There are no spells at all in the traditional since. You can't just read a spellbook and learn any spell. All magical spells are exactly the same as physical abilities - they are either tied to a weapon or a class spec tree.
There are two staves; destruction and restoration, that anyone can use. Both weapons allow casting of 5 and only 5 spells of their respective school in total. You cannot cast the spells without the staff equipped.
Other than weapons, the sorcerer class has two magic specs, one dedicated to conjuration and the other lighting-based destruction. The templar has two as well, restoration and fire-based destruction.
So yeah, the magic system is nothing like Skyrim's. If you guys are expecting this game to be Skyrim on multiplayer then you will be disappointed.

What about the Sneak classes and combos?
Anyone can get rid of someone pretty quickly if it has the x15 damage perk with daggers and invisibility.

I'm not really going to play this time, loe hasn't done a single update since the last test Even TTR is still closed to the public, and their daily updates aren't very good, but I enjoy reading their posts, sometimes they are really funny. But this game, they only participate in some places, and that's pretty much all they do. It makes me think that they only made the game for people to watch the updates that will never come, and instead they look at some "LOE AT THAT PLACE!" posts which don't really mean anything.

Ok i have read all those complains about bow range and stuff, apparently there is trajectory in Teso and you can skill longer range skills. But a maximum range is pretty necessary for this Game, imagine an Archer seeks an higher position and gets pretty skilled at trajectory calculations and hits you multiple times from very far away, he could most likely kill you without beeing attacked himself. This would be pretty realistic though, but it would kill the balance at some points.
Also currently the enemies that are hit get less dmg the farther they are away, there is also a skill to heighten the dmg that is made to further away enemies to compensate that.
Graphics:
The graphics are amazing for an mmo, some textures seem to be a bit washed out, but when you played other high graphics mmos, you know that they look much worse. Take gw2 for example and look closely on an object, believe me you will see what i mean. But Teso sets a new graphics standard for MMos.
Gameplay:
Yes TESO is not TES, but it comes close. You have lots of things todo and the leveling time feels right for a TES Game. The most amazing thing is that leveling seems to be much less important then in normal mmos, cause questing itself is fun and you don't even care if you level up or not (like in a TES game).
Combat:
The combat itself feels natural and is really close to TES games. With the little change that the animations of TESO look alot better! Even normal Enemies also have a vast variety of skills and combat behavior, which is uncommon if you think about f2p mmos.
Crafting:
While i didn't try it out completly and wasn't really interested in getting a high crafting skill in the beta, i did some crafting and got really useable items, and if i got it right you have a lot of options when it comes to crafting.
Compltetly agree with you, just to point that the story and the quests are awesome and helps to make the player feel like the world is "alive", it could be even better with random events like in GW2, but it could also kill the essence of TES, so i think the developing team did a very good work creating an inmersive and beautiful world for the playeres to be explored.
Not to mention that almost every single conversation is dubbed and the voice acting is excellent

With the release of Elder Scrolls Online looming on the horizon, I thought I'd get some statistics as to the makeup of you guys.
As for me? Redguard dragon knight, no question.
