I once followed Fluffle Puff in the Everfree Forest. She certainly knows her way around because we went straight to Zecora then straight back to ponyville.

False. The servers aren't down, you just cannot enter them. The team probably made a unique model and gave him/her access to the servers for the sake of advertisement.
