Xin is waiting... His plan set in motion. The food prepared and the "special ingredient" added, the letters sent and hopefully received... All he had to do was wait... He sat in the room just off of the entrance, peering out one of the darkened windows, watching for when the others would arrive...

All he had to do now... Was wait.

ace approaches the house, he then knocks on the door

((I was going to wait for the others, but I can let you in...))

He moves from his as he saw Ace approaching. As Ace knocked on the door, Farsight opened it. [shadow=maroon,left]Aaah, welcome... Ace, you are the first! Come in. [/shadow]He moves aside to let the Unicorn enter.

((I derped on the message, but we can say that you are looking through the library or something.))

 thank you he walks in and looks through the library

Laebenal is walking towards the house.

(( Roofers are working on my neighbor's house. Sounds more like a shoot out to me. ))
Aqua approached the home, with an unreadable face. She walked slowly, in a more leisurely tone than usual.

((There very well could be a shoot out as well!!!))

Once he had Ace out of the way, he moved back to the front room to watch for the others. He sees both Lae and Aqua coming up, and heads back to the entrance, getting ready to open the door.

(( Yay, I made it! ))
Aureate approaches the house. As she is about to knock on the door
She thinks to her self,
My, what a lovely house. I can't wait to
see how it looks on the inside!
After she knocks on the door, adjusting her bow and fixing her dress to make
sure she looks fabulous!

Laebenal walks closer and sees Aureate in front of the door. "Hello there." She says and walks to her.

ace is looking through the books in the library

Aureate looks a bit suprised at Laebenal appearance, but ofcourse she quickly smiles at her.
Not wanting to be rude, and beside daddy always said her smile is the best thing about her.
Hello darling, you must be a friend of Farsight.

She walks into the house, but she stands a bit of a distance from Laebenal.
Not sure if her flaming mane will catch her hair and dress on fire.

"Yes. And my name is Laebenal." Laebenal says and enters the house.

He moves aside and lets the two in. [shadow=maroon,left]Welcome, welcome! There are still a few more that need to show up before we can begin. Ace is in the library, if you'd like join him, or I can show you to a sitting room or something. [/shadow]

He can see Aqua approaching as well, and continues to hold the door open.

((Sorry for being late, had to stay late at school since I lost my bag during lunch...long story short, I couldn't find it, somehow it ended up in another class room.  o.O))
Physics rushes to Farsights house and knocks, hoping he wasn't late for this party, he actually wanted to come for this one!

Well it's a pleasure to meet you.
As the two ponies enter the house, Aureate stops short at the front door.
She is amazed by how gorgeous the house is.
Smiling at Laebenal she said,
My, isn't this a beautiful house?
Almost as gorgeous as mine!

She flashes Farsight a smile
Why thank you dear, Laebenal can continue our chat in the sitting room.

As Physics rushes up, Xin moves quickly moves aside, not wanting to be trampled underhoof. An ember of hatred he had for the Unicorn burned in him... But soon... Soon he would have his revenge. And, oh, how sweet it would be!

"I don't know that much about houses as I live in a cave but I'll believe you in that." Laebenal says.

Well, not everypony can live in a nice big house like me.
I'm positive your cave is just as nice as this house.
But yes, this is very nice house.
Aureate smiles at Laebenal, then she starts walking toward
the sitting room.
As the two ponies are walking she said,
So you have you heard when dinner will be ready?
I'm starving! And good meal should make up for such a stressful day.

So what I miss? Physics says, looking around, checking out the food and other guests.

"I'm not sure but I'll think soon." Laebenal says and follows Aureate.

[shadow=red,left]Nothing at all, we haven't started yet... But Ace is back in the library, if you'd like to join him. Oh, and this sitting room is to the right of the entrance way, Aureate, Lae. [/shadow] He says, leading his guests around to where they wanted.

I guess the library sounds fine... Physics says with a smile on his face, though unsure of his decision.

She smiles at Farsight,
Thank you darling
Aureate leads the two ponies to the sitting room.
As she is about to sit down she stops short, looking a bit worried at Laebenal she said,
You CAN sit on a chair with. . .
You know, your " mane "?
It won't catch it on fire, right?

"Well, I haven't burn grass while sitting on it so I think not." Laebenal says and sits down.

ace keeps reading a book in the library

He leads Physics back into the library, a smile on his face. Many of the books are about dreams, mostly nightmares though.

The sitting room is nice. It's quaint and there are a few chairs scattered. There are a few statues. They look nice, but there is also a creepy factor to them... Nothing too dark though.

And when I see fire, I think of things catching on fire.
Aureate tilts her head, then said,
So, if anypony touched your hair, they wouldn't feel

Physics admires the statues, being able to appricate creepy things, having dealt with a few daemons in his past, these things weren't that creepy compared to those.

Aqua sits in the main room, admiring the place, at least what she can sense.

"Well, thank you for inviting me.. I don't think you would've, you know..." The unicorn said, trailing off at the end of her sentence.

ace sees physics, he puts the book down and goes to him hey physics

Aqua sighed a bit, hoping it was unnoticeable. "Well, anyways..." She was thinking that Farsight had either forgotten, or just didn't want to remember, but she shrugged it off.

Aureate nods, then slowly puts her hoof through her mane.
She then quickly pulls her hoof out, not in too much pain but startled by it.
Holding her hoof she said,
Well, it doesn't burn too bad. Left a mark though, but nothing too
serious.  
She then looks around the room for a clock
I wonder if all the guest have arrived yet.
I can hardly wait for dinner.

Risque arrives at Farsight's abode. He takes a minute to observe the structure, the finesse and hand it must have taken to develop such a fine piece of construction, along with the amount of bits it would have costed to procure it from said hand. He moves to the door, noting as much from the color of the home to the species of bugs trailing their way across the lawn. It's natural for him to break things apart around him through delicate thought. He is a writer, after all, and it helps to put things back together in creation at a later point.

And then a soft tap comes at the door. Whether opened or closed, Risque was the sort of stallion to knock before entering.

He heard the knock on the door, even though he was still pretty far back into the house, however soft it was... More, he could FEEL the knock, as if somepony had tapped him on the shoulder.

(how about the ones that are here attend the world tour, then the feast, and the ones that aren't here attend later, if not, we'll be waiting till all of us are here at the same time)

"You must be Farsight. Your knowledge of me lets me know that the letter about Explicit has arrived. She sends her deepest apologies for her absence. Understandable, however, considering her condition. Where are we gathering for the event?" Risque seems to know quite a bit about Farsight having never met him before. Explicit speaks highly of him for some reason she honestly can't recall to the fullest. He's taken her trust in him as a good sign for his own trust. He nods as he steps inside so that Farsight can close the door.

Aureate turns toward the direction of the sound of the door closing, grinning she said,
Sounds like another guest has arrived, shouldn't be too long till dinner and the grand
tour of Farsight's house.
She then looks back toward Laebenal, the two ponies continue to chat
as they wait for the last quest to arrive.

(we gonna get the tour and feast on the road?)

((We're still missing one... Might start the tour at least, and see if she makes the feast.))

He shuts the door behind Risque and says, [shadow=maroon,left]Well, we have two groups right now... Two are in the front room, and two are in the library... I am waiting for one more to show, but if she doesn't soon, I will start the Grand Tour and hope she makes it for the feast. [/shadow]

Enstra trots up to Farsight's door, and knocks politley. She marvels at the house, then looks back at the door.

Physics finds some generic book on sleeping, he opens it up and reads, not finding anything more interesting at the moment.

[shadow=maroon,left]And that must be the last guest! [/shadow]He says, [shadow=maroon,left]If I could ask a favor of you Risque? Could you gather the others in the library and bring them back here, to the sitting room where Areatu and Lae are? [/shadow]He begins to move to the door once more.

Not much...just a book on sleeping... Physics says.

Enstra knocks again, then tugs on her lacy black dress, shivering as a breeze blows.

He moves to the door and opens it. [shadow=maroon,left]Ah, Enstramentall! You look lovely tonight. Please, do come in! We are just about to start. [/shadow]He moves a side, allowing her room to enter.

Thank you, Farsight! She trots in. I hope I'm not late.. The house looks great! She smiles wide and looks back at Farsight.

[shadow=maroon,left]Why, thank you. [/shadow]He says, [shadow=maroon,left]And we were just about to start the Grand Tour... Just have to wait for the other three to get back from the library. [/shadow]He closes the door with his magic and begins to walk to the sitting room.

Risque moves through the main floor of the home, navigating his way to the library. There he meets several other ponies who were also invited to the event. He clears his throat and then makes the announcement. "Ahem, Farsight wishes for everyone to gather in the sitting room in preparation for the start of the event. I believe everyone has arrived." Risque says, nodding to the other ponies.

he comes away from the bookshelf alright, lets go he said, heading to the sitting room

Alright.  Enstra nods. :nod:

Physics telekinetically puts the book back and trots with Ace and Risque back to the room where every other pony was.

Aureate sits in her chair, she adjust her dress to make sure it doesn't get
any wrinkles while she is sitting down. She thinks to her self,
Dinner should be ready soon, and then the grand tour.
I can't wait to see the rest of the house.

Risque finds his way back to the sitting room with the other ponies. He takes a seat, waiting for Farsight to begin the event. He honestly doesn't have a huge reason to be here. He's sort of a recluse usually, but Explicit begged him to come in her stead.

Enstra smoothes her dress and moves a lock of hair out of her face.

ace takes a seat on the sofa

Aureate looks up from her dress to see who just had walked in, smiling she said,
Hello there

Physics gives a quick wave to Aureate, before finding a spot for himself to suit down. Hello. Physics tells her.

he smiles and says

Enstra looks down at her hooves uncomforabley. She is kind of shy when it comes to meeting others, and the only pony she knows here is Farsight, so she sits in the chair closest to him and a little ways away from the others.

Aureate smiles at all the ponies,
It is great to meet all of you, I am Aureate

Enstra looks up and smiles shyly. My name is Enstramentall, but you all can call me Enstra. She plays with the skirt of her dress nervousley.

Risque looks around the room, figuring himself rude for not introducing himself. "My name is Risque Repertoire." he says simply, no real emotion behind his introduction.

Physics Shift. Physics says, his name sounding as proudful as ever to the blue unicorn.

(when we do get to the feast, and we drop asleep, i got to go to bed then)

((Sounds like a good idea.))

The light green unicorn calms down a little bit, looks around at the decor. Her dark blue blue mane bounces lightly as she looks up at the lighting, then around at the furniture.

((I guess we can start, they won't miss much, just a house that's not going to be the same when you're all asleep.... And when you wake...))

[shadow=maroon,left]Well, now that we have everypony here... Shall we begin? Let us start with the Grand Tour. [/shadow]He says, not really paying attention to whether the others began to follow him or not. He goes through the hall that leads away from the Entrance Way to the right of the sitting room.

ace gets up and follows farsight

Aureate smiles, she then looks over toward Enstra,
I love your dress darling, its simply wonderful.

Aureate looks toward Farsight,
Ahhh yes, I've been dieing to see the rest of this house.
She gets up,she fixes her bow and dress; waiting for Farsight to lead the way

Enstra jumps to her feet and follows Farsight. She looks to Aureate, and smiles back. My mother made this for me. Your gown is lovely, too.  :) Where'd you get it from?   She gives in to light conversation.

Physics gets up and does a quick stretch, feeling somewhat tired from the running he did previously, he trots at a somewhat slow pace behind Farsight.

(maybe we could timeskip to the feast, as if we had the tour lol, as it is getting late for me now)

Risque stands, following after Farsight. He constantly examines his surroundings, making a mental note of how to exit the home should the need arise. He notices certain spots around the house that have been dusted, and others that haven't. This imbalance sends shivers down his spine, his OCD sparking up a bit.

[Reveal Fear: Eternal Imbalance.]

Aureate smiled at Enstra,
Well, she did a lovely job.
Mine is designed by my personal designer.
I get a new dress everyday.
But I can't say I really like this one too much.
The colours are disgusting, don't you agree?
She follows Farsight as well, looking around the house. She isn't
that impressed, but she hides her feelings well with a smile

Y..Yes.She decides to smile and agree. The colours really don't work together...  She says quietly.

((Aaahhh.... Okay... I guess we can timeskip...))

They wander about the house, Farsight showing them the different rooms. He takes them through his training room in the back to the small garden in the fenced-off backyard. They even went through the library, and many other different rooms that didn't seem to have a real purpose other than to please the eye... And ended in the large kitchen. He leads them to the table, food already set out, enough spots for them all.

Enstra smiles. What a lovely dinner! You cook, Farsight?  She lowers herself into a seat and looks around at the dishes.

Risque takes a seat at the table, looking over the food displayed. He refrains from giving his opinion of it. The food itself look delicious, but the presentation leaves something to be admired. He simply waits for the others to seat so that the event can continue.

Aureate grinned at Enstra comment, she then takes a seat at the table.
She waits till someone else starts eating, hating the idea of being the only
pony to eat.

Physics takes a seat as he feels his stomach grumble, he hasn't had a bite to eat for a while, and he recently ran, he felt slightly worn out. Food would help get rid of this feeling, he was eager to dig into it, and does so, levitating a apple to himself to chow down on.
Excuse if I eat much, kinda hungry here... Physics says, hoping his justification would be enough for the group.

ace also levitates an apple to him, and bites into and eats it

Enstra calmly reaches out for a roll, setting it on her late. She feels happy to be around such cool ponies.  Her eyes flick from dish to dish, and she uses her magic as best she can, levitating a salad over to her. She reaches for her silverware, and her hoof touches the knife. Her face turns pink with fear, and she lowers her head so the other ponies don't see. She calmly moves it away from her, then takes a sip of water.

[shadow=maroon,left]I've had to learn... Being on my own most of the time. [/shadow]He replies, taking his own seat at the head of the table. He serves everypony who hadn't started yet, putting on a show of caring about them... Which he didn't at all. He smiled as he did it. He thanks Ace as well.

While they had been on tour, a small amount of Paranoia began to seep into their minds, small at first, but growing. It still able to be shaken off.

Physics gives a weird shudder, for what reason...he couldn't quite put his hoof on it, but it wasn't exactly important now. Hey Farsight, I know most ponies don't have this but....do you have any meat? Physics asks his friend, hoping he could sate his carnivorous hunger for the moment.

Risque presses his hoof against one of the apples. He pulls it to his mouth, giving it a sniff before a small bite. Rather tasty apply. It seems to be enhanced somehow, almost as if it isn't real. He shrugs it off. Considering this man appears to be rich, he can't rule out the possibility that they're just very high quality apples.

we all have to learn sometime he shakes off, what he couldn't put his hoof on, then shrugs forgetting it for now

Aureate takes a roll and a apple, trying not to look like a pig.
She takes small bites of the roll, looking around to see how much the other
ponies are eating.

Enstra picks up an apple and takes a bite. It tastes great!  She smiles. Her food is delicious, and she's surrounded by cool ponies. Though a small stream of tension is in the air...She dismisses this as her own uneasiness about some of the other ponies and continues to eat.

[shadow=maroon,left]Meat...? Alas, I do not... I didn't expect anypony to be... Carnivorous[/shadow]As the ponies eat, Farsight chuckles to himself. The potion slowly takes affect, each getting tired as they eat... He had made sure to put extra doses in their drink as well.

Physics takes a sip from his drink. Say...any of this food taste...funny to you ponies? Physics asks, downing his drink, he felt extremely light headed at the moment for some reason.

Aureate picks up the apple to see how " great " it taste. She examines the apple for a
bit before taking a bite.
Its alright, I guess I am not that hungry.
She puts the apple down and takes a sip of water.
Looking toward Enstra she said,
You said your mother designed that dress, correct?
Is she a designer a well? Maybe I have heard of her.

ace takes a sip of his water as he eats, after he stopped eating and drinking he yawns a little sorry about that, i dont know what happened there, i must have yawned

Enstra lets out a yawn, then slowly takes another bite. Her name's White Rose, she lives in Canterlot. She swallows her bite, then tries as hard as she can to keep her eyes open.

he takes another sip, and he feels like he's going to collapse on the floor asleep i think...i think i'm just going to lay down and get...get some sleep he said yawning for the second time, then lays down, falling asleep

Physics takes a bite of a pie, finishing several slices rather quickly, before downing some juice, and giving out a yawn. You know...something tastes familiar about this... Physics says, feeling as if as though he tasted it once when he was one the job, giving a yawn in between this and his next sentence. *yaaawwnnn* Some sort of...potion I think....*yawn*....can't remember....which... Physics says, his eyes blinking into a sleepy state, as he slowly makes a make-shift pillow out of his hooves to rest his head.
I'm....just gonna take a nap... Physics says, closing his eyes off into a dream.

Aureate rubs her eyes, trying to stay awake.
Hmmm, how intersting. . .
Does she own a shop there?
She continues to eat the roll and drink the water.
Hoping that it will give her the engry to stay awake.

Enstra sips a little more water, then yawns again. I think they had the..right...idea...*yaaaaaaaaaaawn*. She leans on the side of the table, then falls asleep, sliding off so half of her is on the chair and half on the floor. A lacy layer of her dress falls over her head.

Physics realizes what was in the potion, he summons up the last bit of effort in his body to try to warn the others, he weakly pushes himself off the table, trying to stay up straight.
The half full bottle of juice was next to Physics, and he was far to tired to retaliate if anypony tried to force it down his throat.

9here is where i go to bed, have a good "nightmare!" lol)

Aureate notices the two ponies that had fallen a sleep, but too tired
to care. She gets up from the table,
I think. . . I will . . . go walk around for a bit. . .
Not really saying it to anypony, but for her self.
But as she was starting to get up, her body finaly gave out.
She collapse, banging her head on the table.

He took the bottle of juice and forced it down Physics throat. [shadow=red,left]THIS is for what you did to me...! [/shadow]He shouts at the unicorn.

As the ponies fall a sleep, an evil and malicious grin spreads on his face. His magic... Now red and black in color, envelopes the ponies and he carries them away. He moves toward the staircase that went upstairs. He hadn't shown them this part of the house, as he had forbidden it...

Upstairs was even weirder and darker. He took them to one of the side rooms, placing them all on a bed each. Once he had done this, he uses his horn to open a gateway to the Dreamworld... Ready to create the Nightmares where they would awake.

[shadow=red,left]The true Terror begins now...! [/shadow] Laughed Xin as he entered the Gateway.

((It's alright, gave me time to watch the Deus Ex lets play anyway.
Also you're not restraining us in the bed or stopping our magic in the real world? Does he want us to break out or something?  lol ))

((Oh.... He can keep you in the Nightmares... You can't escape... He just couldn't put you to sleep himself, one memory I hid away from him. Yes, Farsight is TRYING to help.))

he wakes up in the dreamworld, he looks around without saying a word

Risque watches as his sister dies, unable to do anything to help her.

And then his eyes sling open. A single tear is left in his eye. His own nightmares came every single night. Always watching the same event. Always feeling empty. He gets up and looks around, not remembering the room they're in. He walks to the door, attempting to look out into the hallway, and examining the surroundings.

Things were the same, but terribly different. The dust seemed like fire if one payed close enough attention.

And then the world changes around them. They are no longer in the same room Farsight had brought them to, but now in a dungeon, each in their own cell. The doors are locked and it is dark and dank... The only thing they can do now... Is wait.

Laebenal wakes up and looks around. "I shouldn't eat that apple.. Anypony knows what happened?" She says and sees they are in a dungeon. "This doesn't look good."

well, all i can do now, is wait he gets up, and walks to the cell doors

((I'm going to wait for the others to make a post, then I'll make my move.))

(that's going to be a while)

Enstra wakes up and sees that she's in a cell. WHAT?! She screeches, and bangs on a wall. Somepony help me! Why am I in here?! Her tiredness quickly diminishes and is replaced by her terror, not knowing where she is. Then, she stops banging. Would Farsight do something like this to anypony? She says quietly. Tears start to well up in her eyes.

((Forgot to mention, you can talk to each other, the cells are close by, you just can't see each other unless you look out the small, barred window in the cell doors.))

((THat would have been good to know.  lol Enstra, no need to scream, they can hear you! But anyways... ))

what was in the food and drink? and...where am i?

((Screaming is only natural when you wake up in a new, unknown, and scary place!  X3))

Enstra hears Tezaku ((it's Tezaku, right?)) calling. Hi! I can hear you! She smiles, realizing the others aren't far away.

((Nope, no teleportation... Probably a good thing, since I think 5/7 of you are unicorns(Unicorns having unicorn friends... WHHAAA?!). Magic is severely restricted when you don't enter the Dreamworld in the flesh. You can levitate, but it's a lot more draining and you can cast a light spell on your horn, but it doesn't help you stay sane.))

Risque looks out of his cell door once more, noticing the sounds of other ponies, and one scream that bothered him in particular. He pushes his hoof against the cell door, not managing to budge it. He tries to activate a spell of teleportation, but it fails. Not like it would have really succeeded anyways. Just seemed like something he should try.

He sits back on the bed in his cell, simply waiting, not bothering to converse with the other ponies.

i hope others are awake he said, then he goes to the bed, sitting on it waiting

"Anypony else here?" Laebenal asks from her cell.

((Posting from school, don´t expect a reply soon after this. Also sorry for leaving so suddenly last night, I though we agreed to stop after we wen´t so I got confused.  :P))
Physics wakes up, he stretches, and notices the bars of the cell brush against his hooves when he stretches them out.
o.O What the Tartarus? Physics says looking around, seeing all the cells around everyone, he recalls the potion incident, he quickly starts to panic, trying to cast a fire spell to melt through the bars, but for some reason it only comes off as a small blaze, like a lighter, not even touching the bars. Physics bangs his hooves against the bar in anger, trying to get them loose.
Let! *pound* Me! *smack* Out! *knock* Physics shouts, pounding on the bar between each word, trying to get out.

"Oh, who are you, panicking pony?" Laebenal asks. She is scared too but she has been captured many times before so she won't panic.

Physics stops his banging against the bars, tired from all the physical effort.I´?...Physics Shift.... He says, breathing deeply to catch his breath.
And..*sharp inhale*..I think I sold Farsight the potions....that made us sleep... He says, feeling slightly ashamed of himself.

farsight wouldn't do this, he could be possessed by somepony

"What is going to happen to us?" Laebenal says mostly to herself.

ace just sits on his bed, looking down, waiting to find out what happens next i have a bad feeling about this place he says to the others

Aureate wakes up, but stays laying in the bed.
She normaly gets sick after taking anything that has a strong potion in it.
She looks around the cell from her bed. Not aware the others are here, she
lays in her cell quitly.

Physics continues try to bust down his cage bars, failing miserably due to his weak strength. Come oooonnnn! Just break! Physics complains.

Laebenal sighs and sits down in front of her cells door. She thinks about the size of the cell and the other ponies in there to prevent  herself from panicing.

it's no use physics, give it up he said going to the cell door

 Yes, please stop.
You are giving me a head ache!
Aureate rubs her head, still hurt from banging it on the table.

But...I refuse to give up.... Physics says, not wanting to give into despair.

Laebenal closes her eyes to better focus on her thoughts instead of the situation they are in.

((Wish Coffee was on... I don't like leavin anypony behind.... *sigh*))

Aureate rolls over to face the wall, she stares at it.
Thinking this can't be real, that its all just a dream . . .
She rubs her head, feeling the heat from the spot where it was it.
A bit sick, she slowly starts to close her eyes

Aqua wakes up in her own cell, standing up with her eyes shut. "Ugh..." The mare opens her eyes.
(( Can she see now? ))

((Yes, she can see now Coffee.))

The door to the dungeon swings open, a creaking sound emanating from it. A shadow slowly creeps in, like a fog, and after it walks in Farsight... But there is a difference about him. The normal gray color his irises used to be are now red, and they are no longer kind and caring. Now they have a malice in them. He walks to each cell and looks in, sneering at each pony. When he reaches Physics' cell, he laughs... A laugh very familiar to Physics... [shadow=red,left]Why, hello Physics! I'm glad we could meet again! [/shadow]He says, the voice is even more familiar than the laugh. His sneer deepens. [shadow=red,left]It will be just a matter of time before you all break and I will have new minions! [/shadow]He laughs once more, and leaves the dungeon, the fog trailing behind him. The door slams shut.

After Xin had left, a small voice could be heard, echoing through each of the captive pony's heads. I... I don't have much time... He is keeping me in the top room of this place.... I'll... I'll help how I can, first by letting you out of those cells... There is a series of clicks as each cell door opens, There... I have also left a key... Somewhere in the room... I can't put it directly anywhere, or he'll know... Hurry, I don't have much time... He finishes, trailing off.

The cells are open, and the key is given. Find it, and begin your challenges. All Sanity is at 100%. Look everywhere, in your cells and outside. There are a few piles of rubble scattered around and of course you have the beds you were sitting on.

Physics jumps out of his cell, landing on his hooves, the motion managed to fully wake himself up. Well who ever said Farsight was possessed...you where right...thankfully he's not exactly possessed by the best of nightmare lords.... Physics tells the group. Before scanning the area to get a better idea of what the room looked like.

he begins to look in his cell it was me, i said it

Aureate jumps out of the bed, she then begins to look around her cell.
She looks under the bed, and the corners of the room.
I have to find this key. . . I need to get out of here. . .
Before it gets. . . . Dark. . .

Enstra looks around for the key, first underneath the mattress, then she gropes around the corners of the room. Key...Key.... She looks about anxiousley.

Laebenal falls on her back as the door opens behind her. "Hey! You could have warned..." She then gets up and looks around.

Physics continues looking around the area, maybe some cracks in the walls, maybe some sort of trap door or invisible box? Anything really would help right now...
Physics rubs his hooves againts the westward wall, trying to find some sort of crack or hollow part of it.

Risque looks up and watches the figure through his cell door. He then begins looking for the key, wanting to rid himself of the crowd. He wasn't interested in finding his way up, he wanted to go down and out. Explicit had told him something like this would happen. How would she have known, though? And why, oh might Celestia, wouldn't he listen?

He checks under his mattress, in the nooks of the metal framing holding the bed up, every inch of the flooring, several small cracks in the walls. Finally, unsatisfied by his lack of findings, he attempts to use his magic for something, feeling that it has failed. He growls low so that nobody can hear. And then he carefully pulls at the seems of his mattress, finally succeeding in ripping it far enough to reach his hoof inside and feel around for a possible key.

"Didn't he say something about a key?" Laebenal thought and went back to her cell to search any key that might be there.

yes, he did he searches through his cell, under his bed, under his matress, and under his pillow (if it had a pillow) i think i have got it

All Ace pulls out is a rusty piece of metal, not useful for anything really...

As the ponies search, a glint of metal can be seen coming from one of the rubble piles outside their cells.

ugh, never mind, it isn't it he hears it, and heads out of the cell, and goes to where it came from, takes the rubble away, and picks up the key this time i got it

All ponies gain 5% Sanity... Although they are already at 100%, so no changes are made.

The door waits to be opened.... And the real Nightmare to begin...


((Now I think we need to wait for a few more to get on.... And this laptop is starting to get hot.... I wish I had something to put under it. *sigh*))

Physics goes to examine the key. Well good job Ace, now we can continue....but to what? Physics says, slightly confused himself. I mean what are we going to do next? Physics asks, knowing the group had no plan on rescuing Farsight or getting themselves out of the dream realm. I mean I might be able to get us out, Farsight taught me the trick to getting in and out of the dreamworld, and we can take the nightmare lord thing out when we´re in the real world...but with how restricted my magic is in here, I don´t think I can do it... Physics says.

well i have a feeling, if its this nightmare lord you talk about, i have a bad feeling about this

"So, you found the key? What now?" Laebenal asks when she comes out from her cell.

i don't know, but i have a bad feeling, if he is what physics say he is, then he could do anything while we're in here

Aqua blinked her eyes twiceover, in disbelief of something. "Oh my..." The mare said, uneasily stepping towards her cell door.

Physics sits down for a few minutes and thinks for awhile, before coming up with a plan. Guys (ponies?), I think I got a plan... Physics says, somewhat excitedly. We wait in our cages, and when Xim comes back, thinking we are locked up, we get out...and jump him. Physics says.

"As far as I know this dream isn't controlled by us and seems like he can control it. We should avoid open contact with him until we have gathered more information." Laebenal says.

We don't know what type of control he has...for all we know he could only be able to make bananas. Physics says, not really fully sure of his plan anymore.

he's in farsight, so surely, he can do everything farsight can do, maybe more, so i think that plan is out

Physics sighs. So do we just sneak through the door then or what? Physics asks.

As the ponies debate over plans, the walls begin to seep water, as if they were weeping. They hadn't noticed yet, because they were busy and the water hadn't reached them, but more and more began to pour in as time went on.

((Uh oh....))

"Well, we have to do something." Laebenal says.

yes i know we need to do something, but what can we do?

Physics goes to lean on a wall while he waits, he notices the wet feeling of it.  o.O Wh-what the? He says, putting his wet hoof to his face to see what happened. Is this....water!?! Physics says in confusion.

"Oh no..." Laebenal says and tries to find a good dry spot.

Suddenly, right next to Physics, a gout bursts out, and more water rushes in. No longer is it weeping, but flooding in. It started happening all over the place, as other spots burst with water.

Physics is hit in the face by the gout of water, being blasted across the room from the pressure of the hit. Gawwhhh-gurgle gurgle! Physics shouts, before his screams are altered by the water. Physics manages to do a weak teleport, moving a few feet to his side, out of the spray zone.

"We need to get out!" Laebenal shouts while flying on low altitude to prevent touch with water.

he goes to the wall to stop going wtih the flow of the water

Aqua is a bit helpless, but backs up to a crack in the wall. Her eyes seem normal, like she can see, and she probably can. "Somepony going to go unlock our doors?" She asked, blocking the water from the hole. A few seconds later, the pressure gets high enough, and blows her into her own cell door cartoonishly. It looks like it hurts, though.

Physics rushes to help Aqua up, not wanting to lose any member of their group this soon. He helps her up. You alright? Physics asks Aqua.

She steps up with a groan, shaking her head quickly like a dog to get some water out of her mane. "I've been through worse.." Aqua mutters, regaining her composure.

Physics gives a slightly sincere smile. Good, we need all the bodies we can get now... Physics says, using logic rather then emotions right now to reason.

"Yes.. Can you work faster with the key?!" Aqua called out, not wanting to drown.

Actually we already found it... Physics points out to Aqua. We where just trying to decide what our plan was..... Physics says.

"We are in the dreamworld... So... He has more power over us..." Aqua mentioned, avoiding some of the water.

Due to this event, the sanity of all ponies decreased by 10% They now have 90% Sanity.

The water comes rushing in faster and faster. It's filled about a quarter of the room now, up to their knees. They had better hurry with that door.

Physics starts to worry, all this worrying could not possibly be good for his mind! ACE! Open the door...now.... Physics shouts.

he unlocks the door

The pressure from the water build-up forces the door open, and all the ponies flow out with it. They seem safe... For now...


For escaping the Flooding Room, all ponies regain 25% Sanity, putting them back to 100%.

phew, what next is going to happen i wonder...

Physics seems to be able to think more calmly now, now that his sudden death wasn't a immediate threat to his life. He slowly begins to trots towards the door. Let's just go now, before something else happens to us....

Aqua nods in agreement. "Yeah... Maybe find a way out of here."

Better then waiting for our death in there... Physics points out.

As Physics leaves the room he is stunned by what he finds. Instead if a normal hallway, he stands on a walk way with a sheer drop into deep, dark blackness on either side. It's dark, but an eerie reddish glow slightly lights the area. There is only one path so far... Straight, into the abyss beyond.

All ponies are at 100% Sanity.

Physics stops, knowing there could be something worse on the other side. Alright darkness...this isn't exactly the most safe of ways to go...but it's the only way... Physics says, going forward to brave the darkness.

Enstra follows Physics. What do you see? Is it just dark?!  She looks around for any light.

I see nothing...I...I think I can try to cast a light spell... Physics says, as he tries to focus all his magic into making a light spell so they would not be blind.
((Magic is only weakened, not fully stopped right?))

Enstra, even though she's never been good with magic, tries to conjour up a lantern or a candle or something. I'm trying, too.....The more light, the better....

((Its not fully stopped, just severely weakened. You're not in your body after all.))

With a sizzle and a POP, a spark illuminates the room for a second before Enstra's magic fades. Dag nab it....Enstra hisses under her breath.

Physics manages to make a small flash-light like spell, though it wasn't very big, he could see infront of himself, but not very widely.

Well it's something... Physics says, glad that he was no longer blind in the darkness.

Laebenal is looking around trying to see something useful.

Esntra nods, and tries not to trip over her hooves as she walks.

Physics continues shining the light, mostly forward, though sometimes moving it off to the side to search the area.

Laebenal follows Physics and Enstra. "What do you think we might find here?" She says.

All he can see ahead of him is the walkway and the drops, although he can see a light at the end... But only barely. Strange sounds can be heard coming from the drops on either side of the causeway, almost fluid, squishing sounds, like something is moving. There is only one way to go... Straight.

The strange sounds are wearing on the Sanity of the party, they will begin to lose 1% every turn if they do not move fast enough.

Physics hears the sounds, he doesn't like...something about them. I'm going to....scout ahead... Physics lies, as he moves forward to try to escape the terrible sounds.
((May I suggest a post Sanity meter for each pony so we know where we all are exactly?))

Enstra's curiousity gets the best of her, and she gallops up ahead to try and reach the light.  She calls out in response to the sounds she's hearing.Hello?! Is anypony there?!

Enstra skids to a halt. Right... Sorry... She keeps going, but at a trot instead of a gallop.

As the ponies were concentrating on Enstra getting too far ahead, they hadn't noticed the sounds had stopped. The light was a bit closer now, and they could see that it looked like a doorway.

Physics focuses his light spell on the door, getting a clear view of it. You think? Physics says ironically, giving a small chuckle, trying to break the tension with a little joke. Anyway yea, better then standing around here.

ace nods, then he heads towards the doorway

As they neared the door, they could see it was open, and another hallway, much better lit, was beyond. Unbeknownst to them, something had started to crawl up the walls. The sounds had started again, and they were getting louder.

That sounds like a good idea yes... Physics says, now at a full gallop towards the door, upon reaching he quickly tries to open it.

Aqua was lingering behind the group. She wasn't used to seeing when she could control her body, like in a lucid dream or something. She was hoping that this was just a lucid dream, but sadly it was not.

Most of the group was waiting while Physics was trying to open the "door" that wasn't there. For some reason, it just wouldn't budge. The sound had stopped again, and now it felt like something was watching, waiting. Even with the sound gone, an aura of despair continued to eat at their Sanity.

bust it open if you have to!

Enstra feels a slight tinge of fear race through her mind, and she turns around, trying to use her hind legs to open the door.((Applejack style))

Physics thinks of a quick idea. He brushes fully against the door, his back as flat as he could make it against it, before vanishing for a moment, using all of his power to try to teleport to the other side.

Both Physics and Enstra fall through the doorway, no door actually having been there. As they fall, a screeching cry sounds in the entire room and tendrils of a dark liquid shoot off from the walls, attempting to grab the ponies and pull them into the darkness below.

((I'm thinking a 15% Sanity loss for this event, and that those who haven't posted will be "teleported" to you guys, or they had followed you through.))

Enstra stands up and closes her eyes, racing away from the darkness trying to grab them. Run!  Enstra says, freaking out slightly.

oh my word! he says, trying not to get caught by the tendrils running by them

Aqua gasps, avoiding some of them by galloping towards the door. She almost trips over one, not yet used to her new sight.

Laebenal is trying to avoid the liquid and runs. "What are these? What they want from me?" She says.

Physics, rather then trying to make a mad-dash, tries his best to advance, though prioritizing avoiding the tendrils first and foremost.

Enstra skids to a halt. Physics! What are you doing?!

Just as suddenly as the tendrils attacked... They faded away, becoming a dark mist that seemed to evaporate. It smelled aweful. Just as the tendrils faded, a loud voice spoke, seeming to shake the entire world.

[shadow=red,left]I see you have escaped! No matter, I can still make you my puppets while you try and run away... [/shadow]A booming, maniacal laughter follows the words.

The group finds themselves back in "Farsight's House". There are three hallways leading off in varying directions, with no way of telling which leads to the exit.

Enstra quivers, then shouts, WHO THE HAY TO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO TRY AND STOP US?! AND HOW DO YOU PRESUME YOU'LL KEEP US HERE?

Physics was about to answer the question, before seeing the world change before his eyes. I was trying to avoid the tendril things...though it seems we have a new problem now... Physics says, looking around the area.
Alright, stick to the left side wall, and follow along it, we'll eventually get to a exit, and don't. split. up. Physics instructs, putting his side to the wall to his left, and following it to the left side exit, waiting for the others to follow before going any more steps the one into the hallway.

The unicorn skids to a halt near the group, panting a bit. "... Why left...?" Aqua's voice is a little shaky as she asks.

Physics gives a shrug. That's the why I've heard we get out of a maze...forgot the exact reason behind it thought....something about going through every room or close to that... Physics says, trying to recall the exact reason.

Well, let's get a move on, then...

The ponies start down the left branching hallway, and it seems the same as the ones back in the real world, statues and pictures included... But they seem... Creepier here. Almost as if they move whenever nopony is looking or when they can only see them out of the corner if their eyes.

Lit area, no Sanity is being lost, but the creepy factor is preventing Sanity gain.

Aqua continues on, looking at some of the paintings as she passes by.

Enstra cowers slightly under the statues' gazes. ((Reminds me of Weeping Angels from Doctor Who...))

Physics tries his best to ignore the creepy things in the hallway, looking only forward in the path, trying his hardest to stay focused on the task at hoof.

There is a T-like intersection ahead, one hall leading to the left, one right.

Esntra perks her head up. I say we swing right.

"... I have to agree... Superstitions aren't always true." Aqua says, motioning to the right.

Enstra looks down each hallway. What do you all think? Which way?

It's not superstition! It was based of logic and fact....I think... Physics screams, though whispering the last part. So yea...left..

The problem is that there is no "ahead" only left and right.... Physics grumbles.

Laebenal waits their decicion without saying a word.

Aqua thinks for a moment how that would be fact... Then realizes it. "Lets go left, than.."

Well, I guess left is where everypony wants to go.

Physics gives a nod of conformation, before trotting off towards the left side.

Laebenal walks to the left too.

Aqua runs her hoof along the wall to the left to make sure they were headed to the right direction.

The hall twists and turns for a while before another T-intersection is ahead of them. The statues seem to be watching them.

You know what....left doesn't seem to be giving us any luck...and I remembered this is a dream world...logic isn't exactly going to work fully in here... Physics says, while gazing back at the statue. So lets try out right....maybe our luck will change... Physics reasons, giving a small shudder as he meets the statues eyes with his own gaze.

alright lets go

Laebenal takes a look on a statue. "I don't like these statues..." She says.

Aqua just ignored the statue. She was deciding which way to go.

Enstra nods. Yeah, they're pretty freaky. I'd like to try not to look at them if I can.

While the ponies were chatting and deciding which way to go, hoofsteps could be heard coming from behind them, down the hall they had just followed. They sounded really heavy and there were pauses in between each on.

?!  Enstra whipped around.

Physics backs off into the right corridor, still not breaking eye-contact with the statue as he backed away from it, for some reason or another, Physics could not find the willpower to break the gaze from it.

"What is that sound?" Laebenal says while backing off.

The hoofsteps continued to get louder, but nothing had appeared in the hall behind them yet. The statue that Physics was staring at moved a little, and it's eyes started to glow, very faintly at first.

Physics gaze at the light of the statues eyes, seemingly hypnotized by it. His hooves stop moving back so he could keep staring, it seems the damage to his sanity has started taking it's affect on Physics poor mind, causing him to take rather insane decisions. Physics gives a idiots smiles, unable to fully understand the situation in his current status.

i dont like the statues he hears the hoovesteps and turns to where it came from who'se there?

Physics begins developing a small mad chuckle as he stares.  ovO
((I'm surprised this isn't taking any damage to his sanity.))

From around the corner, a large statue can be seen approaching the group. It's eyes are glowing a deep red color and it looks intent on squishing the party. The statue that Physics is staring at has him hopelessly ensnared in a mind trap.

Aqua stares at the statue that's slowly approaching then, and steps back, away from it. "Uh.. Guys.."

Physics was unable to reply to Aquas' warning, too busy having his mind slowly destroyed by the statue, if only somepony else could snap him out of it.

Laebenal backs off while looking at the moving statue.

The Statue continues to drain Physics' Sanity and the sight of the large statue slowly takes it's toll on the Sanity of the others. It slowly continues down the hall, the ground actually shaking with each step.

Physics, his mind now almost fully gone, makes a even worse decision. He slowly trots towards the statue with the glowing eyes, so he could get a far better look at it, despite their being another statue in the way.
Precious...precious. Physics whispers as he trots.

"Eep!" Laebenal couldn't take it anymore and she stared running and bumbed into Physics.

Aqua watches Physics' actions, ready to do something about it. She watches Laebenal first before taking action.

Physics bumps into the walking statue, knocking him out of his trance-like-state, he looks up at this new one, and screams in fear, jumping backwards, and using his hooves to push himself further back from this one.

we have to get moving

The statue attempts to take a swing at Physics, but misses. It lets out a low rumbling sound, like rocks running down the side of a hill and moves forward again, trying to get in close enough to hit them. There are only 2 ways to go now, right or left.

Laebenal says nothing and starts to run to the right.

Physics, realizing what is going on now and no longer in his trance jumps onto his hooves, and spins around to face the right path, and runs towards it at full speed, not wasting any more time in this area.

Aqua trots backwards, studying the moving statue for a bit before following the group.

ace follows too

Enstra gallops as fast as she can to the left, deciding to see if she can sidetrack the statue and get it away from the group.

As the ponies gallop, the group to the right a bit ahead of Enstra on their path, the sound of the statue recedes in the distance. The group nears yet another intersection, this time it's has 3 exits, one to the left, right and straight ahead. After a moment, Enstra is on the path straight ahead of them, making it so they can only really go left or right.

Enstra gestures to the right path. Run that way! She shouts, dashing on the path streight ahead of them.

As she turns down the path to her right, she can see the dark room that had the tendrils in it. They were all back where they had started... So there was only one way to actually go... The hall that had been right in front of them when they left the dungeon.

Laebenal calms down when the statue weren't near anymore and stopped running around. "What now?" She asks.

What the hay?! Enstra looks around, unsure.

Physics, unable to take it anymore, falls down on the group, collapsing and holding his head with his hooves tightly.

There was only one way to go...

Physics slowly crawls towards the one path they had left, unable to fully walk anymore due to how broken his was at the moment.

Enstra leans down by Phsycics. It's alright, calm down! You're okay! It's just a nightmare!  She tries to calm him down.

Physics stares at Enstra and looks at her in the eyes for a moment, before nodding quickly, regaining some of his thinking prowess back, for the moment atleast. Th...thanks... Physics says, his mouth hanging open after the words, his mind still not fully right.

As they move down the hall, they can see the door that leads out of Farsight's house at the end. It was their escape... Or was it...?

Physics rushes to the door as fast as possible, his movement was still fairly random and non-nonsensical, but it was still mostly in a straight line.

As they neared the door they could see that it was definitely the door that led out of Farsight's house in the real world. But who knows where it would lead here....

Physics slams head first into the door, trying to tackle through it, forgetting that such a action would cause PAIN ALL OVER HIS FACE!
AAARGGGHHH! Physics shouts as his frontal face bangs into the door.

he opens the door (off to bed night)

"That's not how you open doors, silly." Laebenal says to Physics giggling.

Physics scrambles his hooves over the door, trying to find the door knob in his mad-ridden state, though failing miserably at doing so.

((Don't worry, Ace already opened the door! Man... Physics is having a real hard time opening doors, isn't he?  X3 Also, I'm waiting until tomorrow before I post what's behind the door, gunna send some messages out and remind people about this, like I said, I don't like leaving anypony behind, and I think 2 or 3 got left waaaay behind.))

Aqua caught up to the group at the door. She saw the door, and what lay beyond it, whatever that was.

Physics, failing to find a door knob, resorts to trying to head-butt the door open.

While Physics "charges" up a headbutt, Ace manages to get the door open, and it glides soundlessly. Physics falls through it as he swings his head forward. What's on the other side is definitely not Ponyville.... But the beginnings of a labyrinth. The entrance can be seen a few feet down the side of the 10 foot tall walls.

Sounds can be heard coming from all over, but they don't affect your Sanity. You also gain Sanity for escaping the first level.

Physics looks around the intimidating walls, he looks forward with a scared shudder, but he trots towards it, having no other way to go, but back into the place where he lost most of his sanity.

Aqua took a deep breath, knowing that this wouldn't be over for a while. Her eyes dart around, trying to decide where to go. "Anypony have some string?"

And suddenly, everypony had a saddlebag. Each had a bit of useful gear in it, from a portable light source to what Ace had, string. It was just another little bit of help that Farsight was trying to give the ponies.

Physics quickly checks his saddle bag to see what gear he got.

((Physics finds a helmet... Since he likes ramming his head into things.... X3))

Physics pulls out small knife, not enough to do any damage, but he could cut ropes and such. He also found a few magic glowing sticks, which could be used to light the way in dark places.

ace looks to see what else he has

OkayOkayOkay, knife....and glowey sticks... Physics tells the group. What you ponies got? Physics asks, his vocabulary still affected by his relatively low sanity.

Ace has a few spheres in his bag, each with a wick that looks like it can be lit. Although he has nothing to light the wicks left.

Aqua opens her saddlebag up, and stares inside. She levitates all of the items into the air.

((Like I said in LiP, I'm going to go see a movie, so I'll talk to you all later.))

Aqua has a few sticks that look kind of like matches as well as a few small glass spheres with some liquid inside of them. She had no idea what they would do, nor how to light the match-like sticks.

Aqua examined them for a bit. She examined the liquid inside closely.

Enstra looks about wearily.

((Collecting and preparing... That's what we can call this... Preparing for the horrors of the Labyrinth...))

The liquid gave a little shine whenever she moved the spheres to fast, almost lighting up. Enstra also had a saddlebag on her back.

Enstra pulls off her saddlebag and opens it up.

Inside, Enstra finds a map of the labyrinth(I'll draw it for you and post it later... I can draw mazes easy enough!) and what looks like a blanket of some kind.

Alriiight! Enstra smiles at the map. Why she'd have a blanket is beyond her, but she knows it's probabley going to come in handy.

Map? Physics says, pouncing near Enstra to get a better look at it. Perfect! Just perfect! Physics shouts in ecstatic joy.

Enstra nods. This is exactly what we need!

We'll get out...in no time! Physics says in joy.

((I'll get the maze drawn up tomorrow morning. I have some nice graph paper to do it on...(Yes, it's going to be a really large and confusing maze....)))

Esntra looks him dead in the eye. Calm down. We don't know what it'll throw at us when we least expect it. She gets really serious.

((Alright))

Laebenal puts her saddlebag down and takes a look inside. "I don't like saddlebags but there might be something useful inside..." She says mostly to herself.

Inside of Lae's bag is... Another map... As well as what looks like a ladder or a bridge of some kind, ropes connecting planks of wood together.

Physics retreats and backs away from Esntra, unable to properly form a cohesive defense from that stare. Physics gives out a slightly pathetic whimper. S-sorry... Was all Physics could say.

"This... Might be a trick... You know?" Aqua was unsure of what to think of all of the helping items. All she did think about them was how they would work, or how they might fail in times of need.

Laebenal takes a look on the stuff in her saddlebag and puts them back in it. She then puts the saddlebag on her back. "Are we going to move forward or stay here?" Se asks.

((Does Greek Fire burst in an intense light that acts like a flash bang... Without the bang?? If so, then yes.))

(( It bursts in an intense light when it's headed right towards you, otherwise no... It's long range, and actually eastern Roman. Oh well, I guessed. Close enough, right? ))
"I prefer the former..." The unicorn commented, beginning to walk forth.

Aqua follows closely behind him, looking around. She examined the walls, but stopped as she took her fourth step. "Who has the string?"

hooves her the string again

"Thank you.." Aqua set the edge of the string down, and made her magic grip a bit stronger on the tips of the roll, so it would spin. She walked forth once more.

Physics slowly follows the group, kinda unsure of anything anymore.

Let's all stick together...FOR REAL this time.  Enstra nods to the group.

Laebenal follows the others.

Physics nods in rapid succession. Yes, yes, together, stick together... Physics says in a rather spastic tone.

As they begin to proceed into the Labyrinth, the maps chime for each one that enters. The chimes almost seemed loud, louder than they should of been, and for a moment, it seemed like the noises that had been echoing all over the room stopped... And listened.

((I really need to draw up those maps...))

"Do you all think we are alone?" Aqua asked. The words that came out of her mouth seemed a bit spaced out. She looked at the others with the string floating near her head.

Physics gives a quick shrug. Maybe......most likely not... Physics tells Aqua, his wording rather awkward due to his current lack of thinking.

I've got the feeling we're never alone here...  Enstra looks slightly terrified.

Dream right? Physics says, a bit jitterly in his movements, shaking a little. Can we....control dream? Physics says, knowing that if one knew they where in a dream, and tried hard enough, they could usually wrap reality inside it.

Only if you lucid dream, and even then, there are things you can't control. And I feel this is more than just a dream.....

Laebenal follows the others and is not saying a word.

((Oh Dear, you're back for vacation the day before I leave for mines...))

Risque has remained in his cell this entire time. Something about the place he's trapped in seems to have him going insane. He's quickly losing his grip on reality, which he's already been severed from via this terrible place. He can feel himself dipping into a dark state of chaos, can hear the voices of one named Xin. Dark, silent whispers. Always speaking. Always whispering. Always echoing through his thoughts, his mind, the very cell he's holed himself in.

His lips spread in a small grin as he presses his hoof against the wall of the cell. His hoof seems to be writing out words on the cell wall, as if he's speaking back to the voice. His eyes have shrunk. His grin has spread creepily across his face, almost wider than physically possible. He can see his reflection in the wall. No skin, organs beating beneath layers of bones. He starts to let out a soft bout of laughter, which inevitably strengthens in pitch. Eventually he trails off into a horrid series of hacking and dark laughter.

His sanity has left him.

Explicit can feel her twin brother within Farsight's home. She shuffles through the home, looking everywhere she can think to find Risque. He's here, but he isn't. Where could he possibly be? And then she feels it, something very familiar. Something she felt during her battle with her sickness. Something she felt within Farsight then, and something that must have taken hold of him now. She presses her cheek against a wall, feeling useless.

The whole time she was coming to this mansion, she could only think about what she'd done. Her brother always seemed so cut off, she wanted to trick him into being social for once. She lied about her sickness. Risque had been away exploring, so he didn't know her illness was gone. She used it to convince him into joining Farsight in her stead. All that was happening was her fault.

Risque's eyes regained some of their size. His laughter stopped. The wall changed away from a writing board and a mirror, a disgusting reflection of himself, and into a window. On the other end of the wall was his twin sister. Explicit was right there. He has to reach out to her, to let her know he's trapped. He can see Explicit raise her head away from the wall and turn to it. Apparently she can see him, too, though not physically.

"Explicit, help!" Risque yells, slowly falling back into his insanity.

Explicit looks around, having heard Risque just barely. She then focuses her attention on the wall. She clears her mind and lets out a deep breath. She opens her eyes to see the inside of the cell that Risque was just in, and to see him on the outside, wide eyed. Just as she went to speak to him, to tell him to run, the window closed itself. Risque had unknowingly delivered his sister, The Dreamer, into the hands of Xin.

And on top of that, she's all alone. She quickly moves out of the cell and the small lockup room, into the hall. She can feel other presences within the dream, and she heads towards them. She can feel Xin slowly cutting off her connection to the dream, slowly preventing her from having any power, but she does have a little while before that can happen.

Physics gives a quick nod of agreement. But...we should still move forward... Physics says, troting forward, not wanting to stay in one place due to some sort of paranoia he had gotten due to his lowered sanity. His moves where subtle and scared, not breaking into a sprint, more like a slow crawl forward, giving his "go ahead" command, only a token response.

Enstra starts slowly walking, then stops. Where's Risque?! She suddenly realizes that he's gone.

As Explicit enters the world, a resounding laugh shakes the Dream around them. [shadow=red,left]WELCOME DREAMER! Welcome to my Realm of Horrors! I do hope you enjoy your stay! [/shadow]

The area around Explicit shimmers, and she appears with the group, although she is missing a saddlebag. A voice whispers into her mind... Explicit...? What...? Why are you here, what happened....... It sounded like Farsight, but he sounded very weak and distant. He also sounded like he was in pain.

Laebenal starts to growl at the newcomer in an offensive stance.

Explicit is both thrilled and horrified by the voice in her mind. She focuses on Farsight as he once was, not as his possessor has made him. She mentally builds a direct connection between herself and Farsight, praying that Xin won't immediately notice it. As subtly as she can, she sends him a message.

"I was invited, sent my brother instead. Came to find him, felt something wrong. Swapped places with him. Where are you? I know he must have you chained inside the dream, or you couldn't talk to me." Explicit spoke through her mental connection, not paying any mind to the ponies around her. She'd get to them in a moment.

Farsight was glad that Explicit was there now. She had experiences with Dreams as well, and it may help the group. He tentatively contacted her again, Good... To see you here... Sorta.. I.. I-I don't know where I am... Chained, shackled, looks like top floor of the mansion... Many floors between... Many Nightmares... Careful... As he spoke with the mare, another voice echoed in their thoughts, [shadow=red,left]DREAMER! How dare you try to contact my pet!? When I find you... I will own you... [/shadow]As the last word echoed in their minds, a wedge was driven between the bond, severing it.

As the bond was cut, the Nightmare shimmered around the others, and it almost felt like a scream could be heard, sounding like Farsight. The repercussion also hit Explicit, not as hard, but it still smashed her mind like a blast from an ice cannon.

The maze lay before them, ready to be explored. There were 3 directions they could travel, left, right, and straight.

Enstra looks at her map. So..Can anypony help me figure out were this map begins and ends?

Explicit pushes her hooves against her ears. The screaming noise, despite being dulled by her dream senses, is actually more painful to her than it likely was to the others. She shakes herself, getting the feeling to fall away. She may not be able to do anything in direct effect with this dream, but at least she knows it's just a dream. That's going to get her through the majority of this "adventure".

Just remember this, Xin, Explicit thinks to herself, knowing that he can hear, I know what you're capable of, and I'm not afraid.

(Perhaps I can introduce an interesting thing for Explicit to discover? The difference between two separate types of dreams. One is a Malevolence, a dream created by evil, where far more can be done in the way of darkness. The other is an Innocence, one made out of a passive nature, often unintentionally while asleep or near death. She thinks an Innocence is the same thing as a Malevolence right now.)

Physics trembles as he hears Xin talk. We have to go...before...before he finds us... Physics says trembling. Before...before we all go to sleep...forever... Physics says, worried for all the groups minds.

Aqua was a bit dazzled by the array of horrible sounds and the shimmering around them. It took her a few seconds to recover as she took a few steps back. "Oh... Right..." The unicorn quickly trotted to Enstra's side to see the map, first looking at the edges, trying to find an intersection.

"I have a map also, if you want yo see it..." Laebenal says.

Enstra brings her map by Laebanal's. So, two maps... Which do we use?

Aureate looks blankly a head of her as she said,
Why not both? We could form two teams. . .
One team for your map Enstra, and one team for Laebanal's map. . .
She doesn't seem like she is talking to anypony in particular, just talking out loud to her self.

Figuring she's talking to the group, Aqua cuts in. "We should compare them first, shouldn't we?"

Physics simply waits, to scared and insane to be of any help, he just stands in his place a few meters away from the group from his previous advancement shivering on the ground.

The two maps are incredibly similar, only small variations, but they both lead to completely different endings. It's unclear what each ending will be, but they both seem to head out. There is only one thing really left to do, choose left, right, or straight.

((I'll get the maps drawn later tonight and post them... But it will irrelevant once you start...  ovO))

Aqua thought a moment, before giving her opinion. "How about we split into two groups, and use both? See what the outcome is..." That moment she realized that they only had one coil of string, not two.

Physics could barely hear what the group was talking about, he was to busy starring into the darkness, trying to find any signs of Xins approach, he had to be alert, he had to be focused!
((Because being alone from the group makes one easier a target!))

Groups, that a good idea. But how would we decided the groups?

"How about we pick captains? Or just say they're the ponies who had the maps, and they choose their members in turns?" Aqua didn't mind which group she was in either. She looked over the group just to see how they were doing. The unicorn herself wasn't in the most mentally fit condition, swearing she could have felt a tap on her back every so often, but that was just her mind playing tricks on her, so she thought.

((DON'T WORRY, EVERYPONY! I'm drawing the maps up now... Ugh, I didn't think this big of a map would take up this much time... GO GO GRAPH PAPER!))

As they continue to discuss their plans... The are seems to go a little darker, and a breathing noise starts to pick up, faint at first, but it builds.

Aqua picked up on the change quickly, her ear twitching as she listened. She didn't mention the noise yet, but it frightened her quite a bit. Usually she would be more civilized and composed, but now she took a step closer to the group out of fear.

((Just wait until you actually see the maps... There is only ONE subtle difference... But it will mean the difference of finding the exit and being stuck forever...  ovO))

The breathing sound only makes Physics more alert, he continues scanning the darkness with his eyes, trying to find something worth warning the group about.

Enstra points to the straight ahead path.I think that's were we should go. And quickly, that noise is creeping me out. Can whichever pony who's doing that cut it out?!

"I... Don't think that's one of us..." Aqua comments, turning around and observing their surroundings. Nothing in the area, yet...

The heavy breathing continues, and it seems to come from everywhere at once. Running water can be heard coming from the pathway in front of them, although it was very faint, and may have gone unnoticed before.

Sanity is not drained, but atmosphere is being set up... Who knows what that breathing really is!!!

"No... Not water again..." Laebenal says when she heard the water running.

I...have light spell to help check... Physics says, focusing all his magic into his light spell, madly cursing the magic weakening effect of the dream realm inside his mind as he focused the magic. A small light appears from his horn, at first a unfocused lamp like affect, before slowly focusing into a brighter, flashlight-esqe affect.
He shines the light in the middle path, as he was already in it a little and that was the only one he could shine it on.

Lovely, geting soaking wet again. I'd say to try and avoid it, let's take the left! Enstra nods to the left path quickly.

Aqua nods in agreement, heading left.

As the group follows the left path they can see a few openings along the walls. Further down, the path begins to narrow, ending up so that only one pony at a time could enter.

I'll go first.  Enstra says, shaking her head. She trots through the narrow pathway, looking at her surroundings.

((Lovely...Oh, teh paranoia... ovO.))

Physics quickly scrambles out of the middle passage way, and goes with the group with the left one, bumping into the pony in the back since he couldn't slow down enough in time to stop his charge, crashing like a bull charging into a wall.

Laebenal let out a scream when something bumbed on her back and she kicked it with her both hindlegs. She then quickly turned around and saw Physics. "Oh, I thought that you were some kind of monster... You should be more careful..." She says to Physics breathing heavily.

Physics rubs his head, the kick to the head managed to shake the pony a little, temporarily disorienting him. [color=blue[So-sorry...[/color] Physics says meekly, giving a weak smile as he rubbed the spot he got kicked in.

The breathing echoes even louder in the confined space, still sounding like it was coming from everywhere. Other, indescribable sounds can now be heard as the group starts down the narrow way.

*sigh* "Come now. You don't want to get away from the group at a place like this." Laebenal says to Physics and turns around.

Aqua followed closely behind Enstra, not bothering to look behind her.

Physics gives a shudder and moves close, staying right behind Laebenal, ignoring the heat coming off her tail, almost hugging her flank from how close he was, now that he was scared of being lost from the group in this place.

Esntra leads throgh the narrow space, feeling uncomfortable.

They arrive at a wall, only two branching corridors lead off to the right and left, the right being significantly narrower than the left.

Which way now? Physics asks the group, wanting directions.

I'd say we take the right.  Enstra calls to the rest of the group. What does everypony else say?

"I'm pretty sure it's right... Last I checked the left was a dead end." Aqua doesn't like being crammed in like this. Open areas, and quiet areas she preferred, though neither of them would be here.

Alright. Enstra swings right, down the tight corridor. Eep! This is enough to make anypony claustrophobic!

Let's not think about that...

Explicit, having been following the group since their decision to go left and avoid the sound of water, was finding herself being spread thin between the walls of the narrowing hall. If claustrophobia were one of her fears, she'd be freaking out right now. Fortunately, she actually has a liking for tight spaces and the comfort they bring.

Physics trots through the small corridor, thankful for his tall thin body.

Aqua wasn't feeling too pleasant, and sped a little, hoping to get out of there quickly.

As the group wanders down the hall, it stays as tight as it was. A beaching corridor leads off to their right and a path leads ahead of them. The right way was a bit wider, but still would only allow one pony through.

A saddlebag appears on Explicit's back.

"Do we pick the narrow one again?" Laebenal says.

Aqua is right behind Enstramentall, and peaks over her shoulder to see the map. "Gladly, no. We head right.. Ahead of us is just swirls and stuff..."

Swirls? Physics asks Aqua in confusion. Please clarify? Physics asks Aqua, confused by what Swirls meant.

"Dead end." Aqua simply said instead, to clarify what she meant.

Oh... Physics says, wondering how one is supposed to go from "swirls" to "dead-end" like that.

then we know which way to go now

So, we go the way AWAY from the dead end. My map says the same.

"And to that... Thingy..." She pointed to the Icon of the fountain.

Physics tries to look over the map, but there where some ponies in his way, be he got the jist of it. Fountain? Physics says, seeing the map, suddenly realizing how thirst he was.
I...I could use a drink about now.... Physics says, straining his drained mind to form those words.

"Are we going to move forward or what?" Laebenal says frustrated.

Let's head towards there, then.

Aqua nodded. "Alright. I can't wait to get out of here..."

As they head down the hall, the sound of running water can be heard once more. They reach the end, and the path widens again, and a beautiful fountain stands before them. A gate and another single pony hall lies to there left and the larger hall continues to their right. The breathing now sounds like its behind them... Slowly getting closer.

Enstra says silent, and sits on the edge of the fountain.

Physics rushes to the fountain, sinking his head deep into it, taking a drink to quench his thirst. *gulp gulp gulp*

(( Is this like Pacman? Except Pacman has an endless supply of those big orbs, and we're the ghosts? ))
Aqua looks at Enstra's map, and then the gate. "We should go to the gate after this." The unicorn heads to the fountain, looking into it.

Mhm. Enstra notices Physics drinking the water from the fountain. PHYSICS! Do you seriously think that's a good idea? Eating and drinking is what got us in this mess in the FIRST PLACE!

"Right now, we're not even in our physical bodies..." She wanted to add 'so what could go wrong?', but knew that would just jinx all of them.

A low gurgle can be heard from the hall they had just left.

A glint of gold can be seen inside the very, unnatural depths of the fountain.

As Physics sees the gold, he tries to use his telekinesis to lift whatever it was to him, his natural greed kicking in.

"No, stop, Physics!" Now she was just being a hypocrite. She could hear the gurgling, and didn't bother to turn her head.

Laebenal watches Physics keeping her distance to the fountain. "What is he trying to do?" She asks.

it looks like the gold is lifting... Or is Physics falling. With A giant splash, Physics falls in. It feels like he is being dragged down to the bottom.

(Idiot!) Aqua tries to use her magic to pull him out, unaware that she herself might fall in.

Physics quickly realizes what happens, even his broken mind could understand what was happening. Physics quickly tries to swim to the top of the fountain, still using his telekinesis to try to pull the gold thing out while he tries to swim up.

Gosh!  Enstra reaches for one of Physics legs, trying to pull him back up.

"And nopony understands the dangers of water..." Laebenal says shaking her head and she starts to walk towards the fountain.

The water seemed to come to life and grabbed both Enstra and Aqua, pulling them in. The coins really hadn't moved, and the fountain wasn't going to give up its treasures.

Physics gives up on the coin, now trying to teleport himself, Enstra, and Aqua upward, and out of the water, though the regular magic weakening affect of this world, and the strain of trying to teleport three, drastically weakened the range they where going up.

Aqua tried to swim upwards, though she wasn't much of a swimmer at all. She tried to propel herself upwards with her own magic.

Before they even knew what happened, they were all outside the fountain, soaking wet and obviously shaken from the ordeal.

Physics immediately curls up in a ball and starts shuddering. nevergonearwater,nevergonearwater... Physics mumbles to himself.

The gurgling is getting closer...

Aqua finally recovered, and heard the gurgling. "We should, uh.. Go..."

Physics jumps upward and makes a mad-dash past the group into the new direction, not thinking clearly.

((North or South?))

((There are 2 directions he could go... North, back toward the entrance, or South, towards the gate.))

Physics runs a slight distance, but a gate of worked filigrees blocks his passage... There must be a lever to open it somewhere...

Physics bangs his hooves on the gates for a few seconds, before frantically moving around the room to look for a way to open the gate.

The walls are smooth and there is nothing around that looks like it can open the gate.

Physics, unable to think of any subtle means of getting out puts his horn to the gate, and make a small blaze at the tip of his horn, trying to melt his way through it.

The heat begins to travel down his horn, burning him in place of the gate.

Physics stops the fire, feeling the pain. He gives a whimper as he falls to the ground in a shudder of pain, waiting from the group to advance and help him solve the problem.

Aqua cantered; no, ran to Physics, and then stared at the gate, seeing if there was a lever on it.

((If you look at the map, it's that little box thing to the right and up from the gate... If that makes sense.))

Explicit catches up to the group, stopping at Physics and looking to see if he's alright as well. She notices the burn marks and grimaces a bit. It's just like her dream, what happens in the dream will probably carry over into reality. They needed to be far more careful now than ever, especially since anything can happen. She quickly rises, not giving any time to worry about what has happened and simply hurrying to find a way to undo it. She checks the floor near the filigrees, then the ceiling, attempting to discover any potential weakness. Perhaps she could harness what's left of her dream energy? No, she'll need that later.

She begins to run her hooves on the walls, feeling for any pressure plates or switches. Even some sort of magical key would be satisfying right now. She's not even sure if she's searching for the right thing, since Xin could have set the grate to unlock from any sort of device.

Enstra sees what Explicit is doing, and starts doing the same. Good idea.

"Wait... The map... I thought I saw something on it... I mean, something near here.." She didn't sound so sure, though. The unicorn backed from the gate, taking a breather.

Enstra backs up from the wall and pulls out her map, studying it.

"Here's mine if you want to look at it too." Laeenal says and brings her map to them.

On the maps, a little way off, back down the hall they first turned onto after they had entered the labyrinth, something that looked like a lever can be seen... But it's down a dead end...

...Somepony's got to go back there.

Aqua new Physics wouldn't be able to go in his condition, so she thought a bit, in silence.

Physics shudders, eyeing his burn mark, thankful he was numb to the pain.

Aureate stands there in silence, waiting to see if anypony would be willing to go.

i guess i'll go

Explicit puts her hoof on Tezaku's back, rubbing it slowly. "Together." she says with a simple nod, taking point. She moves through the corridors, finding her way to the location of the lever. Upon arriving at the location, she waits for Tezaku to catch up, not wanting to leave the pony behind or leave herself alone. She waits, looking around a bit to see if she can find out where the lever may be.

Enstra studies her map. Alright, while they're gone, what do we do?

Aqua thought for a moment. "We wait... We can't do much else." She looked around, staring at the gate, taking in every little detail of it for no specified reason.

Enstra sits down on the ground, lowering her eyes, just to think. Will we ever get home?  She asks herself.

A screech can be heard on the distance, followed by heavy hoof falls, but they fade after a few seconds.

Enstra stands up in a slight flash of panic. She looks around, wide eyed. What was that?! She asks frantically.

Aqua's train of thought is ruined, and she jumps backwards, looking around. She quickly canters over to the fountain. The unicorn is still a bit wet, but she forgot completely about what the fountain did.

Aqua, STOP!  She screeches, dashing over to her and holding her back.

Aureate watches the two ponies, not knowing what to do.
A bit scared by the screech, and worried that it isn't too far from here.

"Wha-Bu-" Aqua quickly realizes what she's doing, and goes away from the fountain. "Right, right..."

Enstra lets go of Aqua, then steps away a bit. She sits down on the ground were whe was before, and lays back on her back, looking up. I was told there  were silver linings to every cloud...But WHERE IN HAY is this one?!

Way out is lining.... Physics says, trying to sound hopful..

Aureate sighs,
Well, seems like this cloud is too dark for a silver lining.
. . .
Should we be worried about that screech? It didn't sound like it was too far from here. . .

"Uh.. Yeah... We need to keep an eye out.. You know." Aqua was worried about the screech, not liking it at all. This place gave her the creeps, and later on she might regret having her vision back for now.

Aureate starts thinking about the other two ponies, then about the screech.
What if the two ponies never come back and we are just waiting for nothing?
Also what if whatever made that screech comes closer. . .
Aureate sighs  and said,
Should we really be staying in one place this long?
I mean, this place is dangerous. And that screech scared
me half to death! I can't be the only pony who is worried about it?
And what about those two other ponies? What happened to them?
Aureate sounded a bit like she is panicing, but she tries to stay calm.

"If we stay too long in one place at least something will get us. How long will it take or is it a pony or not, I don't know."  Laebenal says trying to keep herself as calm as possible.

How long will it take for them to get back?  Enstra shivers, afraid. It shouldn't of been that hard!

Physics continues shivering in fear on the ground.

"Maybe they're gone; worse yet, dead!" Aqua said loudly, as the hoofsteps could've been a monster, and the screech theirs. The thought of it alone gave the unicorn the chills.

-At the lever-

As the two ponies approach the lever, they see it is standing in an upright position, and can me moved either right or left; one way opens the gate, the other may doom them all...

-At the gate-

While the ponies are deciding what to do, a shadow passes beyond the gate, far down the hall. It couldn't easily be seen, as it was only a shadow on a shadow.

Explicit moves her hoof left and right, her face lost in extreme thought. She tries to figure out which way to push the lever, and finally comes to a conclusion. "Left." she says knowingly and confidently. "Pushing it the right way would be too obvious. I was able to wander through dreams with Farsight for a while, and I know he has some power here, though it may be very little. I hold onto my faith in that." she says, knocking her hoof to the left and pushing the lever. She would rather get it wrong and it all be her fault than place the blame on another.

In all reality, after all, there was no way to know which direction would do the trick.

-At the lever-

A series of clinks and whirls can be heard, as if machinery is being activated after many years of remaining still. A low growl can be heard back down the hall from where the two ponies had entered, and a wardrobe materializes nearby them, beckoning them to enter. ((#AmnesiaReference.))

-At the gate-

An even louder series of mechanical parts moving can be heard, and the gate begins to slowly descend into the ground. As it falls, the shadow on shadow movement can be seen beyond the gate once more. A low grumble is heard down the hall.

Aqua finally notices the sounds, and the shadow, and a panicked look made it's way onto her face. She took a nervous step forward, towards the gate, knowing that the only way they were to prevail was if they pushed forward. They had to help Farsight, and that was on her mind.

Physics casts a light spell into the darkness trying to get the other group a better view of what was going on, while he closes his eyes out of fear.

Aureate is more relaxes a bit, finaly being out of the dark.
She gives the group a weak smile,
You guys ready to go?
Or should we wait for the other two?

Explicit looks up, feeling something malicious coming down the hallway. She can feel its eyes searching, constantly watching for something. She turns to Tezaku, putting her hooves on the pony and then looking at the wardrobe. "This is going to sound really strange, but we need to get into that wardrobe." she says, extremely concerned about the being she feels down the hall. She moves towards the wardrobe, getting into it and then realizing there's only really enough room for one. "Oh... You get in, I'll make due." Explicit says, hoping that the other pony gets in.

Escy looks around for something she might be able to throw as a distraction.

(Gogo magically respawning torso!)

Laebenal is standing still and listening to the voices.

i wouldn't want to know what happens if what ever it is coming, so we should both hide somehow, but if your sure you want me to go in there, alright he says, going into the wardrobe

-At Farsight's prison-

Farsight could feel what Explicit was trying to do, trying to be an hero. He couldn't let that happen, or Xin would take her, trapping her forever... He exerted what little will he had left again...

-At the lever-

The wardrobe began to stretch, widening a bit more, making room for more than one to fit comfortably inside. The groans and thumping hoofsteps were growing closer, and chains could be heard shaking from its body. It had yet to reach the two, but it was just around the corner...

-At the gate-

As Physics' light spell moves down the hall, it illuminates the shadow... It was a horrific site, a pony with no fur nor mane and pale as a corpse. It's mouth dangled open, drool slowly dripping out. It noticed the light and with that, the group of ponies down the hall. It groaned loudly, sounding like a strangled shout. It began to shamble, moving quicker than it should have, extra, clawed hooves sown onto it scratching at the walls as it lurched towards them.

Aqua was stunned by the creature, whatever it was. The unicorn was stunned, unable to move, staring at the creature as it sped towards them. Her breathing became heavier, and her heart was pounding in sheer horror.

Laebenal is surprised after seeing the creature and she is shocked making her unable to move. She stands there staring at the pony-like creature coming towards them.

quick get in! he says

Physics shouts in fear screaming like a mad pony, as he fires a fireball at the creature, though it was weakened by the affect of the dream world, being more like a thrown lit stick.

Aureate steps a few feet back, she doesn't want to be near that creature.
She stares straight ahead, with a frighten expression on her face.

Explicit watches as the wardrobe stretches and she can't believe her eyes. She quickly jumps into it, knowing that it's a gift. She presses herself tightly against the back of the wardrobe, remaining as calm as she can. She feels something dangling beside her and she turns to see a dilapidated coat hanging down. She shakes her head and makes a horrible comment in her head. 'Welcome to Narnia.' she thinks. She remains quiet, awaiting the passing of the horrid creature she'd heard only moments ago.

he waits until it passes or goes away what ever it is, it's getting closer with the hoof steps he whispers

Enstra flips out, the look of death searing through her being with a shiver up her spine. She shreiks and gallops several meters away, her heart bounding with each of the creature's hoofsteps.
