye-lid. his eyes can also allow him to see in the dark

Mane/Tail Color: Dark Purple, and when he stands in the sun his mane will light up and turn more neon purple.
Mane: shorter than princess luna's, yet a little longer than Rainbow Dash's mane.
Tail: Like Princess Luna's tail
Coat Colour:  Onyx, with dark purple for the outline

Cutie Mark: The gate to the shadow realm. Its a purple outlined circle that has four pointed spikes on four 'corners' and in the center from the bottom left to the top right the colours go from black to dark purple.

Talent: He can manipulate the shadows to create shadow beasts, go through the shadow realm, pretty much do anything with the shadow's.

Personality: He is loving, caring. When he chooses to he won't be seen. Friendly, but can be fierce at times. He is outgoing and a quick learner. he knows great patience and a great 6th sense.   

Strengths: Cunning and thoughtfulness gives him his strength. He is also Hyper at times. Good sense of direction. He is also vary loyal and will always protect his friends /family.

Weaknesses: Makes Mistakes in plans, his looks scare other ponies. Over uses his Shadows, will always try to save some pony in need (which can be his downfall[may result in injuries]) Over protective.

Oh, and have you condidered giving him special traits since hes a prince? You could make his hair dark purple, but in the light of the sun or the moon it becomes light purple? Like the feathers of some birds

yes thats actually what i was thinking cuz it will be light purple but also with a bit of transparency in the mane an tail, but his mane is medium in length yet wavy. And his tail is a little shorter than Luna's yet the same.

now all i need is someone to create the pony for me please

What did you think of the colors I came up with earlier? o A o did 1, 2 or 3 seem anywhere close to what you wanted? Or was I way off track?

No you are kinda on track its just that i think that what im asking is to much, because i have not gave a big example and typed up description on him.

It doesn't work like that... Could you at least make something in the pony creator first? And hexcodes for the colors are very helpful.

i might do that, and i have before, 4 times and i can't find anything that will work... i can find different mane an tail thats what i want, and is already made. and for the eyes i want the color to be Fuchsia

well i have read all the comments and i liked S_Realms idea for the eyes "Ohohoho with some permission I could have a lot of fun with this fella. I would start by using bright anime purple for his eyes. "
Also it would help if i could see more pics of your guys/gals ideas. All of you are helping me alot cuz i have been having artist block on this main O.C of mine, but have been making plenty of other O.Cs, so yes thank you all

This is helping me out alot for designing my main OC, but i've bin running into some problems on his coloring.
Here's the color scheme i had in mind and keep in mind that he is supposed to be dark colored.
black coat, and a purple (dark purple) mane and tail. his eye color though is a light purple kinda like Red-Violet...
Any thoughts on this?

Color scheme: Black body with dark purple mane and tail.
cutie mark: something resembling shadows or like that.
Description:Shy when you first meet him. A Gentle colt. But loves music. Out going, loves his friends, and is vary powerful. Can be fierce at times, but is a loving guy, and loves his friends.
Unicorn Powers:Can minipulate "Shadows" to create anything he wants- Portals, pets, etc.
Likes: Everything.
Dislikes: Evil lolololololol.
Family: The Alicorn family
Brothers: Prince LightRay
Sisters:Princess Ariel IronKnight, and Record Nine.
